Cantoro Trattoria - Plymouth
Great waiter! Food was good. Didn’t love the halibut special.
Cantoro's in Plymouth does an excellent job with Italian fare. Service was great, the food was amazing, and the wine was the best I have had in a while. We love Cantoro's!!!!
Long, imposing drapes, installed during outdoor construction made us feel like we were having dinner in someone's overcrowded living room!
We celebrated my sister’s birthday and were very, very happy with everything. The food was great, ample, and s wonderful selection of dishes. We would recommend this place to everyone. We intend to go back to try some of the other tempting dishes. A special place!
PHENOMENAL FOOD! Love this restaurant. One of our favorites!
As always , excellent food, service and at a good price. Has the lamb chop and it was very good
Excellent meal and service! We dined here many times and never been disappointed..
Our waitress Lina was very knowledgeable about the wine and food. She was friendly and very helpful. The food was served very hot and was delicious.
Excellent homemade tasting great quality food. Just like your grandmother would cook.
Very excellent food so far from Italy. Knowing the original and accepting some mild modifications appreciated by Americans makes this place a go-to in the area and beyond.
A wonderful dining experience. Very good food and service.
Always the bet Italian food!
The noise level IS high, but it's still my favorite restaurant, bc i order the same things...caprese and salmon!!
The meal once again was fabulous. Our table was too small for six people. We were. It allow to sit at the ends so the four people were hanging off either sides and our knees kept hitting the mettle legs. We order two $70 bottles of Amorone and other wines too with the bill adding up to $400. What we didn’t like was a 20% gratuity was added when we felt the service was somewhat below standards.
The place is very popular. But it does not have that ambience to demand a premium price. The food is nice, no doubt. Just seems not a fair value for the dollar.
Wonderful service and excellent food. Our got to restaurant for special occasions!
Have never been there before with a time contraint, but was in and out in less than an hour. Perfect! Of course, the food was great, as always. Had the shrimp appetizer for my entree and it was delicious. :)
We had the caprese (a delicious starter), the panino al petto di pollo grigliato (a spectacularly tasty and sizeable sandwich), and the tagliatelle alla bolognese (also delicious). Our server was attentive and congenial. Overall a very pleasant lunch.
As always a fantastic experience. Would recommend for any event!
Rude hostess. Slow service, waited 30 minutes at table for waitress to greet us. Then waited 30 more minutes to get appetizer.
food is outstanding and delicious, well worth it, even with prices on the higher side for lunch.
I brought a friend, recently returned to Michigan after working out of state, to a place that wasn't here when he left. He was greatly impressed. The food at the Trattoria was excellent (pasta w/clams for both of us, a dish that is heavenly when properly done as it was at Cantoro). Service was patient and outstanding. It was something of a business meeting, and the atmosphere was very conducive to that ... we weren't disturbed and we didn't disturb others. Afterward, we strolled past the prepared food counters, the bakery, the gelato counter, and the frozen food ... I have been back many times, and he most certainly will return!
We dined at Cantoro's on Sat evening and we really enjoyed all of our meals and our server as well. 5 stars all the way around! We will be back. Thank you!
The word is out that this is consistently a great restaurant - delicious food, wonderful service, and super cool vibe. I couldn't get a reservation for the evening (make sure you plan in advance so you can snag one!) so I made a lunch-time reservation. It was still very busy on a Saturday afternoon. We ordered our favorite Caprese for an appetizer - the burrata is amazing, and when tomatoes are in season the dish is even more phenomenal, but we were pleased as usual even though the tomatoes were a little undersized. We ordered 2 entrees: our daughter's favorite Tagliatell alla bolognese and wanted to try something new so went with the linguine al salmone. The bolognese is wonderful - the noodles so fresh and perfectly cooked. The linguine was good, with big chunks of salmon throughout, but I'm not sure I'll order it again. Something about the tangy sauce was not my cup of tea. Our waiter Morgan was attentive, friendly and very professional. Overall another great experience at Cantoro Trattoria. Can't wait to see the new improved patio area when it's finished! When we come back we'll be sure to make a reservation well in advance.
Always enjoy eating at the restaurant and this time was no exception. The food is always amazing and the service is very friendly and professional. We had a party of 8 and no one lacked for anything at any time. The table was ready and we were immediately seated upon arrival. Looking forward to our next outing at the restaurant already.
Excellent Place and amazing food! Had wonderful experience and worth visiting.
Went to celebrate two birthdays in our family and had a great dinner! Drinks, appetizers, dinners and dessert.....all wonderful! And we had great service too! It’s is one of our very favorite places to eat!
This was my fourth visit. On this occasion the water and coffee were not kept refilled and the coffee wasn’t hot when it did come. On a previous visit we were brought the wrong salad but we ate it, even so. The wait staff is professionally friendly, the food is good, the noise level much too high.
The experience was nice. Our server Morgan was friendly, but soft spoken and slightly hard to hear at times. He was very inexperienced with opening our $110 bottle of wine, but thankfully had assistance from a fellow co-worker to decant it for us. However, He didn’t refill our glasses once throughout our meal. Overall, it was a great experience and we will definitely return.
The “saltimboca a la romana” was more a veal steak cooked medium. The taste was good but this is not the original version I know from Switzerland and Italy. The desert tiramisu was good. The wine was very good and the price for the Brunello de Montalcino was reasonable.
Fabulous, authentic Italian in a great atmosphere. Would return a 100 times.
Tracy, our server, was friendly and efficient. The food was excellent, as always
This is a very good authentic Italian restaurant. Makes the chain Olive garden restaurants look like beginners. when you're done eating at the restaurant take a walk through the Italian grocery store and over to the bakery you won't be disappointed I guarantee it.
Great pizza!! A very nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
Always a great meal at Cantoro’s, superb food, great wine list and reasonably priced, and the staff do a great job, very knowledgeable and attentive.
We weren’t told half offers were available until we were half way through our meal. The description of the seafood lasagna wasn’t what we received. Mother inlaw’s veal dish was good. My bolonagnse was meaty but not a good flavor. Al dente was slightly under cooked. Wine and Birthday tiramisu was delicious. Side salad was good. Waitress was very attentive in a good way
Our dining experience at Cantoro's restaurant was wonderful. We will definatly return.
Every time we dine here it is always delicious. Service is excellent and very consistent. Oh, and the wine list is amazing! This is one of our favorite places to dine.
Needed a reservation for 8 instead of 6 and called them to see if they could adjust. They were able to accommodate my group. We ordered squid ink seafood pasta, tagliatelle alla bolognese, special seafood lasagna, salads, calamari and wine. Food was amazing as usual.
One of my favorite spots to eat. Great food and service.
