Waiter was friendly and attentive. Spinach greens were ordered as an appetizer and were delicious. The shrimp scampi was not as exciting - shrimp was over-cooked and tough. For $25 one of the most expensive meals on the menu, it was disappointing. This was our first time dining at this restaurant.
Everything I was served was delicious! The salad was good, and the seafood stuffed ravioli was amazing. The lemoncello mascarpaone cake was a perfect end to one of the best meals I had in a long time!
I thoroughly enjoyed my first experience at Capri. The food was truly phenomenal! I began with a spinach (?) ravioli entree that was prepared al dente, just as I like. It was very flavorful and not heavy as can often be the case. The Oso Bucco was the best I've had...the meat just fell off the bone...no knife necessary. I appreciate that the dish comes replete with vegetable sides rather than having to order a la carte. That adds to what makes Capri not only a gastronomical delight, but a great value to boot!
This place has me confused. With reservations, we were still placed in line with walk-ins and waited 20 minutes to be seated. Our host used "2 seconds" for everyone as they waited, and "we have room for everybody".
Our waiter did his best on a busy night, but our food was just OK. My fish was not grouper nor was it fresh. The four of us were not impressed with the meals. May have to stick with pasta!
Not in a hurry to get back.
Capri never disappoints...we dine there weekly and are always pleased with the service...food is excellent and it’s a cozy find!
Absolutely wonderful. We go on a regular basis and Capri hits the mark every time. Delicious and authentic.
My wife and I enjoyed a pre-new year eve dinner and simply loved the restaurant. We have enjoyed Italian food in Chicago and New York and Capri did not disappoint. We will return many times.
Great authentic Italian food. Dino is a very hands-on owner who makes sure everyone is taken care of. Cool atmosphere.
Very Pleasant experience
We had a great time at dinner, the food was excellent as well as the service. The owner is very much hands on so things ran smoothly, even though they were extremely busy for the holidays. Highly recommend this old school take on classic Italian food.
This restaurant has the nicest feeling to it. Our waiter was extremely courteous, full of personality and enthusiastic too.
For an evening in which you can actually hear the people you're with, this is the place to go.
On top of all this, the food is quite good.
Thanks, Capri, for a lovely evening.
This was our first visit to Capri, and it was excellent in every way. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was truly outstanding.
Very good price
Very tasty food
Clean and very good srvice
I am writing this to Open Table only. I live in Indianapolis and dine at many restaurants in the area and always try and book through open table. I made my reservation on Saturday afternoon for Saturday evening dining in the bar. Capri did not have my reservation. It seems it was booked for Raleigh, N.C. I am not sure how that occurred because I put # guests, time and Indianapolis in for the reservation. Anyway, it worked out okay, we got a table elsewhere and had a delicious dinner. I do feel I should receive points for the mistake. Just letting you know. Thank you! Karen
I was looking for seafood at a neighborhood place and found Capri. I had the grouper platter and it was cooked just to my liking. Further, there was such a large fillet on my plate that I took half home and had it the next day. The decor is old style Italian, red walls, heavy wood doors. Frank Sinatra was being piped in. a few regular couples were in the dining room.
Always enjoy this neighborhood restaurant with great food and welcoming service
We were warmly greeted. The waiter was helpful. The food was great. Our son requires Gluten Free food. They had lots of options. They brought him Gluten Free Rolls - a real win for him. All-in-all a wonderful meal in a lovely restaurant that was reasonably priced.
Food was good; I had linguine with red clam sauce, my wife had pasta carbonara. Both were solid. Service was attentive, but not intrusive. Atmosphere was very conducive to having a conversation as the noise level was not loud. Reasonable prices. Unpretentious, old school Italian restaurant.
My wife and I went with another couple so we could dine and spend some time catching up. The wait staff worked as a team with all the food coming at once. Our waiter was excellent and gave us very good wine advice. I had the grouper with a wonderful presentation and excellent taste. Half the group wants to return so they can have the grouper next time. We will return to this gem soon.
First time trying Dino's. Great hospitality and food!
Authentic. Delicious. Family business.
Scallops with Linguini was totally awesome!!!
Food outstanding as usual with fantastic service and wine with friends to catch up on the summer.
What more could we ask for?
Authentic Italian food in a warm, welcoming environment. Dino and staff do an excellent job of keeping their customers satisfied.
The food is serviceable - though nothing exceptional, to be honest - but the staff is very nice, and I love the ambience: red walls, small tables with white tablecloths and yellow roses, Sinatra/Dean Martin/Pavarotti over the sound system, the owners talking animatedly with familiar customers, etc. I felt as if I had walked into a restaurant frozen in time!
My first visit to Capri and I was very satisfied. Food was good service was excellent and price was right! I will be back
Excellent food & service. We especially loved the Calamari, the Arugula Park Salad and the Tortellini was such a generous portion we split it.
Excellent food. Authentic Italian dishes. One of the best I've had in Raleigh.
Great food, authentic ambiance. Friendly staff. Very good wine.
Authentic Italian restaurant owned and operated by authentic Italians! Traditional menu with specials, all superbly done. Good wine list. Friendly and nice but not pretentious.
Great service and good food. Try it. You'll like it!
