From the people that brought you Trattoria Carina, Pub & Kitchen and The Diving Horse comes their newest restaurant, Carina Sorella.

Carina Sorella is a casual neighborhood Italian restaurant with a focus on delicious and approachable food in a bright, vibrant atmosphere. Our menu is built around classic dishes - Spaghetti and Meatballs, Cacio e Pepe, Caesar Salad, Chicken Parmesan - but we surround that core of dishes with seasonal, chef driven specialties.

The Bryn Mawr location will include the addition of a pizza oven and a full bar, building on the smaller footprint of the existing location in Philadelphia, Trattoria Carina.

My daughter and I were visiting the area and craving some Italian cuisine. Carina Sorella had great reviews, which were spot on. Food was fantastic, classy ambiance, and great servers! Highly recommend!

We had a delicious meal - octopus and the crab pasta and pasta bolognese. All was delicious with some to take home. Server was very affable and attentive. The ambiance is cozy though can be a little loud

The food and service were subpar at best. We ordered the heirloom tomato and Barada appetizer. The tomatoes were mushy and we should've sent it back. The Cesar salad was incredibly overdressed. The pasta dishes we ordered were over salted and the chicken Parm was overcooked and over breaded. Very dry. Overall, very unsatisfying.

I was really looking forward to our Saturday dinner date here with my husband but left mostly disappointed. I will start by saying that the service was wonderful. Our waitress was attentive and very helpful with describing menu in detail. Our meal started with mocktail and zero proof beer. Cucumber mojito was lovely but they were out of the beer my husband ordered off the menu, so they brought another one. Octopus appetizer was my favorite dish. I wish I’d ordered a second as my entree. Caesar salad was nothing special. Chicken parmigiana (a bit too crisp around edges) was overpriced at $35. The scallop dish was good but nothing special for $44. Good thing they had tiramisu of which we took one home though. At $154 plus tip, dinner should have been better. It was also a bit too loud. Don’t think we’ll be returning.
