                                                    This Caribbean restaurant delivers big on flavour and atmosphere. The Ox tail was perfectly seasoned, the curry goat tender and rich, and the rice and peas were spot on. Every dish felt like a taste of home. Friendly staff, great vibes, and food full of soul, this place is a must-visit. FINALLY, BIRMINGHAM HAS A GREAT AUTHENTIC CARRIBEAN RESTAURANT.

                                                    We had a lovely Sunday dinner! I had curry goat and my friend had peppered steak. Both were delicious. I would certainly go again.

                                                    Booked for a set time and suggest that it was a Date night. Arrived slightly before the time was booked and there was no one on the reception desk and after waiting someone came out to show us a table, which was not usable given the was only a couple in the restaurant area, I asked to be move because we could not reach each other and a better table was offered. The menu was not the best, but we made our choice with starters, the issue we had was that the main and the starters arrived at the same time. We spoke to the waitress, she was very apologetic, her comment was not good saying that some people like it that way. The restaurant area could be a lot better, we arrived at 7pm and left an 8pm on a Friday night and the place was empty. The food was below par, and Cocktails was not very good. The service could be a lot better. I was asking if I booked a table, which was a bit of a surprise, this should have been the process at the start if someone was on reception.

                                                    Food was excellent , our group ordered curry goat and the jerk lamb chops, food was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Would definitely return. Only comment I would make is that there was only one toilet open on the day (there are more facilities available)

                                                    Food was nice although they didn’t have what I wanted to order. Very noisy as there was an event at king of clubs so music was turned up to drown out the sound. Not ideal at a meal as we had to shout to hear each other. Owner kept us informed to when food was coming. Quick service and lovely waiting staff but way too loud. Loved the birthday treatment. Very thoughtful and made each recipient feel special. I will definitely be back regardless. Hopefully it will be quieter!!

                                                    This was my 2nd time at this restaurant. This time i brought my 89 year old mom with family and friends for her birthday.. The young lady who served us was also lovely and very attentive. The food was hot when it came out which we appreciated The only couple of downside was that the music was really loud and due to this poor mom couldn't hear when we were talking to her and I couldn't have a conversation if you weren't seated right next to me. My jerk chicken was a bit boney and not much meat. Other than that I really enjoyed it.. Mom had the Oxtail and as an old school authentic jamaican lady she really enjoyed it. Cocktails nice too

                                                    Booked a table for 8 people for 7-30 when we ordered the food it was difficult to communicate with staff as the Dj was getting carried away with the volume button. Also there was to many things on the menu not available I am aware that they were busy but this should not happen. Having said that, when we got the food we ordered could not fault the portion size,and taste was top draw so things just need tweaking and they will have very good restaurant.Ali

                                                    I was really looking forward to trying this place because I don’t feel a lot of carribean places get it right, the actual mood in the place is nice, got good music, lay out is beautiful & cocktails are 10/10 however I waited half an hour to be asked about a drink after being seated at a table with a lot of staff walking past our table I think knowing we hadn’t been served yet and didn’t even ask to be honest - they then didn’t have the ingredients for the drink I wanted which took another 10 minutes to be told (however did get a drink on the house)after another 15 minutes we got given our drinks - for then our actual order to be taken, it then took another hour for food to come which isn’t so much of a problem because I guess the food is fresh but my seasoned veg was missed off both roasts and they missed a Yorkshire pudding off another plate which were basically overcooked, personally I like my roast potatoes crispy & fluffy in the middle, potato was still hard so that was disappointing. I know this place has not long opened and I do honestly feel like they have a good thing going but I think service needs to be a lot better, reaction to customers needs to be quicker - overall I do think the team seem like lovely people & do think this place could be flying specially in the summer time! I would definitely go back for cocktails but the food let me down 💔
