We were celebrating our friends show and we felt like we were the only people in fabulously busy city – the noise was a little much at times, but we did ask for a table in the middle of the restaurant, so we deserved it! Service was fairly perfunctory. Brunch food was decent, small portions for the money, coffee good. Kitchen mixed up our order and we had to ask different staff a few times what happening. There was no clear person in charge and no-one came to advise us what had happened or what they were going to do. It was sorted out in the end and we were given a small discount. Clear communication would have improved our experience.

Inattentive staff. Had to find someone to order drinks and then again to order our food. Took ages for someone to come to our table to welcome us and ask if we wanted to order a drink, water or needed a menu! 3 main dishes arrived at the same time when we have specifically asked for them to come separately.

I have been to Caravan at Bank, and I have to say the food was much better. I ordered the mackeral, and it was a lot smaller than I remember. The fries were also warm. In general, I like the concept of Caravan, so I will put this particular experience down to a one-off.

First off, the service here was exceptional; really standout for London. Loved the ambience, all low lit with foliage as table barriers and soft surfaces to absorb noise. Caravan Fitzrovia created a truly pleasing dining experience. As for the food, it's all about the fantastic and creative pizzas. My wood-fired speck pizza with egg, puddles of baked garlic and pools of melted Taleggio was incredible. We all loved the fried tofu appetiser. I thought my pizza was superior to the more expensive fish plates that also arrived at our table. I will definitely return.

Had a delicious meal at Caravan, Fitzrovia with excellent, attentive service. It was a sunny evening so we asked if we could eat outside and they reorganised tables to enable this to happen. Food was freshly prepared and excellent with a really interesting menu. Will definitely go back.

We felt a little rushed to order when the venue seemed fairly quiet. We were friends catching up after a long time and the interruptions were irritating If the table was booked it would have been easy for the staff to. explain etc. The menu was also limited on the website it had the full menus

The brunch menu was lovely on Saturday, as were the fresh juice. The waiters/waitress always checked in on us and asked if we needed anything. We sat outside, but the inside looked spacious and had a nice atmosphere.

As a vegetarian I really like the unusual delicious dishes available at Caravan. I love to try lots of things so the small plates are perfect for me, and there is such a good choice of vegetarian options available, not the standard 1 or 2 as per a lot of restaurants. I felt they were a little over staffed when we were there as our table was checked too frequently and the plates cleared a bit too quickly. I will be back, just for the tofu dish if nothing else! Yum

Poor service although there seemed to be quite a lot of staff milling around. The food is nice, and although it arrived relatively quickly our table seemed to be invisible to everyone working there for ordering extras/teas/drinks etc. Had to ask 3 times for milk for my tea and eventually went and got it myself only for 2 jugs of hot milk to arrive about 15 minutes after the tea. Not quite on the ball I felt, I'm sure not indicative of their usual service

The food is consistently good across the board, service is mixed in the usual London way (I.e. hopeless beyond the basics of taking your initial order and bringing you your food), the atmosphere is always good and value overall average.
