Cantoro Trattoria is a family owned upscale yet casual Italian restaurant featuring house made pastas and traditional Italian cuisine including a variety of pizzas cooked in our wood burning pizza oven. Our in house sommelier and general manager Alex Bazzy maintains a complete wine list from around the world with emphasis on selections from Italy. Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020,2021, and 2022. Mlive "Top 10 List" for best Italian restaurant's in Michigan 2017 and 2022.

    Food is always very good here but was over the top great tonight. We split the bolognese and pizza #4. Sooooo good.

    The food was exceptional! The 14 oz New York Strip was cooked to perfection – tender, medium rare, and bursting with flavor. Big shoutout to Jeff, our server, for top-notch service – attentive, prompt, and made our experience even better!

    Our waiter, Joel, was so happy and nice. Our food came out perfectly and quickly. We had at least 4 people stop at our table to ask us how everything was. I cannot think of one thing to “improve”.

    The waiter was less then attentive and the spaghetti dish ordered was advertised to have peppercorns and it didn’t, making it very disappointing

    We were celebrating a special birthday for my wife. Service started a bit slow and we had to request a drink menu. Everything was very good afterward. The food was stellar as usual and we couldn't have had a better atmosphere. We were never rushed even though we left 30 minutes after the restaurant stopped serving from the menu. Everyone in our party had a wonderful time thanks to the dinner being held at Cantoro's.

    Another visit to Cantoro for another outstanding meal. We were delighted with the burrata platter, and the strozzapreti with wild boar ragu was out of this world. The service was excellent, as always.
