service was amazing, i like foods and the cocktails too.
Best dim sum option on the west side. Order from menus instead of waiting for carts. I especially liked the steamed and baked bao and the chow fun/rice noodles shrimp
Very nice dim sum!
Was hoping that there would be more of a Dim Sum service, they had some Dim Sum on the menu - but thought after looking at pics from Yelp - that there would be more Dim Sum...
Food was pretty good, server was a little distracted.
The other issue - was there was this metal bar - under the table that made my date a little uncomfortable... We mentioned it and my date repositioned herself - I heard other people there mention the bar to their server - it seems like that’s just the way those tables are - 2 positions on each of those tables - you get the bar..... They should do something about that - as I’m sure that they are aware.
Food was amazing and environment and our waiter
Wonderful experience! Foods were outstanding, especially dim sums. Lots of variety... We are definitely going back.
Service and food was great.
We were celebrating FamilyAquarian birthdays...
It was great.
Overall great. Liked the stir fried lobster, Peking duck was more of a Cantonese roast duck but still good, dim sum platter at dinner, string beans were solid, and the black pepper filet mignon cubes. Only slight disappointment was the yang chow seafood fried rice. It came out a bit lukewarm and bland in flavor, required some soy sauce and chili sauce provided. Price wasn’t too expensive considering market price for seafood and duck was a bit pricier. Could consider the crispy chicken as an alternative.
Excellent. Their Alaskan King crab was to die for. They have a water tank in the back and the crab is live not frozen fresh and it makes a big difference in taste. Also they know exactly how to cook it to bring out the freshness. The service is attentive and efficient. This is a place I will go back again and again.
We waited an hour and a half to get our dim sum as everyone around us got served. When one dish arrived, it was cold and frozen inside. No apologies from our absent waitress. Completely disorganized.
Excellent quality for the price. Service a little uneven, mostly due to the servers not being completely fluent in English. On the positive side, that adds authenticity to the experience. We'll go back.
Worst service I've ever had. Ordered 2 appetizers. One came out ok but the next one was sent to wrong table. Had to ask why we hadn't got it. After an hour, had to finally flag down someone to even take our dinner order. Other customer came in after we did and had their meal and left before we were even able to order. When dinner arrived, one of the dishes was wrong. Terrible, terrible service.
The food was very good for a westside Chinese food restaurant and I would definitely come back. The entrees were pretty reasonable (again for the west side) and well prepared. The only complaint, my group of 6 had was the fresh cod (live) was market price and very expensive for a small fish. Nobody told us the price and the fish cost more than all the other dishes we ordered combined. The fish was steamed with ginger and scallions, served with all the bones, head, eyes, etc. and made some of my party nervous, but I fileted the fish for everyone and it was excellent and moist.
Their AlaskanKing Crab is out of this world. It is fresh live way better than frozen fresh which is what you get from most other places. Service is efficient and friendly. The place also is not too noisy which is a major plus.
The menu for the day was fun and varied. We really appreciated the choices. We went with filet mignon tips and the fresh green beans, along with fried tofu and a few dim sum items. Everything was delicious, as usual. We always enjoy eating here.
rarely do i write reviews but this place was so awful that i feel it imperative to tell others.
the room has no ambience, it felt like a buffet lunch spot just set for dinner.
the waitstaff was uninterested.
the food came out almost before we ordered it.
there was no follow up from the staff, 'how is your food", "do you need anything", NOTHING!
it was close to $100 for two cocktails, soup, one chicken dish, a vegetable and rice.
yes i know chinese food in los angeles can be challenging but DON'T GO HERE!
Overpriced because of the location. Better to eat at their other branches
Very great food. Fast service and had an excellent meal while dining alone
Very expensive but delicious. Great place to share a special meal. We have been there before but this Friday night it was 2/3 empty. Surprised.
Food quality was very good but high prices, of course you are in Beverly Hills. Service was Ok, servers not very friendly which we expect when we're in Monterey Park but not when we're paying almost double. Dining room is lovely and quiet so you can hear each other and have a conversation. Would recommend to friends who don't want to drive and don't mind paying high prices for dim sum.
Excellent dim sum..very good. Ordered takeout Chinese dishes for later..very delicious and well-prepared.
Excellent, basic Chinese cuisine. Wide variety of dishes, vary fairly priced and attentively served. We have been there several times and plan to return. Self parking available in an underground garage; $5.50.
The only objection is that for some very strange, and inexplicable reason, the elevator from the garage does not operate on weekends, necessitating walking up a ramp to the restaurant. There are a few handicap spots available, but if they are taken, the walk up a fairly long ramp, especially for someone with an injury or disability, may be quite difficult.
Very good food at reasonable prices in Beverly Hills!
Good food worth the price
Good food and service. Better ambiance than most Chinese restaurants. One of only two dim sum place in the west side.
I am beginning to go here once a week for the best dim sum in my area . There are cheaper places , but most of those are in Chinatown 9 miles away for me . But this place is the best ! The service and all the workers are so nice , and really take such good care of you , they are all so caring and polite . The food is nothing less than exceptional !
I sat outside for late lunch and it was really chill
Now I think this is my new favorite Dim Sum place ! The service is perfect , everyone is so pleasant and can’t do enough for you . Pour your tea , check in you , wrap up your leftovers with a smile , no throwing the box and bag on the table and walking away . Then the food is awesome , as good as you’ll find between here and Hong Kong . It’s not Cheap , compared with Chinatown for instance . But it’s like « Bao " on Beverly. Only a bit better .
Great food not very good service
Tasty food but very small portions and about a third smaller portion compared to the other location in Irvine.
Place is very nicely decorated, staff is friendly!food is delicious - dim sum, dumplings, shredded pancake absolute delight!
I love that I was able to set a reservation for this place. I love dim sum but having to wait an hour for a table is not what I want to do on a Sunday. Thanks so much.
I went there with my wife and my son (6 years) Dim sum is good and other dish such as vegetable, fried riced etc. is good too. I went there on Sunday lunch and there has self parking behind restaurant that you can validate your parking ticket for discount.
Price is a little bit high in my opinion but if we have a chance, we will go back for sure.
Delicious food and attentive service.
The roasted duck was beyond wonderful and everyone enjoyed it
Fantastic dim sum! One of our go to weekend brunch spots.
It is a decent everyday Chinese dim sum place. They were all good but didn’t reach ”OMG” level of good
My girlfriend and I went for Dim Sum on a Sunday afternoon. We sat outside which was surprisingly not crowded whatsoever. The indoor dining room was completely full and while we had reservations noticed that there was a wait. Definitely reserve if you're coming between Friday-Sunday.
The food was absolutely delicious. There was not a dish that disappointed; however, I'd suggest going with at least a group of 3 to truly maximize the opportunity.
