I love the relaxed feel of this place. It was great to have a relaxed family meal in safety after such a long time. I definitely would return to try more dishes.

Food was good as always. Service was poorer than usual. We were waiting for 30 mins after finishing our meal for our plates to be cleared and to be offered dessert or more drinks, so we gave up and left.

We had a reservation for 2 people at 17:15 on Sunday. We were met at the door by the service staff and they took us to our table.
The table was sanitized prior to us eating.
We had the Nachos and Chicken wings and the portions were very generous and very tasty. We absolutely loved them. We had the Tiger beer and Paulaner beer, outstanding fresh , crisp beer.
The waitress we had at our table was friendly , funny and great fun and made it an excellent experience.
I would certainly recommend Captain Americas and will certainly be back.

From the moment we arrived our waitress made a fuss out of the birthday girl, she enjoyed that so much. The service was excellent and the food was lovely. Thank you!

We are all in difficult times and completely understand all businesses trying to find their feet but captain americas has definitely lost their touch. It had been my first time there in a long time and the place was almost the same( not in a good way) same paint on the walls, same worn away floor and shabby booths and tables. No update or modernisation at all!
There were a few hiccups, no coke was available (although if i were a manager i would have sent some1 to the local shop. Its suppose to b an 'american' restaurant and it ran out of the most popular drink?)
The milk given to my 6year old daughter was definitely turning, it tatsed sour. My husbands pint had absolutely no head at all on it, and i just didnt get that amazing american feel from the food.
It seemed to me like captain americas has lost its mojo!!
Social distancing was adhered too and even though staff were stressed the lovely young girl who served us was apologetic for the short comings.
I cant say never again will i return because it was always a fave of mine as a teenager but defo revamp is needed!!
Thank you!!

Pity the meal deal menu is gone and the ability to chose a starter portion of wings. The portion for €15 is very large.

We had a great time at captain americas! The food was lovely and the drinks were flowing! The service was great we were served by a young girl with long finger hair and she was so accommodating and friendly. The wings and nachos were so nice. Would definitely recommend

On arriving at the restaurant we were greeted by the server and lead to a table and serviced quickly which was great, the service itself was great, to be honest, cannot complain about that. My issue was regarding some members of staff either not wearing their masks correctly or not at all in some cases. In a place where food is served its imperative that face ware is worn correctly at all times. This needs to be addressed

The girl originally taking our order was fantastic couldn’t be more helpful. But one of the staff on the floor was on top of us took half a drink and over half a dessert off the table the minute put put a fork down she was over to take everything away. Mind you we where well within our time limit. Kept taking off her mask and touching her face and rubbing her eyelash extensions. We will never return and never recommend captain America’s to anyone again.

Had booked Elephant & Castle only to turn up and find that it was Captain America’s. Complete mis-sell on the website and acknowledged by the local staff. Did not stay for dinner.

Really enjoyed the meal at Captain Americas. Kids thought it was great fun.
Atmosphere was a bit subdued due to lack of music etc(no fault of establishment).
Serving staff were excellent and good fun.

We felt safe with all the covid safety measures put in place, staff were friendly but efficient and the food and soft drinks were really good and well presented. I would recommend a trip here.

We were met by a security guard on entering with an extremely serious demenaour and an attitude problem
I showed the booking on my phone at which point he grabbed my phone and scrolled throught it which was inappropriate.
None of the staff were wearing face coverings which was also quite unnerving.

3 items we picked from the menu were not available, asked for a Tiger beer was told they had not got any and then told they had but weren't cold. Tried ordering Nachos and were told again that they were unavailable. Got the Caesars salad which was just a load of leaves in a bowl. Asked for the chocolate cake and they came back again apologising as they were out. The service was good but the unavailability of items advertised was embarrassing.

Had a table booked for 9:15. We were told there was people still at our table that we would have to wait a few minutes. After 5 minutes a waiter brought us upstairs to “ speed up the process”. We were put on the rooftop area. We Had our order taken and our food came out before our drinks. We told the waiter who brought our food we were waiting on drinks and she said she would sort it. 5 minutes went by and still no drinks. There wasn’t even water on the table. There wasn’t even salt and pepper on the tables. I had to go to the bar to complain. Our drinks finally came out 30 minutes after we got there. The waitress apologised and said she would knock 10% off but it was only a small bill anyway as we only had starters and drinks. Also if you are going to put people on the rooftop area ( where they didn’t want to be in the first place) you should tell them there is a possibility of bar staff coming out to smoke. As 2 non smokers we weren’t happy when some of your staff came out and started smoking. We always enjoyed captain americas for food and drinks but after this I don’t think we will back. We were looking forward to a night out after lockdown but we didn’t enjoy it at all. I don’t think we would have been treated this badly if we were sat in main restaurant. If you are going to put people seated upstairs at least have more than one person up there making drinks and taking orders.

Casual setting reasonable food and reasonable prices. Very busy though and full of people. We were seated at a table in front of the door though and by the cash register so lots of people passed us by the entire time and even stood beside up while we were eating as they had to queue to pay. The tables in front of the entrance/exit should not be there for this reason.
