So happy you are open!!! Worth the wait. Cantinetta Wallingford is our fav!!!! Can’t wait to return ♥️💚🤍
Loved the service, food could have been better and some of them were definitely over priced. Loved the ambience but the outdoor fire should have a protective glass to avoid any contact(safety hazard)
We love everything about Cantinetta— the exceptional food (as good or better than dishes we’ve had in Tuscany), the kind, attentive servers that remember things we like from week to week, and the cozy, candlelit, atmosphere where we often run into friends from the neighborhood. We missed Cantinetta so much and have returned for a date night each week since they reopened!
All dishes we tried were very good but most notable were the fried artichokes, burrata, and risotto.
Great as always. I've been going there since they opened in 2008...always a delight!
Best people food and place!!! Love this neighborhood gem
Very nice restaurant but we wish the menu had had better options and while the desserts were amazing the rest of everything was pretty good but not amazing.pricey....
Because of COVID, this was our first meal out at a restaurant in over a year, and we are so glad we chose Cantinetta! We had an absolutely delicious dinner here, during Seattle Restaurant Week, and for very good value. We were seated outside, in a covered area next to a fire pit, and were cozy, warm and happy through the entire meal. Our server was very friendly and helpful, making excellent wine suggestions and answering questions about the menu. We will be back!
Wonderful every time! Food, cocktails, service and ambiance -- A+
We had a delightful dinner at Cantinetta! We started with cocktails and an appetizer that were absolutely perfect! We then had Carbonara and Cacio e Pepe like Mama used to make, but better. The Halibut was cooked to perfection! The entire staff was the right combination of friendly and professional! I can't wait to go back!
Everything was wonderful. The food and drinks were delicious. It was out first time out at a restaurant this year and we both felt very safe even during a busier time of day. The tables were very spaced out and they had opened windows as well. Definitely had covid precautions in place. There Is outdoor seating as well with heaters and cozy seat covers.
Out favorite neighborhood restaurant! Have eaten here numerous times over the years and it’s always consistent and creative!
Love this restaurant and the service. We usually try and sit outside and it's peaceful and comfortable. You can always count on a great meal that's diverse and creative. It's a neighborhood treasure.
We were so excited to be able to go back to Cantinetta after almost a year. The food was fantastic the service was excellent. I am glad they are back open. We will be back soon
Good to be reopened! Always the best Italian menu. Hope the bar can open by summer.
The ambience was very nice and all our servers very polite. The food wasn't something special to be honest. I ordered the tagliatelle bolognese which was very average. The tiramisu though was delicious.
We’re so glad they we-opened. The food was delicious and service excellent, even their first night of re-opening.
So great to dine out again, and a real treat to be welcomed back to this lovely dining experience. The food was beautifully prepared... we enjoyed the pork belly appetizer as well as the fried artichokes which were delightfully crispy yet light and refreshing. My Cacio e Peppe was flavorful and seasoned so well. As we were enjoying ourselves so much, we even shared the coconut flan dessert — sublime. Can’t wait to return.
We were seated 35 mins late for a reservation that was already pushed by the restaurant from 6:30 to 8 in order to sit outside. So our 35 min wait was on the sidewalk outside in 40 degree weather. Food was great but arguably not worth it by that point.
Wonderful dinner! The gnocchi is perfect.
Love Cantinetta!
Nice food and service
I wouldn't say their measures were very COVID save and it took us 2.5 hours to get 3 courses. I am sure they are doing their best though.
We live right up the street, love Cantinetta!
Great ambiance, food and service
Ravioli and Bolognese were delicious
The portion were small to be full. Service was fast and professional. Cozy feeling and nice decor. Good for a casual date.
Fantastic as always! Love the new outdoor setup with the firepits, it's cozy and safe!
This was my second time enjoying some very yummy dinner here. I will definitely be back for a third and a fourth!! :)
Enjoyed an al fresco dining experience with great food and service. They have a series of tables outside with gas fire pits next to each one to try to combat the cold. Warm throws to sit on. We opted to eat outside due to coronavirus and dressed warmly (it was 45 degrees). We had a really nice time, the fire pits do help with warmth and give a nice ambiance. Arrived early for our reservation and they graciously allowed us to order a bottle of wine and have a glass while waiting for our table. Ordered creamy polenta, just the right consistency and light flavoring, roasted Brussles sprouts which were nicely cooked, a little too vinegary for my taste but everyone else ate it up. The burrata was THE best I've ever had, yum! For dinner, everyone ordered a pasta, which were all perfectly cooked al dente -cavatelli, not too spicy, I would have liked more of the sauce -wild boar gnocchi and the butternut squash ravioli. Excellent meal and the plates went back empty. Service was friendly and efficient. Look forward to eating here again.
Loved the space and ambiance. Seattle restaurant week deal was 👌
Sat outside beside a fire pit and on sheepskin seats which were a great touch since it was pretty chilly. Went for Seattle restaurant week and had a wonderful, generously portioned 3 course prix fixe meal. Tagliatelle with Cacio e Pepe was amazing👌
Thank you Restaurant Week for helping me rediscover this gem. My first indoor dining experience since last winter! But next time I want to be outside, channeling Switzerland on sheepskin. The tagliatelle cace e pepe was so good that I booked a return reservation as soon as I got home! Ask about the house bottle of wine.
We took advantage of the outdoor seating on a mildly stormy evening, and, with the covers and fires, it worked great.
Amazing food and effort by Cantinetta to build a great outdoors experience in the cold October weather. Highly recommend!
We had the best experience on Halloween! Everyone was super respectful of social distancing and we had the best service! Wish I caught our servers name because she was so attentive and sweet! The ambiance was more than I could have dreamed of! 10/10 will be back very soon! :)
Sat outside and enjoyed a nice fall evening. Food was tasty if a little pricey. Great experience overall!
Phenomenal food & wonderful staff! COVID friendly and just a wonderful place to enjoy a nice dinner
The food was simply outstanding. Service and pace of the various courses was spot on.
Food was so delicious! This has become one of my favorite Italian spots in Seattle. Flavorful and perfectly cooked homemade pasta. Try the pappardelle bolognese and the truffle pasta dish. Tiramisu was excellent as well.
We got the prix fixe Seatle Restaurant Week 3 course meal, which was delicious! Had the pappardelle & the tagliatelle, casio e pepe, which were great! Outdoor seating was warm with fire pits and socially distanced.
