    We have been to Canyon Kitchen a fair amount over the years. Never had a poor experience. Unfortunately, my husband's birthday dinner this year was the exception. After our starter drinks were delivered and meals ordered, we never saw our server again until our meals were delivered. Our friend was quickly out of his iced tea at the very beginning of gathering and I tried mightily to catch our server's eye to order the wine for our dinner, but to no avail. We didn't see again her until she delivered our meals. I told her we wanted wine with our dinner and a bread service refill and our friend had been out of his iced tea for quite a while. She apologized and left. We didn't see her again until we were 80% done with our meals. This lack of attention and service definitely took a toll on our enjoyment of the meal and our birthday celebration as a whole. I told her to forget the wine and bread, as the window to enjoy them with our meals had passed. But reminded her our friend still desperately wanted his iced tea filled. She apologized again. Then, she brought our wine which I told her we didn't want now and she took that back. Still no iced tea ...... A manager arrived to which we told our story. She apologized and said they would do something to accommodate things on our meal. They did ....... they charged us for the wine we didn't receive and charged a full 20% then they took 50% off the food and wine bill. The iced tea refill arrived around when the bill did. I appreciate the gesture of the effort, but the charging of the wine we didn't receive, and a full tip just stung. Sadly, my husband has had a multitude of health issues, and I am not sure how many birthdays I will have a chance to enjoy out with him. This birthday outing was the most emotionally unpleasant we have ever had. It cast a pallor on the whole day for him ....

    Wonderful experience from our first drinks on the newly covered patio, to the delicious Sea bass dinner, great selection of cocktails, wine, and mocktails and our lovely server Bianca who was gracious, informative, and upon hearing it was our anniversary celebration, brought out surprise flutes of champagne! The views, ambiance and hospitality are unsurpassed. The outdoor dining a blessing. Thank you for a very enjoyable celebratory evening!

    We went for the amazing view, truly the most amazing dinner view in North Carolina, but the food was actually amazing too!

    Spectacular setting. Arriving early to have a drink is a must. Everything from the view to the service to the food to the ambiance lived up to the hype.
