From the people that brought you Trattoria Carina, Pub & Kitchen and The Diving Horse comes their newest restaurant, Carina Sorella.

Carina Sorella is a casual neighborhood Italian restaurant with a focus on delicious and approachable food in a bright, vibrant atmosphere. Our menu is built around classic dishes - Spaghetti and Meatballs, Cacio e Pepe, Caesar Salad, Chicken Parmesan - but we surround that core of dishes with seasonal, chef driven specialties.

The Bryn Mawr location will include the addition of a pizza oven and a full bar, building on the smaller footprint of the existing location in Philadelphia, Trattoria Carina.

This restaurant is very loud. We had to yell to hear each other. Also, it was quite expensive for what we got. The food was ok but definitely not worth the cost. The pasta sauce was on the bland side. No extra cheese was on offer. It’s a good thing I wasn’t super hungry because my portion of fish was very small. Probably will not be returning.

There were plenty of open tables when we arrived on time for our reservation. We were told to wait. We waited 15 min before a table opened up.

I love the Corina in the city however this was a dismal experience. The food was mediocre at best and the cheese on each dish tasted stale (the burrata in particular was horrendous). Not sure why this is such a drop from the city restaurant but honestly it put such bad taste in my mouth I may never try either restaurant again.

First time dining here. Really enjoyed the food. The interior design is cool. Nice vibes. Nice bar. Much bigger than I thought. Pizza great. Focaccia bread outstanding. The Rigatoni vodka amazing. My son got the chicken parm which was delicious . We were able to have leftovers next day which was a treat. Large portions. We will be back.

Be prepared for not being able to hear people at your table because so noisy, mediocre and overpriced food. Cacio e Pepe was oily, lettuce was brown for salad we ordered, won’t return.

Our server was great! The restaurant was VERY noisy. The Brussel sprout appetizer was very good so was the brownie we shared for dessert. Our dinners were nothing special…chicken parm and bolognese.

Positives- pleasant, vibrant ambiance, cocktails, the woman at the exit graciously opens the door to let the guests out Excellent broccoli rabe, bucatini cacio e pepe Room for improvement- tentative reception staff, confused about where to seat us Pizza arrived way after the 3 other entrees had been served, overdressed chopped salad that was chopped with a heavy hand, the crab pasta was short on crab Unusually stingy pours for wine by the glass!! Server uncouthly reached over the bar to place wine on our table

2nd time here and it’s another great experience. Fantastic dishes with incredible appetizers. Service is set to a great cadence from drinks to dessert. Definitely going back again.

The food was delicious, the service was decent, the prices were a bit steep, and the noise level was ridiculously high - I couldn't hear what was being said at my table.
