Chicken was different from when we came in march, it was wings or a leg. Service was slow too. Was much better in march.

I ate at Cardero’s with my mom for my birthday dinner. What an amazing location. I was very impressed with the beautiful views of the marina from the patio. We shared the tuna tataki appetizer and loved it. The tuna melted in your mouth and paired well with the pickled daikon, edamame, avocado, and grapefruit. My mom ordered the sesame-crusted tuna and I had the linguine vongole. The tuna was perfect; my mom especially loved the sauce it came with. The clams were delicious; the white wine butter sauce was scrumptious and tasted great with the cherry tomatoes. Our server was such a funny guy and made our experience even more memorable. At the end of our meal, I was surprised with a birthday dessert! It was such a cute gesture. We had a wonderful time and it made my birthday that much more special!

Great meal and great service out on the patio. Server was friendly and attentive but not too attentive...which was great. Had halibut and sablefish as our mains...both were top notch. Tuna tataki as starter is amazing.

Great location with the best wait staff in town

Came here in 2018, service was great, so we decided to go again last night. Wow this place never disappoints! Service is great, the food is amazing, and we requested a seat my the window (for the view) and they put us right by the window! We ate the linguine vongole with 1lb of clams and we also got the special with fish, lobster sauce and veg, which was amazing! Good local beers on tap and cute atmosphere.

Staff were welcoming and courteous. All wore masks. Tables were well spaced. Our server was attentive and answered all our questions. Food was perfect with no surprises. Definitely recommend.

I have been going to Cardero’s for over 30 years! Every lunch/dinner in that time, has been outstanding. My fav, cedar plank salmon, but everything on the menu is delicious!! In this new age of Covit 19, Cardero’s did a fabulous job with physical distancing, masks on staff, without taking away from the ambiance. I have not eaten in a restaurant in 31/2 months, and Cardero’s was my first choice!!!! So happy I did!!!!

The food was good - as a vegan, my options were limited, but I enjoyed what I had and my sister loved her salmon. The best part was the service - our server was so genuine and friendly, and she really made the experience special.

Great birthday dinner

First time dining out since the start of COVID-19 pandemic. Met my brother and his wife for dinner (extending our bubble) again a first, had a wonderful time. Great food, great service had a fantastic dinner.
We’ll be back.

Great first higher end dinner out since restrictions have began to lift. Server was perfect and added a complimentary desert out of the blue, much to our delight. The distancing of tables was ideal and allowed for a nice quieter dining experience and prompt service.

Amazing food, amazing service and despite the covid requirements we still felt very safe and comfortable!

Everything was great except my friends avocado in the Buddha bowl was too hard to eat. My burger and fries was excellent.

Excellent job with stringent guidelines. I felt safe and catered to. The food was great, as always, even on a limited menu.

Kathy provided exceptional service, and the Sangria was so good we came back for more later that evening.
We only had the appetizers, but it left us all full.

Table location (patio versus inside) is first-come first-served regardless of any requests made on the reservation. So if you're going for the patio, keep in mind you may have to wait 1-2 hours after your reservation time for a table. Food is just okay for the price. Service is otherwise pretty good.

Servers were awesome, friendly and attentive. There was a mix up for the seating (a couple got seated in the table being set up for us). I clearly saw this, and there was so communication or apology for the further delay.

With all that is going on it is still number one for me in Canada

Proper precautions were in place for social distancing. Masks were worn by all of the employees. The entire evening was a real treat.

Very professional & safe operation under the new social distancing guidelines. All the tables were spaced apart correctly & the staff all wore masks. Even customers very understanding & followed the rules without complaint. As for service & food quality, both excellent as usual.

Had a reservation for 8, asked for a window seat in my reservation request because it was our 25th wedding anniversary. Got a table in the middle. A couple was seated after us in the middle as well but they were moved to an open table by a window When they asked. Little disappointed it wasn’t offered to us, nor did they do anything special for our anniversary. The keg will bring you a free dessert, nothing special at Cardero’s for our 25th anniversary, just disappointing for our very special milestone.

Great food and service, it was a lovely night. The view of the sunset was very nice.

Everything was very good, as I've already stipulated. The service was friendly and courteous. The waiter knew the answers to all the questions we had. The pace of service was just the way we like it, not too fast, not too slow. The meals were all very good, tasty, plentiful portions, good presentation. We would definitely return when we're in Vancouver.

We were very well attended to by Daniel. An excellent experience.

Vege burger wasn’t special, it’s obviously a freezer patty, but the fries were really good and everyone else seemed to enjoy their food.
