Great food, nice coffee, comfortable place. One staff member friendly, one very taciturn, which was a bit off-putting.

I’ve been toa few of the other Caravan’s however this one was a bit purer. The plates had way less ingredients in them and waitress was extremely slow and rude. Place is very good looking though.

Always have a great experience at Caravan Bankside. Felt very nice and well taken care of and during these times social distancing was well managed aswell.

Long time customer and happy to go in after lockdown. Mexican cornbread was beyond excellent, but avo/eggs was screwed up (no egg!) and it took a long time to correct. Waitress was nice about it, but seemed service was a bit undertrained (maybe new people?)

I'll be back for sure, and hope it will be perfect next time.

Good brunch menu, nice ambiance. Service was below par, there was a wedding party that unfortunately took up most staff. We had to wave multiple times to get more orders in, we received our food before the drinks. Also we ordered a white wine, got a red - wine delivers apparently delivered the wrong wine. Not impressed with the service.

We had a great evening at Caravan. The food was fantastic - I would recommend the sweet potato/charred broccoli/black bean dish, as well as the ice-cream espresso salted caramel icecream. The cocktails were also really good, especially the Chef's margarita. The staff were friendly and the cleanliness level was excellent - you could tell they really cared for the safety of their customers. I'll be back there after lockdown!

Service was a bit slow, food was filling and full of flavour!! We got a pizza and a salad which we shared!! Would go again!!

I ordered the smoked salmon with scrambled eggs and it was horrible. The tinned salmon was stale and the restaurant was hot with little air circulation - I think air conditioning is essential, especially now while we are in an pandemic.

Good food but presentation was poor and not food value for money. The brunch menu is not as good as the every day menu. I had high expectations but was a bit disappointed

Big fans of Caravan. Usual excellent standard of food and service. Both had the chorizo hash. The Margarita with a twist was a perfect accompaniment. Shared the orange cake with salted caramel sauce and mascarpone which was amazing.

Went on a weekday for breakfast. Had been to the branch in Kings Cross but definitely prefer this one!
Service was excellent! Food was lovely. One of the best looking interiors I’ve seen in a long time.

Amazing food. But served lukewarm. Staff and servers were late to take orders yet seemed busy with tasks beyond a half empty restaurant. Still, irregardless of when served lukewarm or hot, this place is a gem.

Some waiting staff assumed wearing a mask with nose exposed was best Covid practice. Food itself was overpriced for what was on offer. Coffee has definitely gone down hill since the early days

Great service, great food. Sadly it was quiet on Friday night because of Tier 2 restrictions, but still a bit of atmosphere. V comfy seating, good drinks menu.

It was ok, although I was a bit disappointed as the dish I order wasn't as the delicious one I had in King´s Cross Caravan. I didn't come with yoghurt either.

This was an unexpected treat. We were looking for somewhere with a bit of atmosphere for lunch after a visit to Tate Modern and this fitted the bill perfectly. I was worried it would be too quiet on a grey Wednesday afternoon but there were definitely enough people to give it a bit of buzz. The service was great, Covid measures were all in place and the food was very good - the Jalapeno Cornbread was a particular highlight. We were really happy with our visit.

A really enjoyable lunch. Tough for restaurants to create they're usual environment with Covid restrictions playing their part, especially when it comes to atmosphere and interaction with staff. That said, Caravan have done a good job - will be back.
