   It was good but I don't know if I would qualify it as great. The service was excellent but the prices didn't live up to the expecations. Yes, I would recommend it. I would let the people know about my personal experience but I would tell them to give it a chance and decide for themselves.

   We were seated in the bar area which tunrnes to be very loud and active. No what we asked for. Others that arrived after we did, were already getting their main course. We wait nearly 30m for our main course which even the waiter noted should not of taken that long.

   The unique combinations of flavors in their dishes was wonderful. The bread pudding was awesome! Some gems in the wine list at a good price. Our waiter was perfect. The 70s music singalong was unexpected fun.

   Our server Alexa was fantastic and made some great suggestions on the food. Shrimp guacamole was a nice surprise as was the sea bass and the filet mignon. The churros for dessert topped it all off. The drinks were great too and you should try their cocktails. The Peyote drink was delectable and nice and light.

    We started with the pear salad, which was outstanding. The chef further impressed us with the seared tuna and jumbo sea scallops we very much enjoyed as entrees. The meal ended with perhaps the best bread pudding we ever tasted. The service provided by our waitress further added to this excellent meal.

    The experience was great! Server offered an excellent service, and the ambience in the restaurant was great. There are two things I want to point out: one, the entrance does not look like a restaurant entrance, I guess it is designed mostly for nocturnal life and not fit during the day. Two, prices, extremely high for the food offered, do not take me wrong, the food quality and presentation are very good, but certainly is high on the price.

    Canyon on Sunrise was our favorite…. It was always the best, original food, always crowded but worth the wait! Canyon South is beautiful. Brian, the bartender was FABULOUS. The food was very good, but …the bread pudding was different and not the same. Portions at the bar for happy hour were smaller, and there was no delicious bread and butter to have with the corn crusted goat cheese poblano!

    Underwhelming in every way. Service was a bit slow, although the staff was all very friendly. The food and drinks were “meh.” Perhaps our expectations were too high; Canyon just doesn’t live up to the hype. I doubt we’ll return.

    The first time we went the food was exceptional. Just went back and we’re disappointed, I ordered the filet and it was over cooked and the potatoes were dry and tasted reheated.

    Noise level is incredible if you are seated on the left side of the restaurant as you walk in, We were first seated there but could not hear anything the other couple was saying. Asked to be moved to a quieter table and were graciously accommodated. Much better! Our waiter was nice, helpful with questions about menu items. Starters came out very quickly- beet salad was simply some greens, a very few cut up beets and a nice dressing. Nothing special. The smoked fish dip was good, very small portion (small plates) so be aware if you are thinking about sharing. Food came out within a couple of minutes of the first course being cleared. My pan roasted sea bass was fine, not very tasty. Asked for salt and pepper. Served over black beans which were described as sweet and spicy- they were tasteless and cool/room temp. Topping on fish was also tasteless- pico de gallo and avocado. Veggie burrito ordered by one tablemate was very good according to her and abundant. Short rib rigatoni was flavorful but had almost no short rib according to one tablemate. Not looking to rush back.

    We had a great time! The food was delicious as usual and we just love Melia our server. Crab cakes were the special and they were delicious. We were a large table of 7 so it makes it hard on the kitchen and the server. Can’t pass on the prickly pear margaritas!

    Very good food but the noise level is so loud that you need to scream to be heard. The dj is totally unnecessary at 7pm. As much as I love the food I will not be returning.

    From the minute we stepped in, we felt the Vibe of the place , hostess gave a choice of where we would like be seated, we chose a booth on the back that was very comfortable, our server a young lady came over and welcomed us with a great smile, she was attentive and helped with the drinks and the specials. She checked on us regularly and the end of our dinner, she brought our desert with two candle and sparklers The food Pasta with Shrimp was awesome, 3 of us orders the same dosh. All in all the experience was great, made the Birthday and the Anniversary celebration special and fun

    Still my favorite Broward restaurant. I am a frequent patron and have "go-to" menu items. But I did none of that on Saturday. I went with three specials. The shrimp guacamole (which none of my guests were interested in, right up until they sampled it); the American Wagyu-style skirt steak with galbi sauce; and the "jelly-less" pecan pie. All absolutely stellar. My guests raved over the elote loco, the short rib rigatoni, and the pork risotto. Even Canyon's coffee is noticeably excellent. I scored huge points with my out-of-town guests.

    Our unexpected night at Canyon was simply amazing. We were greeted warmly both by Valet and both Hostesses as we walked in. Our waitress Alexa was wonderful! We tried the smoked salmon tostadas (very large portion) and the scallop appetizer. Both delicious. My husband and I shared one of the evening specials - the skirt steak - steak was yummy, didn’t enjoy the coleslaw that it came with - also felt the the entrée was pricey. We also tried their infamous Mac & Cheese - it was yumm. Ended with their housemade pecan pie (also a special for the night). All in all we will return! Thank you Canyon.
