Capri Ristorante - Berwyn

My family and I LOVE Capri! It’s our favorite go to restaurant for a family night! This was our first time at the Berwyn location and everything was amazing, like the other locations we’ve been to before. The food was excellent & service was top of the line! Only thing we found to be a little downfall was the spacing of the tables- definitely very small and crowded. Otherwise we LOVED our experience at this location and will be back when we’re back in the area! Thanks Capri!

Our food was delicious and priced reasonably. Our server Jose was great and speaks Spanish as well so he was able to accommodate my families orders.

The service was great. The food was excellent. We were seated right away because we had reservations. It has been a while since we visited but the experience was great.

They were able to accommodate our party of 16. The food was amazing. Very attentive service. We will be back!!

Yet again Capri does it again. Between the food and the service can’t beat this place love it and recommend to everyone. Best Italian meal around, shout out to Jose our server pretty sure his name was as hes the man.

As usual, everything was fantastic! Every bite from the bread to the dessert was delicious. Otto was wonderful,always provides excellent service! We dine here frequently and it never disappoints, highly recommended!!

First time at Capri and we loved it! The lighting is perfect, the staff was attentive, the food was authentic and delicious, with many choices; we look forward to going back, again and again.

We visited for the first time since moving away from the area and Capri is still the same place we loved. The pasta and vodka sauce is delicious as is the tomato sauce. I miss the food here. Excellent fresh fish as well. Excellent cocktails at the bar and the service is outstanding. Ask for Otto to serve you.

Great time at Capri what a way to bring in the new year. Made reservations and waited only 10 minutes to be seated. Had Frankie as a server and he was awesome. Very authentic food with great portions. Would definitely come back thank you for having us

Fantastically delicious

Spectacular find in our neighborhood. Incredible authentic Italian food at extremely reasonable prices. Helpful and friendly staff round out this fabulous dining experience. So enjoyable, we're going to make this a regular stop!

The food was great, but we never got past the appetizers, because the bread, cheese dip, and balsamic mix prior to the meal filled us up! Have to go back to try the risotto. The calamari in the mixed grill was overdone and chewy. Good flavor, though. Will definitely return.

This was our first time at this location. It’s a Very small restaurant- we were seated in the back room behind the bar- which was hard to get to.
Soup was delicious, entree was good.
Service was excellent.

I had the eggplant Parmesan as always and it just wasn’t as good as usual. The menu has changed and some of my favorites are gone.

Small place so a reservation is highly recommended as this place gets packed. Service was a little slow but the food was fabulous. We had linguine with clams and the chicken saltbocca - delicious!

My wife and I have been eating here for years, and it seems to keep getting better every time we eat here. The food is terrific and the waiters are friendly, most of them have been there forever. Whatever I order, it is always delicious Italian food. I bring friends here often and no one has been disappointed. The have a new menu, but the quality of the food just keeps getting better. I wish I could eat here more often.

We had an early dinner prior to seeing Gladys Knight in St. Charles. The food and service was excellent. We did not care for the music and asked our host if it could changed. He had it changed within minutes.

Excellent food and excellent service made for a really fun evening with family/friends. A perfect precursor to a fun night of music next door at FitzGerald’s.

Everything we have ordered on the numerous times we have dined at capri has been delicious.

Capri is one of our go-to places for good food in a comfortable, friendly atmosphere. Last time there we one of us had the pork chop special (delicious), which included the crispy parmesan potatoes (yay!), and the other had Mama's lasagna (can't go wrong). We always come away with enough for a second meal of leftovers! The staff is professional and very friendly. Many of them seem to be family, and they make you feel like you are too! We love it!

We arrived for a pre-concert meal to a quiet scene, with several parties enjoying their early dinners. Once seated, warm bread with two wonderful spreads appeared. While one of our first choices was not available (the lasagna hadn't yet been made by a late-arriving cook, our server Frankie suggested a choice from the "choose a pasta/sauce/meat" section of the menu.

Portions were generous and delicious! Its clear that each dish is made from scratch to order. Capri is an unexpected gem, with food that rivals Randolph Street (outside our front door). We will surely be making it a destination. Thank you!

the service staff is so friendly and attentive. Note: It is very warm temperature wise in the restaurant so wear layers... It is the most authentic Italian I've had in a while. Love this place.

As always the food and service was excellent. Our waiter remembered us from the last time we were there. Amazingly authentic calabrese menu.

We are current and retired Police Officers from the City of Northlake in which we had our 1st taste of
Capri's. The Food is Great and who can say anything bad about Otto our waiter. We get together
at least 3 to 4 times a year and go out with our wives and girlfriends and catch up on current times and
talk about our times on the job. The best was that we could hear each talking and not have to keep saying "can you repeat that". There was 9 of us and all Thanked me for picking Capri's. We will be back!!!

It was ok. We were seated about around 8:25 for our 8:15 reservation, though we did make the reservation online around 7:50. I was mostly frustrated because while we waited in the bar, the hostess kept telling us it would be ready in a few minutes rather than waiting until it would actually be only a few minutes or waiting for the table to be ready.

The fire alarm went off soon after we were seated and we had to wait for the fire department to come to turn it off. This isn't really the restaurant's fault, though setting off the alarm in the first place was. Maybe because of the alarm, or maybe because the waiter didn't write down the drink order, I ended up with a Moretti instead of a Moretti la Rossa. We were almost completely done with our appetizer by the time the waiter came back to take the order for our entree. Maybe I should just be more relaxed about the pace of dinner, but it felt unnecessary to wait that long. When the food came out it also didn't seem fresh off the grill/pan whatever, some sauces seemed to have set a little.

None of these issues by themselves would have been bad but overall they added up to a somewhat mediocre experience. There are plenty of other Italian restaurants for me to try before I come back here.

The food is outstanding. Otto, if you're lucky to get him as the waiter is a total professional. The quality of the food is also outstanding. If you like authentic, you gotta go there.
