We were pleasantly surprised by the great food and pleasant atmosphere. The menu was limited but we tried several options that were all delightful. I hesitate to write this review because I don’t want to have to compete for a table in the future. We definitely will make an effort to return

We had a large group reservation and even though we were running about 15 minutes late, they held our table and were super attentive. Even casually pushed us along to order our meals before the kitchen closed without being over the top pushy, we appreciated it! The food was great, we ordered 2 boards, 6 of the small plates and a bunch of entrees and were all very happy! I think it is great that for those that didn't want wine, they tried to accommodate. Over all experience was great and we will definitely go back!

The food, drinks, and service were excellent. I would suggest not sitting near the back though...a door opens to the place next door (they are one place actually, I think), and that place is VERY loud.

The food and wine were amazing! Great value at an affordable price, especially in a resort town! When the door to the saloon next door was open, it was quite noisy, but once it was closed, we could enjoy our conversation more.

I wasn’t so sure when I walked in if we’d made the right choice. The place is small and seemed crowded. That was not our experience at all. Our table was waiting and was very comfy for our party of 8. Our waitress was really sweet and provided great service. Everyone in our party really enjoyed their choice from the menu. We would definitely return to this unique little restaurant!

We LOVED this place! Darby is AMAZING! The cheese and meat board was wonderful and the main dishes - the pork shank and the braised rib (?) were very flavorful with generous portions. The desserts are very nice - just the right size. Not so big that you pay a ton of $ for too many calories. The wine is very good. This is a nice little "hole in the wall" and we intend to visit it every time we go to Breckenridge. Oh - and did I mention Darby? She is amazing! ;-)

Fun selection of wines. Had a red and a white flight. All were drinkable. Loved the Syrah and Sauv blanc!

We had onion soup, curried cauliflower, and burrata which were all very good. Had chocolate truffles and creme brulee for dessert. Also very good.

There was one server for the entire place and she was very efficient!

What a great find! They make their own wines, and I loved the rose. My son tried four of the reds and also gave them the thumbs up. The menu is fun, and the food was delicious. The wine tacos are not to be missed.

Carboy Winery was FANTASTIC! We happened to pick the one night they weren't busy and there was no one else in the restaurant. So our service was great (shout out to Darby)! There were 4 of us, we all ordered something different and everyone's food looked wonderful. In true winery fashion, they had great meat & cheese boards and wine flights, and everything was super affordably priced. I will be back!

Great food, great wine, and great location in the middle of Main Street in Breck. Though the food menu was limited, all options had broad appeal and were very good. With entrees priced around $15 and a range of wine options, quality dining experience at reasonable price.

Ann and the crew were amazing as always. Carboy is my new favorite spot after skiing for a late lunch and wine. I highly recommend the tacos!

I also ended up bringing some wine home a couple of weeks ago as Xmas presents for some friends. It was nice to share a story with them and some yummy wine.

I wrote a GLOWING review last month. I could not wait to take my family here tonight for a birthday dinner. I've been raving about this place since we were last here. Tonight, it was snowing. So we called ahead, spoke to someone who said they would be open until 8:30pm. It was 7pm. Made a reservation for 7:30pm. Showed up a few minutes early to be greeted by a nasty waitress who basically told us they were closing in 30 minutes. I said oh we made a reservation and called ahead. I explained how excited we were for the "culinary experience" we had last time with the pre fixe. She then made us feel extremely uncomfortable. We sat down and were like hmm maybe we should go elsewhere? But she assured us all would be well. My family owns a restaurant and this was the worst dining experience of my life. The chef got our order and actually said out loud within earshot "are you kidding me?" And proceeded to pout and not start cooking. I then said to the waitress basically we could cancel our order as this is basically an epic disappointment. And she assured us again that all was well. Then 5 mins later the chef was staring us down endlessly. The most uncomfortable dining experience. She never checked on us. Our water glasses were empty all night. The food was awful. The burger was over cooked. The salmon and chips were disgusting and the waitress even asked how the food was and it was obvious we didn't eat it and nothing was taken off the bill. Meanwhile we were here to show our family how wonderful this place was. If I were the owner, I would be extremely embarrassed by this behavior. A waste of $200. We will never recommend this place again. I had told everyone I knew about this and the one night we spent in Breckenridge was ruined. It was as if they were enjoying it. Thanks a lot!

I was expecting more of a wine bar feel, but it was attached to a saloon, so the ambiance was wrong. The food just wasn't very tasty. We had a cheese board which was fine. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing special. We split a salad with gnocchi, and it was really odd. Lot's of soggy lettuce and some fried gnocchi, it just didn't work well. We also had short ribs, and they were not very flavorful, though the potatoes were tasty. Overall just a very meh experience.

The food and service were good and the four course dinner with wine pairings was an exceptional value. Our issue was the noise level. The kitchen is shared with Gold Pan Saloon and there is a flimsy door that separates the two venues. The door was open for a good portion of our meal and the partying noise was highly annoying. My husband and I had to yell at each other to hear what we were saying. The table next to us seemed to be having the same issue. The food and service, which was good, could not make up for the fact that we felt we were in a club.

This is a fantastic little place! It's a smaller restaurant with an energetic atmosphere. The staff was very pleasant and just the right amount of sociable. The food and wine were perfectly paired and prepared. I will recommend this place to everyone! If you have enough time to have a few glasses of wine and work a puzzle, ask for their wooden wine contraption :)

We are really glad we gave this place a try! We have found a new favorite. The food was great. My husband and daughter both had the burger and said it was one of the best they have eaten—and they eat a lot of burgers! I had the salmon and chips which was quite good. The Brussels sprouts were notable and worth ordering as was the burrata. Though we didn’t get a wine flight flight, there are a variety to choose from and they will let you try any wine before ordering a glass to make sure you like it. Overall, a really great find and we will be back again.
