   Unfortunately, I was less than pleased with this establishment. The receptionist was rude upon the first guest of my party arriving. We requested to move tables as we were sat by the bathrooms and had many people approach us with frustration of the request. Stating there were other reservations. I too had made a reservation; therefore I was confused as to why our party was any different than the other reservations of identical or similar size. The food was expensive and extremely bland; although the presentation was immaculate. The ambiance was beautiful, with live music bringing a fresh, classic, high end feel to the atmosphere. You are definitely paying for the hotel restaurant experience and ambiance.

   Carcara was a fantastic dining experience. Our server was so nice and attentive, the ambiance was wonderful (buzzing with conversations and music but not overwhelming), and the food was absolutely delicious. Right now (May 2025) they've got Al Pastor Meatballs under Beginnings on their dinner menu. That's a must try. I had their Wild Barramundi, which comes with this grapefruit and tarragon butter over a bed of asparagus and it was absolutely worth it. Definitely a downtown Phoenix restaurant worth trying - either for a special occasion or to just treat yourself!

   This restaurant was not busy at the moment when we were there. There were probably three tables that had patrons. We never saw the waitress. They never took away our dirty plates, when we asked for a refill on our water, she took the huge picture and put it in the middle of the table. The atmosphere and the food was nice. The service needs improvement.

   It’s become a favorite dining spot when we’re in downtown Phoenix. Perfect peaceful setting in the City with great service and really good food.

   Overall great restaurant! I enjoyed the Al Pastor Meatballs and the The Phoenix cocktail. I am a big fan of the concise menu and the great customer service. The restaurant layout is very nice and they have a nice outdoor patio dining area.

   We had a great Mothers' Day buffet brunch. Our server (Jazz) was totally on top of everything, checking with us often and keeping our table in tip-top shape. Everything we ate was excellent - if there was any disappointment it was the limited seafood offerings. That aside, everything was beautiful and kept fully stocked and fresh. Would definitely visit again!

   Service was mid, our server took forever to get me a refill on my coffee and the mimosa was almost all oj. The food was mid, my green chili plate came w cold flour tortillas that should’ve been warmed but they appeared to come straight out of the refrigerator. The best thing about this place was the ambiance, very welcoming and beautiful surroundings. Lovely outdoor seating when weather allows. Also the food portions or servings sizes were a little miserable for the price.

    Carcara has a gorgeous setting, especially the stunning tree at the center of the dining room. The food was very good, and service was fast and efficient. Unfortunately, our experience was soured by inconsiderate seating decisions. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, we were seated between two disruptive families—one with a screaming baby and the other with a child loudly eating an outside-brought ice cream bar. It was impossible to hold a conversation, and it felt like no thought was given to the guest experience when assigning tables. This could be a fantastic dining spot, but I’d recommend asking to be seated away from other parties if you’re hoping for a peaceful meal.
