   This was my 2nd time at this restaurant. This time i brought my 89 year old mom with family and friends for her birthday.. The young lady who served us was also lovely and very attentive. The food was hot when it came out which we appreciated The only couple of downside was that the music was really loud and due to this poor mom couldn't hear when we were talking to her and I couldn't have a conversation if you weren't seated right next to me. My jerk chicken was a bit boney and not much meat. Other than that I really enjoyed it.. Mom had the Oxtail and as an old school authentic jamaican lady she really enjoyed it. Cocktails nice too

   Booked a table for 8 people for 7-30 when we ordered the food it was difficult to communicate with staff as the Dj was getting carried away with the volume button. Also there was to many things on the menu not available I am aware that they were busy but this should not happen. Having said that, when we got the food we ordered could not fault the portion size,and taste was top draw so things just need tweaking and they will have very good restaurant.Ali

   I was really looking forward to trying this place because I don’t feel a lot of carribean places get it right, the actual mood in the place is nice, got good music, lay out is beautiful & cocktails are 10/10 however I waited half an hour to be asked about a drink after being seated at a table with a lot of staff walking past our table I think knowing we hadn’t been served yet and didn’t even ask to be honest - they then didn’t have the ingredients for the drink I wanted which took another 10 minutes to be told (however did get a drink on the house)after another 15 minutes we got given our drinks - for then our actual order to be taken, it then took another hour for food to come which isn’t so much of a problem because I guess the food is fresh but my seasoned veg was missed off both roasts and they missed a Yorkshire pudding off another plate which were basically overcooked, personally I like my roast potatoes crispy & fluffy in the middle, potato was still hard so that was disappointing. I know this place has not long opened and I do honestly feel like they have a good thing going but I think service needs to be a lot better, reaction to customers needs to be quicker - overall I do think the team seem like lovely people & do think this place could be flying specially in the summer time! I would definitely go back for cocktails but the food let me down 💔

   On arriving we were was seated 45 mins late. When we were allocated our seats they were next to a speaker playing extremely loud music that I had to ask the staff to turn it down as I was unable to have a conversation with my family members opposite me. I was told if the music is turned down then we will hear everyone else's conversation. I asked for a jug of water for the table and I wasn’t asked if I wanted still or sparkling instead I was just given sparkling with only 2 glasses, bear in mind I was with another 3 adults. I asked the staff to change this but this never happened. We had to wait 1 hour for our food to come out and when it did the order was wrong. I had 2 small children with me so you could imagine my frustration as they had not eaten. Once eating our meal it tasted over cooked and burnt. Overall this was a terrible experience, I felt that the restaurant was poorly managed in all areas. The staff looked stressed and barely gave eye contact. I felt that I was hurried out to leave as they needed to clean the table for the next dinners. I am in a customer facing role myself and I believe this is not how to deliver good customer service. Unfortunately based on my experience I will never return to Caribbean and Cocktails.

   Thank you for your feedback. Your booking was for 4, but you arrived with 8. Our team explained there would be a wait due to needing a larger table, which you agreed to. As it was Mother’s Day, we were extremely busy but did our best to seat you as soon as possible. We play music at a moderate level from a small speaker and had no other complaints. We do not serve sparkling water—only tap water or bottled still water for purchase. Our staff would have happily resolved any food concerns if raised politely. Unfortunately, your tone toward our team was disrespectful, and you refused to vacate the table after dining, which disrupted service. Due to your behavior, we won’t be accepting future bookings. We value respect for both guests and staff.

   We celebrated my husband's 40th birthday here last night. The food was amazing, the staff were friendly and to be quite honest the meals are very reasonably priced...unlike Caribbean takeaway shops. I wish I could remember the lady's name who served us, she really took care of us, laughed and joked with us, nothing was a problem for her, she just went above and beyond fromthe time we came til the time we left...to that lady, Thank you!!! We valued your service, and I hope the restaurant does too because of your fantastic customer care.

   I celebrated my daughter's 40th birthday at carribean and cocktails restaurant on 16th March 2025. It was a fantastic experience. The food was AMAZING !! The staff was AMAZING!! The staff went the extra mile to make sure everyone and everything was just right. It was service with a smile and attention to every detail. A very big thank you to Sasha and all the staff for making this a memorable experience. I will recommend and I will return. 10/10

   Honestly I’ve never been to such a pleasant place to eat before the staff was amazing! Esp the girls behind the bar and the food was unreal 10/10 to the chefs! Amazing! The vibes are next level…best place I’ve eaten from! Keep up the good work staff!

    Loved it, will deffo be returning, food was great, service was great too! Romae was lovely. Would recommend!
