Caribbean Fish Market
But we are more than just Food …Fabulous food is only one aspect of your dining experience!
Service was slow but I think it was something in the kitchen. Our server was great.
Very delicious- nice and friendly— great beach views
Food was delicious and servers were excellent. They were attentive and engaged in light conversation making it very enjoyable.
Great Atmosphere and service was outstanding! Highly recommend
Came off a fishing charter to enjoy my fresh tuna being served multiple ways.
I had to take the fish 4 hours ahead of our reservation; this was no problem. However, we waited over an hour (close to 1.5 hours) to get our meal. We took at least 5 lbs of fish to the restaurant, and we lucky to have been served 2! My family and I enjoyed the fish that was prepared, but were very disappointed to leave hungry! We should have had leftovers with the amount of tuna taken there. We have learned to prepare our own in the future as we have lost faith that the restaurant gave us what we earned!!! To top it off, we left with a $200 bill !! We will not be back!
We waited 2 hours for our entrees. My lobster was overdone. The fish was overdone. Overall, disappointing.
Most of the food was excellent but the lobster tail was not hot and it was tough. The portions were good size
Good selection of seafood. Wine bottle prices on high side among comparable level restaurants a ferry ride away in St John.
Perfect place to spend my birthday. We enjoyed everything we ordered. From apps to desserts.
No one was impressed with the food from this restaurant.
The lobster was very tough and had zero flavor. The grouper was overcooked and had crab that was shredded, similar in texture from tuna from the can. The seafood pot did have a good flavor broth but only the fish in it tasted good. The conch fritters were pretty much all breading, I think one of the six we could actually taste any conch in it. The orange cheesecake had a good flavor sauce on it. We ordered no alcohol and the bill was $260 with tip for 4. Wish we would have skipped this place.
The atmosphere was nice on the beach with tiki torches
Excellent menu and execution on the dishes we ordered: the Grouper and Wahoo. The Key Lime pie was superb for a nice finishing touch. Highly recommended.
Delicious food and nice atmosphere
It was for birthday dinner and service, food quality were poor.
Great location on the water, food and service were both excellent. Enjoyed everything we ordered
20th wedding anniversary
Probably one of the best meals (and overall menus) I’ve seen on St Thomas. We will definitely recommend to everyone coming to visit! Our server (a very very tall gentleman) was fantastic too!
Great service, yummy food and a wonderful atmosphere! Would definitely eat there again.
Great disposition of all personnel. Food was excellent, especially the wahoo.
Wonderful experience, first time we’d been there and will definitely go back.
Excellent food, great service and great atmosphere.
Awesome venue and amazing service. While it is a tad more expensive than most restaurants definitely worth it for the level of service and quality of the food.
The view and setting is the best part of this place. The service is a close second and honestly the food comes in 3rd.
I’ve come twice wile visiting St. Thomas and preferred the daytime ambiance and views of the ocean.
Everything was amazing. Our server was Mr. Big Life and he took incredible care of us. Can’t recommend this place enough. If they have the sea bass, get it ;)
The service and food were wonderful. Our only disappointment was the canvas “sides” were drawn down and we didn’t get the beautiful view of the sea that we were hoping for.
We loved our server Nicole! Amazing location, the staff at the Elysian was super helpful and great food. The calamari and the ahi tuna nachos were to die for! There were tiki torches and the beach was right there. Really nice setting.
Great prime rib dinner. It is the Wednesday special.
Food was excellent and beautiful location. Charged $7 a bottle for still water and didn’t know until the bill arrived.
We got table right next to beach, lovely breeze and excellent waitress, very attentive. Wife had wahoo fish & hubby had shrimp penne, both were excellent.
They make a mediocre Old Fashion drink. We got two lobster dinners, they should have told us how big the lobster was because we would have then split one instead of having two.
Great food and experience!
Food and service was great. Portions was very small
The grouper was wonderful and I highly recommend the key lime pie for dessert
We celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary at this restaurant while visiting St Thomas. The food was fabulous and well worth it. Definitely make reservations ahead of time. You will enjoy this restaurant with it being beachside and the ambiance.
Moderate service and food quality for the price - great atmosphere and physical building / location.
Met and exceeded all expectations. However, we could have shared the Paella!
We enjoyed the Caribbean Fish Market for both dinner and Sunday brunch. The brunch was outstanding and the dinner was very good. For brunch I had my first ever, off the chart good soft shell crab BLT. Dinner was a marvelous seafood hot pot followed by ginger creme brûlée. Reservations were tricky to get but upon arrival there were seats available for walk ins. The only shortcoming is that I did have a “if it’s too loud you are too old” moment at brunch. The music is so loud that it’s impossible to converse with a person that is not immediately next to you. That said the food was really excellent and the $20 bottomless mimosas were fun.
I was definitely disappointed in our experience at CFM. We we seated immediately, which was great. Our waiter took his time getting our drinks and food orders. The food was definitely the most disappointing part of our experience. We had the conch fritters, which were the highlight of our meal. I wanted to stuffed lobster but they were out, so I went with the plain lobster. It was chewy and honestly I think I could get better lobster back home at Red Lobster. My husband had the grouper, said it was ok, but very fishy taste to it—I know, it’s fish! Wouldn’t go back or recommend to anyone.
Wonderful brunch and great service
Great location and ambiance. Food was good but fish was a bit dry.
1st of all we were seated in a corner so dark we ha to use our phones to read the menus. Our food was very small portions. Not very well prepared. Crusted Wahoo tasted like burnt popcorn. Crusted Grouper was very over cooked and dried out.
Our server was out of it. Couldn’t get our orders straight. He brought the check before our food was delivered because he thought we already ate. We hadn’t even had appetizers yet.
This is not a restaurant I will return to. The locals we spoke to about our experience say this is typical for this restaurant.
