Always a great night out at canyon crest. Food, customer service never fails us.
Just passing through Twin Falls so was happy to find a spot that offered nice food, rather than having to fall back on to a fast food spot. But equally happy to have an outdoor option, sadly too dark to see the lovely view we were told about. We were the only ones outside (fyi Idaho is clearly not abiding by the mandatory mask rule and staff are not masked up.) but having the fire-it close by made it very comfortable. We thought we would be forgotten outside but alas service was very attentive and the food came swiftly. Coca cola marinated skirt steak was yummy (now I know what to do with my slightly flat soda), and the filet was cooked to perfection. Having been on the road all day we ordered too much and ate it all. Not a good idea but we had a nice time outside, chatting with Tyler our staffer from a distance, and enjoying the night air.
Food could be a bit better and more fancy for upscale place. Ambiance top notch. Service was excellent.
Servers didn’t wear masks. Idaho is one of the covid hotspots. I know why. The food was ok. We waited almost an hour for a simple trout dinner for 2. We would have left but other restaurants were booked. Disappointing
Although food took awhile to get the food was very good a little pricey but the views were amazing
Best view of the canyon. Good food, fair price. Weeknights outside dining is quiet and relaxed
Very disappointed in our dinner. The food and service are usually excellent but
not this time. Service was extremely slow and acting like they wanted to be
anywhere but there. The top sirloin steak was so tough my husband didn't eat
even 1/2 of it, the baked potato was very good however. I tried the mac and
cheese very disappointed it was so oily and runny was almost a mac and cheese
soup, however the salad was crisp and good. Hope our next visit is back up to
excellent really enjoy the view and usually the food.
Canyon Crest has been a regular visit for me annually when I'm in Twin Falls for business. The food is great for the price, I've always had great service and the ambience "the view" with outdoor dining is unbelievable (this brings back every year.)
This was the 1st time using open table and I liked this experience as well. Looking forward to future BOOKINGS.
The food was good and that is why I gave 2 stars. It took 20 minutes for the server to come by the first time after we were seated. The food came an hour after we ordered it. They didn't bring the appetizers we ordered. Server checked in once in that hour. It wasn't that busy while we were there.. The service might have been better if we had ordered alcohol. The servers were taking great care of customers ordering alcohol. We were there with our son who started getting restless because we waited so long for the food. Probably will not be going back there anytime soon.
All was good thanks to Brittney who went out of her way to accommodate us. We made reservations 2 months in advance to assure we could be seated outside for the view. When we got there we were told they had 2 large parties and seated us in a booth inside. When Brittney came to serve us we told her we were leaving and why. She quickly set us up a table outside and solved the issue like a pro!!!
Great food and atmosphere. Definitely be going back.
We celebrated my sister’s 75th birthday. Everyone was very friendly and the food was fantastic and the drinks were great. There ended up being I think two other groups celebrating birthdays the same night so it’s a lot of fun for everybody. We sat out on the patio had a great view of the Snake River
We were there for our 40th wedding anniversary. We had outdoor dining watching the sunset over the Snake River Canyon. Our total experience was outstanding, especially the food.
Canyon crest had the best food we ate on our trip! It also had a gorgeous view for us to see from the patio. I would definitely recommend it!
We ate outdoors which was probably more quiet than inside. Beautiful view of the Snake River, golf course and Perrine bridge. The breaded chicken wing appetizer was the best I ever had. Nice thick juicy steaks. Highly recommend, don't forget calling to get reservations.
Dinner was fantastic as always. Great wine selection, appetizers very tasty and entree
Never disappoints. Wait staff attentive and friendly but not intrusive. Sure we will return again and again.
What a fantastic view and experience! We sat on the patio overlooking the canyon. The staff was very attentive and happy hour food was very good. Highly recommend!!
This was the best french onion soup I have ever had in my life. The view was fabulous and Mario our waiter was terrific and personable.
Beautiful scenery. Great menu. Slow service overall. Great place. Huge portions. Menu has hot dogs to foley mignon.
View from The outdoor patio area is unbeatable. The food and service was good, but could have been better.
It took a while for our server to come to us, but the food was great and the scenery was incredible
Great customer service, food was yummy and the prices are great!
