Slow service, server was not very knowledgeable. Couldn't figure out how to provide a vodka/lemonade for one of our guests. Weak margaritas. Camerones Escondido had decent flavor but the chicken was dry and over-cooked. Chips and Salsa are good.
This was our first time here, we will definitely be back. The food was Mexico City Style roasted salsa, vast options on the menu, the service was excellent, the atmosphere was warm and modern. We had a wonderful dining experience. Not your common Mexican restaurant fair.
Excellent food. Carnitas were outstanding.
The food is spectacular and Eric's service is nothing short of mind reading!
Excellent and creative Mexican food! Table side Guacamole is tasty and chips are fresh. Do not skip the desserts!
Great service- very good and fresh food- reasonably priced
My family and I have eaten here now twice, and it has been extremely enjoyable each time. Suggest this restaurant if you haven't made it here yet.
Great, creative menu. All prepared and played with precision. Accommodations made with requests to ensure our satisfaction. Excellent service. Excellent meal. Would definitely recommend and return.
Great food and drinks. Celebrated Father's Day.
The staff is always friendly. The food is very tasty and they work to make any meal a pleasant experience. Overall I would recommend this place for almost any ossasion.
We ordered several dishes and, of course, liked some more than others. The location is great for most but for anyone with a handicap, it is a little difficult as valet parking is about half of a block away.
Unexpected and delightful. Don't let the location deter you from an amazing mexican meal in Vegas. Worth wandering off the strip to check out. Their langostino tacos were delicous.
The sopas were also delicious.
Had an amazing time and the food was great. My GF kept singing it's praises and we finally went. And I'm glad we did. Service was great, food was great . Over all amazing place .
Located in the upscale Tivoli Village/Summerlin area, the Laredo is reasonably priced and readily accessible with nearby public parking. The dinning area is spacious and tables are adequately spaced insuring patrons' privacy.
Our waitress was professional, friendly and unobtrusive. She made our initial experience a memorable one! The food was delivered on time, hot, presentable and deliciously tasting.
The coup de grace was a triple layer leech mango cake that was simply devine!
Average Mexican restaurant, nothing special. Won't go back when I can go to other Mexican restaurants that I enjoy better.
Always a great place to eat
Always perfect, service, food, cocktails. Great atmosphere, friendly wait staff, and bartenders
Very nice, great food and good staff.
I've been here several times, and enjoy trying different dishes. Not disappointed so far. However, the service needs to be a little quicker. It's not so much the server, but I think they need more servers to cover all the tables - especially during lunch hour. Everything is fine until it's time to get the bill-- always takes so long! Then we we told it was quicker to use a card instead of cash because they had to get that from the bar. So, my co-workers and I always get back to the office late.
Good place to have a bite and a drink after work
This was our 2nd visit in two nights to Cantina Laredo. On the 2nd night we used Open Table to get a table for 8. The food was really good. Excellent chipotle salsa with your chips. I wouldn't say the restaurant is authentic Mexican. They do traditional Mexican meals (e.g., enchiladas, tacos, burritos, quesadilla) with a level or two above authentic. If you are looking for refined Mexican food...Cantina Laredo is your place. I had the carne asada tacos. It came with rice and beans. The dish was good. My wife had the tortilla soup...delicious.
Our waiter was exceptional...bringing lime/cilantro rice for our 1 year-old saying, "This is what his 2 year-old loves to eat." I rated the service low not because of our waiter, but because of the host's promptness. Two nights in a row the front desk was absent of a host while multiple parties waited to check-in...including my party. We waited 12 minutes after our Open Table reservation for a table. Our reservation was made 1 hour prior to our arrival. I would have thought this would not have been a problem.
Service was very poor. Our plates were left on the table even after we paid the check!
Been there a couple of times before, but this time the salsa for the chips was too hot, even though we'd asked for mild. The server said that was as mild as they had that day. Otherwise the food and service were good.
I always get the Pescado del dia, and it's always delicious. It doesn't matter which fish they're serving that day, it is always perfectly prepared and wonderfully served. The cilantro lime rice is one of my favorites when it comes to rice. Excellent restaurant, everyone in my party was well pleased. Only negative was the waiter didn't ask if we wanted separate checks and wouldn't split the check for us later. We figured with a party of 15, he would know to have separate checks.
We were in town for a sporting event. We wanted a casual restaurant with good food. The restaurant wasn't at all busy on a Saturday night considering we ate at the restaurant basically next door the night before and it was crazy busy (and awesome food BTW). The service was great. Chips and salsa very good. I had the bacon wrapped shrimp fajitas. Sounds yummy huh? It had alot of potential but the shrimp were so overcooked and dry. Disappointing. And the tortillas were cold. And tell me why restaurants use those GROSS plastic replicas to showcase their desserts?!? I never want dessert after I see that. I think this place has alot of potential. Just need to make a few tweaks. (Oh....And please freshen up the restroom...Kind of gross.)
Great food and service, reasonable prices.
Great food.. Menu has improved since our first time about 1 1/2 years ago. Fairly priced.
Not as good as the on in Dallas where the food, service amd drinks were awesome.
My sangria was very good. I had the chicken enchilda and my date had the steak and chicken fajitas. Both were very fresh, and tasty. The chips they serve are some of the best I have had at a mexican restaurant. . Our waiter also gave recommendations as to the spice level of the food.We will definitely return.
Very nice service and comfortable environment good food!
Always very good... Every dish. My companions cleaned their plate. Live the take on Modern Mexican.. Carnitas was exceptional!
Margarita was sickeningly sweet, the chicken could not even be cut with a knife. I had asked for a steak knife. the Carne Asads texture was mush and the pumpkin soup was overly sweet as well. the dessert was delicious. overall $92 wasted.
The tableside prepared guacamole is fabulous! And I love trying the various entrees whenever I go. Would definitely recommend the tortilla soup.
Disappointing experience
Great Mexican food and guacamole
And Thin crunchy chips!
Food was good. Service terrible. We had a 6:45 reservation, arrived on time and were told we would have a 30 to 45 minute wait. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. When I looked in the dining room there were 6 or more empty tables. They must have a staffing problem! We found a table in the bar and sat down and waited and waited. I got up and got my own menus. Finally someone appeared and took our drink order. It took 20 minutes to get them. I went to the bar to get my own water! This isn't the first time this has happened here. We like the food but I don't think we can put up with this dining experience!
Great food......even gluten free!
Service was timely and friendly.
Service was terrible. The restaurant was not busy and we had little or no service.
The service was so bad my quest even commented. One server asked us if we were ready to order. We said we needed a minute and he never came back. Another server came and seemed annoyed that she had to wait on us. After that the service just went down hill. And there were only FIVE Tables that had guests. So it was not like they were busy.
Very nice place!
