Great food and atmosphere, service was a little slow but that was easily put down to how busy it was! Went there with four other people and we all found something we liked, good variation in the menu.

Family friendly, lovely staff. Food is excellent quality and a good variety on the menu for both kids and adults.

We loved our visit to Captain Americas. Our table was ready when we arrived, we were well isolated from everyone else. The service was fast, the staff friendly and helpful, the food excellent and the pints were just delicious!! We go here every Christmas and we'll definitely be keeping that tradition going.

One of the servers (didn't get her name unfortunately) was very kind to my son as he was a little sad when the nachos were taken away (he wanted to keep the left overs) so she brought him down a box of nachos, he was chuffed.

The staff were absolutely amazing ! We had two young girls serving us and couldn’t have been more happy!! The food was gorgeous and the cocktails were amazing!!

WE TRAVELLED OVER 200 KILOMETRES FOR THEIR CHICKEN WINGS AND IT WAS WORTH IT !!

I think you need a new door man because the one that night wasnt very pleasant,as we approached the door his first words were 'your not getting in without a booking',when I told him i had a booking his reply was 'show me',when I showed him his next response was 'your not coming in if you dont have a mask',literally all of us were in the process of putting our mask on,I had organised for my employees a night out and we had been to the thomond bar and the woolshed beforehand and the difference in customer service was astounding,we didnt stay in captain Americas,we went in and sat down but as we talked about the way we were treated at the door we decided to leave as we all felt unwelcome,I'm a frequent visitor to the restaurant with my kids and had always enjoyed it but really after that night I dont think I would go back again.

Waiting over 50 mins for food....pizza was returned as burned.....overall disappointing

We always eat in here as a family. The service was fantastic as always. We were waiting an appropriate amout of time considering how busy the restaurant was at the time - Christmas period on a Saturday evening. We had an enjoyable experience as always. Our favourite familt spot.

Fabulous as always. We were served by Megan who was absolutely amazing, so friendly and helpful. Food was delicious, portion sizes generous and the ambiance was superb.

Great food, great staff, affordable. Very clean. Toilets well stocked with antibacterial soap.

Love coming here , but unfortunately not it’s best night for food when we were there this weekend ( burgers cold ) put service was good 😌

I have to compliment the wait staff, they were excellent ,so on the ball and super professional. The chicken wings are lovely, however the burger I had was ok,bit cold and chips were soggy. My partner had chicken fajitas which we had to send back as they arrived cold which was a shame. Over good value. Was quite when we visited but seems to be very busy with take-out orders which probably explains the wait for food.

Id go back just for the wings, they were good

Customer service woeful. Never felt treated with more disdain by restaurant staff. Burgers were burnt. Huge queue to pay at the end. No customer respect. McDonald’s is better!

We booked a table for 7:30 we arrived and our name wasn’t on booking sheet. We got a table and then we’re told it’s a different menu all together which had 1 item basically no option. Nobody informed us about prior to being seated so we left. Only good thing were staff were friendly. Other then that and absolute joke.
