Our server was Wes - and he is outstanding! The food was phenomenal as usual and the atmosphere was lively! We drove 3 hours just to celebrate my birthday here as I have Celiac disease and have always felt safe eating here. Will definitely be back!

Frequent diners at Cap City. Food and service usually quite good. This time, no so good. Service was slow and kabobs ordered medium came out well done. Server simply said she would report it to manager and cook.

I ordered the blue plate special. On Thursday that is pot roast. I got the worst cut of meat. It was all fat and grizzle. Disgusting. The server saw what the meat was. They did bring out a new dish of just meat with not fat on it. That was good. But no gravy Very disappointing. I know Cameron Mitchell is a big restaurant person but the quality of food is severely lacking.

We often go on Sundays for the beef stroganoff special. We ordered it this past Sunday. We both thought the beef was not up to par. This has happened before and we told the restaurant our concern. At that point it was different and tastier the following time. You need to have good beef to have good beef stroganoff!

Great service. My salmon was too dry, but my husband’s was not. It was my daughter’s birthday, and they put a candle on her dessert and didn’t charge us for it. The price is high for the food they serve. There is something for everyone to eat.

With our reservation we were seated quickly. The server was terrific; very friendly and efficient. The food cam quickly and was delicious. We can recommend the chili, southern fried chicken , club sandwich and Reuben. We will definitely return for future meals.

This was our first visit. Our table was ready when we arrived for our reservation. Our server *Maddie* greeted us with a smile and patience as we ordered a custom, low-sugar cocktail for my Type-1 diabetic husband. She did a great job accommodating this request. The drinks came out quickly and were great! We had the lemon Caesar salad, meatloaf plate and beef stroganoff special. All arrived fast and at proper temperatures. The food was delicious. We were very impressed by the excellent service we received from Maddie. She was friendly, positive, efficient and professional. We’ll be back to see Maddie on our next visit to Dublin!

Not what we expected at a CMR. Menus were sticky and old. We brought family from out of town because we wanted to impress them. Ordered the balsamic chicken, spicy chicken rigatoni and fried chicken. The rolls brought to the table were slathered with butter, cold and hard to pick up because they were covered in butter. Tasted stale. The chicken with rigatoni was chewy. Mostly just ate the pasta. The balsamic chicken had two breasts. Half of one was chewy, stringy and not edible. The server was nice but brought our food, checked on us once. They were short-staffed. When she brought the check, I showed her the inedible chicken and she asked if I wanted a different piece. I replied no because my second piece was okay. When she returned to the table she had taken half off of my meal. We didn’t even get to tell her about the chewy chicken in the pasta. I guess I expected a manager to come by sometime during our meal, or at least when we complained about the chicken, but no one ever did. In the past that is one of the things we expected from CMR, that a manager or host would come by to make sure everything was okay. Our meal and service was certainly not up to standard and we were embarrassed that we brought out family there for a nice dinner.

I was disappointed with this experience. The service was very slow; we waited ten minutes for our first glass of water and also waited an extended amount of time for water refills. I ordered the Southern Fried Chicken with skillet beans, buttermilk mashed potatoes with a pan gravy sauce. The chicken turned out to be fried chicken strips as opposed to regular chicken pieces. I would have chosen a different menu item had I known this was the case. This should have been noted on the menu. The noise level in the patio/covered porch was extremely loud. We were unable to converse at a normal volume. I will chalk the slow service up to it being a Friday evening. The patio is rather small and the blinds were partially drawn due to the sun, so I suppose this was the reason for the level of noise in the semi-enclosed small space. Our waiter was polite, but apparently had many additional tables to service. Otherwise the flavor of the food was good and served at the proper temperature. I will likely return, but will choose a different time of day or dine inside. Cap City needs to update their menu to note the fried chicken is served as strips so customers can make an informed decision.

This is our third time at Cap City and we thoroughly enjoyed every part of our experience there. From the prompt greeting at the courtesy desk to our very friendly and welcoming server, Maddie, Tom and I were very pleased. The ambiance is just perfect..we could hear ourselves in conversation even though there were many patrons and it was a busy establishment. Our meals were delightful to both the eye and the palate. We shall return soon.

One of our favorite places to go for a nice date night. Great options to choose from with a daily rotating special. Noise was at a comfortable level; quiet enough that you could have a conversation without having to tell but also loud enough to where you didn’t feel like the only ones in the room talking.

Our service was fantastic and the atmosphere is very good. But the prices are getting a bit ridiculous at all of Cameron Mitchell's restaurants. Over $20 for meatloaf and mashed potatoes with a few florets of broccoli on the plate. It's good but it is not that good. Almost $30 for walleye. It's sad how badly inflation is pinching customers and business owners alike...I get that...but I think I've reached the price ceiling and will have to start avoiding these chains. I can spend less money and get just as good and sometime better food elsewhere.
