The Canyon Cowboy
We went on a busy day, so maybe the kitchen and wait staff were off their game, but everything we ordered was over cooked. Our “loaded” baked potatoes only had cheese on it, salmon and steak were hardly seasoned and our sides weren’t correct but we never saw the waitress again to get them corrected until she dropped the check.
The fried pickles we started with were delicious though!
Unfortunately, I can’t recommend.
St. Patrick’s Day
Fantastic service, food and drinks. Prompt and courteous staff made our party with 23 people fun, easy and enjoyable. Will definitely be back. Thank you, Canyon Cowboy for a great meal.
Ordered the steak sandwich it was over cooked and had some tough spots that was hard to chew this is the second time now that we were unhappy with this sandwich.
We had a very fun time, enjoyed the food & our servers.
The menu posted online is not the same as what the restaurant gives you. We went here after perusing the online menu. After we were seated, we found the items we intend to order were not on the menu. On comparing the menus in our hands to the one online, we saw the menus were completely different. The actual menu features mediocre pub style food you can get anywhere, as opposed to the skirt steak and other items shown online. As we left, we informed the manager we would not be dining here and told him it was because of the menu bait-and-switch. He said that yes, it was “a little different.” A little? No, it was totally different!
Good food. Good portion. Good price. Good service.
Restaurant was great, too bad someone spoiled it for me by stealing $40 from my phone case while I was dancing. Did not report it because I didn't realize it until I got home. Not the restaurant's fault unless it was one of their staff and I certainly hope not. I guess it was my fault for leaving it on the table.
Had a great time on New Year’s Eve! Great music, dancing, food and drink. The customer service is outstanding!
I went here when they first opened and had a good experience. So I brought family who were visiting and spoke highly of food. Unfortunately everyone got terrible food, sirloin too tough and chewy, sides burnt and they were not happy. Now in my longer allowed to pick the place to go out to when they visit. Won't go back!
First time at Canyon Cowboy but not our last. Great menu. 4 of us ordered 4 different menu items and we were all happy. The absolutely best Brussels sprouts ever! Only complaint is the noise level. Not easy to have a conversation, and sitting near a screaming child didn’t help. But it was 7:00 on a Saturday- next time will be during the week. Couldn’t even enjoy the music. But in spite of that we loved the restaurant.
The Canyon Cowboy is a great neighborhood spot for brunch and dinner. There's live entertainment just about every night, including our favorite, the Comedy Nights. You can learn how to country line dance, watch dueling pianos, see local bands and participate in open mic night - all in one week!
The food is excellent - and the menu is not your "average" menu - with country fried chicken, burgers, fish, sandwiches, amazing appetizers (check out the 14" hot pretzel with antipasto!) and incredible sides (campfire corn, mac-n-cheese, even healthy stuff like salads!)
You don't have to take my word for it- just go in and enjoy!
Very noisy even for a Saturday night, food was so-so. Service was quick and friendly. Entertainment was excellent (Twisted Gypsy). The place was pricey. Drinks were good. Very crowded, table was in a busy area.
Food was excellent. I had the Scottish Salmon and it was the best I've ever tasted. Baked potato and broccolini was delicious as well. My husband had sirloin and it was on the cold side. Otherwise great. Cowboy Cadillac Margaritas on point. Dance floor is TIIIIINY. Booths are too big in table space. If they could make the table space smaller they could fit more booths in and still have comfortable seating, raise them up also so you can see over the 2 top bar tables and stools and be able to still see the band. Kind of poor layout there. Lots of seating at the actual bar. Alot crammed into a small space. It'd be meat to see it be a bit bigger but they've done well enough for working with what they've got. Beautiful decor. Waitresses looked a bit homely. Their attire wasn't consistant and it was sometimes hard to tell who was working there or what. Otherwise I was pleasantly surprised. Even if my husband was the only cowboy hat in there and we were the only ones coy try dancing as a couple lol.
Excellent service, great atmosphere and food. The food could use a little less seasoning/salt but overall very good!
We were there for a fundraiser for K9 companions and it was our 1st time there. I would go back for sure.
The overall dining experience was excellent. The problem was the kids running up and down the stage access areas
Love this place! The food was amazing! We had the ribeye, brussel sprouts and loaded baked potato. Oh My Word it was delicious! Our server Tristan was great! Everyone was so friendly. The band was so amazing too!
The front desk girl showed us to a nice table window side and the band was pumping when we got our awesome drinks right away and then ordered food. The burger was great but someone who I think was a manager came to ask how everything was and we said great and they got us a Tshirt to go. Overall GREAT! Can't wait to go back.
This was our first visit to Canyon Cowboy. We were looking for a new place for brunch and I specifically wanted chicken and waffles. Since it was a featured item on their brunch menu, we decided to give it a try. The service was excellent. They were super busy but the bartender came out from behind the bar to wait on us and everything came out quickly, which was good since we were on a somewhat tight schedule having prepurchased a reserved seat to an IMAX movie for later that morning. The chicken and waffle was good, but could have been so much better. The breading they use for the fried chicken is a disappointment. All things considered, we will go back again and keep this place in the rotation.
Service was over the top. Kelly was our service and she was excellent, along with her help and the bartenders were on it! We were very pleased with our evening. The food was good, the pretzel is a great group share item, we enjoyed the fried pickles. The Chicken and Waffles were ok, had them as an appetizer last time which is no longer on the menu, which I think they should put back. Other than than we were all very pleased.
I always love coming to the Canyon Cowboy. Food is great, ambiance is great, and the entertainment is always fun.
Had a great time are waitress Kelly was awesome it's are new hangout😉
I have never had a bad experience, this time was great. We came for the dueling pianos!
My wife and I enjoyed our experience at this restaurant very much. Every thing was great, the food, service and the live band. We will be back again for sure!
Our server was Wayne and he was outstanding at making sure our dining experience was top notch. We were there for the Sunday Funday Brunch and we all had excellent meals. There were 3 of us and we ordered an omelette, the steak and eggs, and the breakfast sandwich, and two of us had the bottomless champagne. We would all definitely return for the great food and ambience.
Food was good. Was a little loud. Was seated in the middle by the stage, table wobbly and had to use my phone flashlight to see the menu.
