We were staying at the hotel and it was a good call to try the Grill you also get 300pts with IHG too

We had an out of town guest with us. He ordered a cocktail which was good. Also wine w his meal,however, we had to remind the food manager to serve it. My husband had fish and chips which were served partially cooked. Also since Holiday Inn took over the size of the fish and chips and batter has changed for the worse. Our friend had salmon and vegetables which was by far the best entree we ordered. The bright spot was the desserts. They had a new pastry chef. We ordered a large piece of double chocolate cake that was scrumptious! A somewhat mixed review but we would return.

This restaurant exceeded our expectations. It was almost empty when we arrived. The decor is very plain and utilitarian. They were out of a couple of menus items that we wanted. But the servers were very accommodating and helpful. They went out of their way to get our food quickly since we were on a short timeline. And the food was very tasty.

Had a very nice meal and service in the newly renovated Red Lion restaurant with a name change from Willamette Grill to Capital City Grill. Corkage is good at $10 dollars which fits our budget and allows us to bring in our favorite wine choice for the evening. We shared a Turtle Cheese Cake which was delicious and the other 4 voices looked scrumptious as well. Prices are very reasonable with good choices for all.