We had a great meal here. There is outdoor seating and we originally were out there, but an afternoon thunderstorm hit and we were moved inside but were able to keep the view. The place is very large because it is also an event facility. The downside to that is the ambiance was not ideal as it was very open and everything was modular. Very nice place, the service was wonderful and the food was fabulous. My husband and son-in-law had burgers, daughter had a cobb salad that looked amazing and I had a wedge salad and chicken strips. The chicken strips are cooked in house, not from a bag. They were the perfect blend of crispy on the outside and moist and tender on the inside. There were several choices for flavors of sauce for the strips (buffalo, for example) and dipping sauces.
Service was excellent, food good, prices too high for what you get. My steak came mushroom but very sparse, would have order mushrooms' as a side if i was aware. Salad should have been included with the meal.
One of our go to dining places. We always enjoy the food, service and views.
I had the cobb salad, with chicken added. I was pleased that when it arrived, it had a decent amount of chicken. Sometimes in that circumstance, you get a piddly couple ounces.
Beautiful place to eat lunch or dinner overlooking snake river canyon
The food and service was excellent!! Anytime I come into town that's the first meal I'm going to eat! I want to thank the staff and the Chef Richard for a fabulous food experience !!! 👏 Bravo
Made a reservation for outdoor seating. Went to the restaurant on time to find they had no outdoor seating available. My wife and I where celebrating out anniversary by dinner at sunset. We left as we did not want to eat inside
It took 20 minutes before our waitress actually came to our table, our food was really cold and we were sat next to a table of girls that were having really inappropriate conversations. then the waiter got involved in the conversation. This restaurant was one of the best now it's not.
It took over an hour to get our food and we didn’t even order steaks
We were sat after standing in the lobby for about 15 minutes waiting for someone to come up to seat us and a group in front of us. After being sat we waiting for another 15 minutes for our server to come with water and menus. By time she came back again we were ready to order and placed our order of an app and two entrees also two sodas. About 20 minutes later our app comes out delivered by a different gentleman no biggie. Another 10 minutes later our food came out. Still no drinks still no server to check on us. After we’re almost done eating our food the server comes back and we mention to her about our drinks. She brings the one but states they ran out of the syrup for the other one and she will have it right out. A few minutes later I’m assuming she was the manager brought my drink after we were done eating almost an hour after we placed the order. We were walking up to the register because no one ever came back to check on us or give us our check and luckily our server was walking by and saw us. I understand the restaurant business is chaotic and stressful. And it seemed like to me that they were short staffed. I hope things get better for canyon crest maybe I’ll try again in a few months.
The view was the only part that wasnt a huge disappointment. Was ignored at the hostess stand, moved to the bar and was ignored there. Finally acknowledged, our reservation confirmed, and received minimal service. Was seated outside and waitress apologized for being understaffed and thanked us for our patience. Was able to order food about an hour after we were seated and we let the waitress know of a severe mushroom allergy - ordered a meatball flatbread and shrimp cobb salad. About an hour or more later received a mushroom flatbread and chicken salad. Not wanting to wait any longer my husband and I swapped food. The flatbread was removed from the bill but we received our check with another diner's credit card. I wanted to bring the other card to the bar to make sure it wasn't just left on the table and got ignored again. Over all it took over 3 hrs to get the wrong food and have a couple drinks. This was our 2nd option when Elevations had a 3 hour wait....next time we will choose to wait and skip this restaurant all together.
Great to be able to dine in again. Always a good meal and service.
We arrived for our reservation. There was a couple ahead of us, a walk-in. It was pretty empty, so they were shown to a table by the window, even though they didn’t ask specifically to be. I said we had a reservation, the hostess didn’t even bother checking out n that. The problem I had with this approach was that, in my reservation, I had explained that I was bringing an overseas guest and that I would like a table with a view. We were show to a table away from the window, as the other guests were already lined up along the window tables. Had the host checked the upcoming reservations, she could have reserved us one of those tables!
The food was good but the salmon was over cooked and dry.
There wasn’t much of an atmosphere and my red wine tasted like it should have been used for cooking only.
At this point, when passing through Twin Falls, I would not recommend this restaurant.
Beautiful view of Snake River. Wonderful staff, delicious Sunday buffet reasonably priced!
The food was not great, especially for the price! It wasn't that busy for the service to be so slow.
Very nice food at a great price.
Wonderful Valentine's day dinner date location. My wife and I loved the private atmosphere and the food was worth the price. Would go again
