   We had great food, even though they were out of trout. In addition however, no bread was delivered that day to Caprice. I love their bread and oil brought to the table. However, we weren’t given a small appetizer or anything to compensate for the lack of bread that day.

   The ambience was quite loud to the point conversation was hard to hear within my party. Food was slow to coming out and once it arrived it was not even room temperature and was just quite bland. Not anything the online menu said it would be. Not going back again.

   As always: Excellent service top to bottom. Patio seating on a warm evening was very comfortable with fans and misters. Food never disappoints. Baby squid appetizer over polenta was great. Trout entree was also excellent. Fabulous overall experience.

   What a horrible experience I had at Caprice Cafe! I made reservations on open table for noon for a patio table for two. When I arrived, I was told they booked another reservation for our table at 1:15 so we had to leave by then. By 12:45 they were already pushing us to vacate the table, bringing the check and asking us if we needed to go boxes. We were still eating! By 1:00 they came by asking us to please pay as the 1:15 guests had already arrived. To make matters worse, in my haste to pay and get hustled out of the restaurant, I left my credit card. I called later that day and was told they had my card. As I live 40 miles away I asked if they would send it to me? They agreed to. Today, six days later, I called to check to see if they had sent it. They had not and said they don’t send cards and has no idea who would tell me they would. I asked to speak with a manager and Ryan told me he would talk to him and get back to me “in a day or two”! Needless to say, I will not be returning!

    Cozy restaurant. Service was great. Food was just okay. Braised short rib was heavily blackened swimming in a burgundy colored pool with gritty polenta. Lamb chops weren't cleaned enough. Cheese plate was good.

    The patio street side setting in the fresh air is my favorite way to dine on a lovely day. Caprice does this so well. Coupled with good food, beautiful presentation, and attention to detail, it is always a treat to go there for a special occasion. The wait staff were attentive though a bit harried because I think they were one person down. Nonetheless they rose to the challenge and I appreciated it.

    We ordered the special, mahi mahi served over silky smooth pureed parsnip, with sauteed eggplant and snap peas. It was delicate and tasty. The service was excellent. We enjoyed dining on the outside covered patio.

    Medium rare stack, blue-blue Shrimp- Waitress let us know that our attempt to order appetizers, that were available got on her nerves. Attempted twice to let management know of the poor service and food, but management not available. Spent over $600 for a party of five. I foolishly tipped poor $120, because I did not want my guess to feel uncomfortable. Waitress didn't deserve tip. A shame, and the management doesn't appear to truly care

    There's patio and inside dining. Inside is very quaint with a large tree center of restaurant with a sky light. There's also a bar with seating inside. We ordered the poblano relleno and burrata salad. The rellano was pretty in presentation but tasteless. The burrata cheese was hard and inedible. Will not be going back.

    Food is usually so good here. Not so fabulous this time, but fine. Worst part was a tiny corner booth next to us that was meant for 2 people, but they crammed 3 people into it, which basically meant we had an extra person at our table. It just felt awkward and weird. Gotta question that decision!

    First, we sat inside and not outside so my review is based on inside dining. I thought everything was lovely. The food and dessert were excellent. Our server was very good. She was polished and professional.

    My first time there. I had gone online and read the reviews before deciding where to go. We really did enjoy our meals and the service was great and we were not rushed. I would recommend dining there.

    We’ve been coming here for years but lately just for lunch or take out. We went for a celebratory dinner this time. Food was delicious—my husband enjoyed the wagyu burger and I love the variety of greens and veggies in the Chinoise salad. Crème Brûlée and Bombe Almonde for dessert we’re delicate and not overly sweet. I have never been disappointed in the food or service. Everything about Caprice is consistently excellent

    Overpriced and not so good food. Husband had a hamburger and I had pasta and meatballs. We both had iced tea and our bill with tax and tip was $70.00. Pricey for nothing special. Had to ask repeatedly for salt and pepper and sweetener for iced tea and coffee. Wait staff was slow, friendly and no follow through. Will not be back.

    Food was well flavored, but the Chicken was very dry, in need of some sauce. Seats were not comfortable, people walking by all the time. Also got rushed out without due courtesy.

    Normally we wouldn’t write a negative review especially since so many restaurants have been suffering with staff shortages, but they don’t seem to be short staffed. We made a reservation but we’re told they were double booked, even though many people left while we waited and many tables appeared to be open. It took 1/2 an hour to finally be seated. I was starving! After that it took another 1/2 an hour until we were eating—so we waited 1 hour until we were able to eat. We ate overpriced sandwiches with a salad that had only lettuce and dressing. We overheard they were out of fries. We spent $65 for 3 people on sandwiches and only drank water! Save you money and your time.

    Always a great time here! Wonderful service and great food! I love the decor and atmosphere.. A great little restaurant for a romantic date or even just to have a friend date.. I highly recommend making reservations especially on the weekends.. Its not a big place so can get pretty busy quick.

    The food was awesome, no complaints there. I had the lasagna which I will most definitely be ordering again. However, we unfortunately chose the wrong night to go(although my husband and I were celebrating our anniversary). The reason being is they were serving from a "graduation menu". I guess due to having larger parties, the full menu was not an option, they were not allowing any menu substitutions and the stake that my husband wanted (he likes his medium-well) we were told that he could only get it medium because that was the only way that they were serving all of their steaks. I've eaten there before and had a good experience which is why I returned for my wedding anniversary. My husband however, was not so impressed. He wasn't pleased with the server, the modified menu, nor the fact that he couldn't order the steak how he wanted. So it may be hard to convince him to give it another try.

    Have eaten here many, many times over past years. Was a favorite! Today, and last visit food was only okay. Historically much better. Service was also okay. Will give it 1 more chance before crossing it off from "go-to" list.
