Great place with a really good atmosphere. If you fancy something a bit different then this is the place to be. We had lunch and couldn’t fault it.
I met a friend for dinner on a Friday night. The place was buzzing. Cool decor and fun vibe. We shared a bunch of small plates. Everything was very nice. Our fave was. The broken lamb meatballs. Yummm!
I’ve previously been to Caravan in Kings Cross and Bankside. This branch is just as great. The food is delicious & healthy. I love that you can share all the dishes. We had 3 small plates & 1 big plate between 2 of us. Highly recommend corn bread and cod dumplings.
We went for an early lunch. It was completely full by 1 but atmosphere was still very relaxed.
Will be going again at first opportunity!
Food was great, lovely for a nice dinner with friends
Great vegan options 😋💚
Great location, lots of space, good for a group, great selection of healthy food.
The food was great, but we had only 90 mins at our table - which I wasn’t aware of on booking. The bill was put on our table bang on 90 mins. It didn’t result in a welcome feeling. It was also heaving - hence high sound levels So while the food was good, I’m unlikely to choose to come back, I’d pick somewhere with less turnover.
The food was absolutely delicious, however, mine was cold and when I kindly asked for this to be warm, there were no apologies :( which is slightly disappointing! The food was great though and the venue is gorgeous!
Fantastic food, great atmosphere.
There were 3 occasions where I had to stand up and ask to order a drink.
Other than that it was a delightful experience.
great place to go for brunch
really good selection and some unusual very tasty options. The corn bread with eggs and avocado is absolutely delicious.
Have been several times and always excellent standard
staff are lovely and super friendly without being too intrusive
always book for weekend brunch as it gets very busy
Very wide range of food from many places, and yet nothing quite great about any of it. Spread too thin?
fantastic host on arrival and brilliant and attentive service throughout. food was great as always and would certainly come back again
Difficult to say if I would recommend as the food was good but the service was horrendous making the whole experience less than satisfactory.
The service was painfully slow. My main was cold.
Starters very good. We waited absolutely ages for the mains to arrive and when they did they were cold.
Waitresses were lovely.
Good location and great for brunch with friends...odd that they couldn't fulfil request of my friend to have no-yolk eggs.
We visited Caravan Fitzrovia for brunch on a Sunday morning. It had a good buzzy atmosphere. The menu is great - good variety. We ordered a few dishes to share. Highlights were the overnight oats - delicately balanced and really refreshing and the shakshuka - packed full of flavour and a good size portion. Will definitely be returning!
I think this place is fairly recently opened and definitely has teething issues. The caravan restaurant in Kings Cross is great so was expecting it to be equally as good. Basically they forgot to bring several of our dishes ( but still put on the bill!) pizza was cold , and rest of food was ok but nothing special . We are not huge eaters but actually came home hungry! Best thing was the chips! It was also freezing in there and we we were told it was bcs they were waiting for someone to come and fill in some bricks ! So we sat in our coats !
I have been really impressed with Caravan Fitzrovia with respect to the food since I first visited in May 2019. Since then I have been back a few times, and recommended heartily to friends.
My last visit: 26th Oct 2019 (booking at 1030) left me with a bitter taste which signals the end of my visit and recommendation. We were not told at the start that our table is only for 90 mins and when we found out at the end and commented that we should have been told from the onset re table availability, we were being 'reminded' that it was all written out in the Terms and Conditions when we made the reservation.
I revisited the additional notes in the booking email, and the statement did not in any imply that we would know how long our table is for. It only mentioned that if our table has a next booking, we will be informed. And that's what we were asking for: being given ample time so that we can ALSO plan our time properly. This is only fair as the paying customer.
We are not contesting the return of the table, only the MANNER which we were informed of such. In all previous visits, I would not say the service was excellent, but this time it's simply quite unacceptable.
Love the food at Caravan, esp the great veg options.
The most stunning food. We went for mostly vegan options to try which were simply delicious. I cannot wait to go back and try more things on the menu!
A completely original menu...mostly very heathy but very tasty too
Their coffee is one of the best in London and can be explained by their resident barista in all the choices
Finally...they sell Kombucha....and that makes me happy
Nice place with good decor. Our benches were very dirty and stained though. This is def a breakfast/brunch place with not many items on the menu besides egg focused ones. Pizzas are available. Very good service but the music was too loud and, as almost always, unnecessary.
Lovely place for brunch. Seated by windows and was quite chilly. Loved the chorizo hash and cakes.
I really love the chain Caravan but I wouldn't recommend this location, especially on a weekend. We had booked the table for 1 and when I arrived I was told the table could only be held for 1 hr and 15 minutes! My friends were delayed so that left us with an hour, and then no one came to serve us. It was quite stressful having the time crunch. Our food arrived but sadly not our drinks. It was a busy restaurant but hardly any staff. We ended up going to another restaurant after to have more food and drink without being chucked off the table. Disappointing as I love the Kings Cross branch.
Our server was fantastic; attentive, prompt and above all, human! Food was also excellent
Always fresh, healthy and interesting food. My go to brunch place centrally locates and away from the tourists & shopping. An oasis of calm. Good service for my table of 6. Seems the food portions have slightly reduced. Still love the coffee and kombucha.
We went for brunch for my birthday. The food was amazing and the staff even better. They were friendly and so attentive and would stop to have a chat and a laugh with us. Really made the experience incredible.
I wanted to order everything on the menu. Would definitely go back. The staff are super friendly and service was great!
I’m a regular would be nice to see the menu change more frequently. Other than than that food and service is great 👍
lovely sunday lunch and afternoon with friends but it was a bit noisy - thanks to our waiter who was so helpful with food and wine choices
I have never been in this Caravan but I loved as in all the other branches. Delicious food, nice atmosphere and lovely staff as always!!!
Loved the ambience and the light room. Easier than than the Caravan Kings X as not so chaotic and loud. Great attentive staff.
Really good food and always very nice and caring staff!
Went for brunch - good vegetarian options - great decor and tasty food !
This is a buzzing restaurant bar where the staff could not be more helpful. The food was OK but could have been hotter.
A lively place with a pleasant ambience and tasty (if not refined) food. Will definitely go back. Good for business catch up with informal backdrop
Very interesting, creative, nice food. Very friendly staff. Thanks for a very nice experience. We’ll be back.
Large venue with great vibe, casual and relaxed. Staff were very friendly and polite. Food was great too with lots of interesting choices.
We had such a tasty brunch, excellent start to our day out in London, really friendly staff too. We will recommend to everyone
