Cantina La Veinte
About
With the leading role, we have our monumental bars along with one of the larges tequila and mezcal selection in town and our bar manager created delicious and sophisticate cocktails.
Every cantina is a cultural expression of the place where it is found.
Gastronomy-wise, we have an extensive menu of Mexican Cuisine dishes, offering representative dishes of each state of the country, with traditional techniques and recipes (handmade tortilla, sauces made in a molcajete ), along with avant-garde techniques such as vacuum cooking, spherification, foam, etc. We constantly update our menu and the chef’s recommendations with new and top quality ingredients.
ONLY our Brunch Menu served Sundays between 12:30PM-4PM
Normal food but a higher price
Excelente servicio como siempre!!!
La muchacha que sienta a las personas...fue muy Grosera y Altarena en cambio el mesero fue muy amable...la comida estuvo ok.
The shellfish was fresh and cooked well. The service was very attentive and polite. I love the ambiance. This is a go to place on Brickell.
Muy buena atención. Hermoso lugar, increible vista.
Place is cool and nice, food is good just not extraordinary, service is ok not great.
Rude waiter
service by Moshe was outstanding on top of a great dinner and good drinks
Best place to go on November 1st - all saints days
Amazing place, great service, delecious food, nice views from the terrace next to the bay. Highly recommended place.
We were here the day after Halloween and the restaurant was wonderfully decorated! We enjoyed our appetizers which were tasty and attractive. The prawn main was also delicious. The mole chicken may have been better with less sauce. The coconut flan was smooth and rich.
The ambiance is fantastic. Music, mariachi, fun decor. Large menu for everyone to choose from. The drink menu is extensive as well with specialty tequilas and mezcals. The food was delicious, authentic Mexican flavors with an upscale twist.
The food was even better than expected. Who knew beets could taste that good?! The margarita was great - the guac was superb (perfect chips!) - and the venue outdoors, downstairs bayside was quintessential Miami. This place really outperforms! Did I mention the tacos? Can’t wait to return!
We expected a little more. We were sat downstairs so we
couldn’t experience the mariachis. Also, the service brought us the wrong drink twice.
The waiter had an attitude and everyone at the table noticed. The lunch menu on the website is completely different than the one provided. I was told that the restaurant no longer serves the set lunch menu. This restaurant regularly makes menu changes, and every time I've eaten there this year it has caused me an issue. Whether it be brunch, lunch, or dinner there's always some change that has either not been told to the staff or is not updated on the website. I've let things slide as I really enjoy the food, but the fact that every time this year has been an issue, shows that there's a severe management/communication problem. I don't plan on dining here again.
Great food and ambiance. The manager was also great with emailing me a lost receipt! Definitely a must go to!
all excellent, the server named Paola is the best in Saervice
The place is very pretty and classy but the food is
Genial como siempre!!!
Esta era nuestra 4ta visita y debo decir que fue muy decepcionante ya que en las anteriores visitas era muy bueno. La comida terrible y el servicio de lo peor
Absolutely loved the ambience, food, and the service! I would recommend to any family or friend! I can’t wait to come back because their service was better than almost any other place in Miami. The manager was able to sit us where we wanted to and I appreciated that!
Terrible service!!
The food was excellent and the service top notch. They were kind enough to hold our reservation for 15 minutes. The octopus was delicious. Highly recommend to take clients out to dinner in a relaxed environment.
Visiting Brickell area for combined business and pleasure trip. We made reservations at Cantina La Veinte. Our host provided a table at the windows with a beautiful view overlooking the water. And the magic started from there. We ordered the three course tasting menu for restaurant week. Everything was delicious. Incredible balance of flavors. The room decor is very well done. Modern with touches of authentic culture. Highly recommend!
It was a great experience, food and drinks were outstanding
i will be back! this is a chain based in mexico city with now 8 branches. nice fresh made tortilla chips and tomatillo and casera salsas. a taste of some tomato broth in a mug also offered. ordered a rum martini, the loco mariachi. had the miami spice 3 course menu including delicious sopes de pollo, kind of like pupusas on a flaky phyllo dough cup, with queso blanco and herbs and chicken. next for the main course was an arm of grilled octopus, which was fine, though i didn't want the pineapple sauce on the side. for dessert there was a piece of pistachio cake.
the interior is decorated with lots of mexican bric a brac and art, and to the jaliscan waiter i suggested they could add an ornate terra cotta nativity set, made by indian tribes from jalisco state.
this was a lunch meal, but at dinner they have a pianist every night from 8-10 providing entertainment, and the downstairs wing has live music and dancing every wednesday night
Great date night restaurant, very cozy atmosphere and great views. The food is outstanding, recommend the fried whole snapper, very well prepared and the fish done to perfection. The golden beets small place was outstanding, with trying! Mario was a great waiter and knew the menu offerings!
It is not what it used to be. Sunday lunch/brunch only served on lower level without A/C under a plastic roof. Tables and placemats were dirty, sloppy service.
It was ok, little over priced ,food quality was ok. Looked like they were trying to hard on the decor. A little 80s night club meets cantina fashionista. If you like that style more power to you! Not our cup of tea
EXCELLENT SERVICE !!!
BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE !!!
NICE SCREEN !!!
We went to celebrate my wife 5o birthday all the way from poplar bluff Missouri
The food is exceptional. Excellent crab tacos, excellent "gorditas". The octopus was fine but would have been better if cut in smaller pieces... The shrimp tacos were excellent too.
Always enjoy cantina, great food and a lot of fun.
First time for my friend and she loved it
Very nice as usual we had a very nice time
Staff in the front very polite and amicable
Waiters very good
Great for birthdays!
Fun mariachis
Definitely order Guacamole con la carne, Dobladitas de jaiba y mocajete de pulpo
Mariachis charges $20 per song. Other people complained to manager too. He just asked us to go back to our tables and sit. Really? not even I am sorry.
Two tables with same issue left the restaurant
Never again
The place is great. The restaurant is one of the most beautiful in Miami in my opinion. We spent a good amount for lunch but object to $19+ parking for lunch.
Too expensive and the food was just ok. A little tasteless.
Great location with awesome views and decor, good attentive service without being intrusive. Good food but more Latino interpretations of Mexican food than true Mexican but very good if on the small side for a hungry party. Will be back with friends.
