First time dining here for our 36th wedding anniversary as recommended by my sister. It didn't disappoint. We happen to be in town from Torrance. Would dine again when we're in your neck of the woods. P. S. Our waiter was very helpful with deciding on our dishes and very attentive.

An exceptionally atmospheric restaurant with live plants and a large fig trees whose canapé drapes overhead. The wait staff are handsomely attired in black relaxed uniforms. They are courteous and most helpful with recommendations on an excellent menu. The chef is stellar (one of a kind appetizers, salads, soups, main entrees and desserts) My wife and I have “Date Nights” their regularly

This was my 2nd time eating at Caprice. The food quality is so high which leads to really tasty food. We got the butternut squash risotto, trout, and a salad. We can’t wait to come back!

Our first visit. The food was amazing! The only frustration we had was at the end. It took 20 minutes to get our our receipt and pay. Even after telling the waiter we were ready for our receipt he kept doing other things. And then when he brought it we quickly have it right back and he still did not go and finish it for us. I had to stand up and get ready to leave before he brought it back to us.

It took a while to get someone's attention to help us, but once we asked, everyone was attentive. The menu was varied, and everything we had was presented nicely and delicious. Redlands is a very cute town and this place was packed at 6 pm on a week night.

We have been going to Caprice Cafe for more than 30 years, since it was a wonderful Mediterranean restaurant. When it changed to its current menu, my husband and I continued to enjoy it, but less often because of its expense. I have been to Caprice about 3 times in the last 6 months. Each time, the cafe was “out of” the very items my guest and I wanted to order. The second time it happened, I queried the servers, and they admitted the chefs rarely made those items. Specifically, the two items I recall were the French Onion soup and the pasta salad. Either remove items that the chef no longer wishes to make from the menu or restart having them available.

I own a restaurant Flat Top Bar And Grill over in Riverside California. I look far and wide for another restaurant that makes authentic amazing food that you don’t have to put salt and pepper on or Tabasco to make it taste better. I will say that it’s been quite some time that I have said about another restaurant what amazing food The chef and the owner brought to our table. Not only day. Food was amazing but each one of the cocktails were spot on. Congratulations. #AmazingFood #AmazingDrinks #Redlands.

It was not our usual experience. Asked for the lamb medium rare and they came out like little hockey pucks. Ordered a second order of bread when our entrees were delivered, however, they did not come to the end. It was also awkward watching neighbors at a nearby table receiving bad service. From when they sat it took several complaints to get their ice tea, beer, and salad. It took over an hour for them to get their entrees. To think this is the restaurant I chose to have before I start my cancer treatment; just not a good value for what you pay.

The food here is terrific and the staff are very friendly and kind. The only thing that to me detracts from the experience, and it's an important factor is the repetitive annoying piped in music. It was not pleasant at all and has actually made me re-thing whether I want to go back to this restaurant again which is a shame because everything else is lovely. I'm sure restaurants want to "turn their tables" so they can serve more diners and not have people stay too long once they've finished eating, but the music shouldn't actually make you want to hurry up and eat so you don't have to listen to it anymore. They might want to consider music that is pleasing to all generations and which soothes the soul. Dining should be a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Just my 2 cents and hope it might help as if I try this restaurant again and the music is still awful I won't be returning.

We had a reservation for 215 and arrived at 225. We were unable to find a parking space due to the Redlands bicycle classic event. When we arrived we were told to wait for the hostess and after five minutes of waiting she met us at the door and said the kitchen was closed. When I explained we had reservations, but we couldn’t find parking due to the event, she replied “that’s why we gave you a 15 minute grace period!” and walked away without waiting for a response. Extremely rude service and we will not recommend this restaurant to any of our friends or family.

The restaurant is very good. The location is excellent, the food is very good quality, sometimes the portions might be a bit small (e.g. the braised beed) but at other times they are better sized. The service is also very cordial and competent, in a few occasions it was hard to call for their attention but when given the attention was of excellent quality. Overall I would recommend.

We love the owner, (servers), and the environment- The overall experience is is of a high quality; however, on several occasions, my wife’s favorite meal arrives cool/cold and it is no fault of the server, and/or the atmosphere- we generally dine indoors. Hot meals should arrive at the table hot, most do, Not hers, poblano 🫑…is is on the cold end from the kitchen…!🫤
