Cantina La Veinte
With the leading role, we have our monumental bars along with one of the larges tequila and mezcal selection in town and our bar manager created delicious and sophisticate cocktails.
Every cantina is a cultural expression of the place where it is found.
Gastronomy-wise, we have an extensive menu of Mexican Cuisine dishes, offering representative dishes of each state of the country, with traditional techniques and recipes (handmade tortilla, sauces made in a molcajete ), along with avant-garde techniques such as vacuum cooking, spherification, foam, etc. We constantly update our menu and the chef’s recommendations with new and top quality ingredients.
ONLY our Brunch Menu served Sundays between 12:30PM-4PM
Always enjoy cantina, great food and a lot of fun.
First time for my friend and she loved it
Very nice as usual we had a very nice time
Staff in the front very polite and amicable
Waiters very good
Great for birthdays!
Definitely order Guacamole con la carne, Dobladitas de jaiba y mocajete de pulpo
Mariachis charges $20 per song. Other people complained to manager too. He just asked us to go back to our tables and sit. Really? not even I am sorry.
Two tables with same issue left the restaurant
The place is great. The restaurant is one of the most beautiful in Miami in my opinion. We spent a good amount for lunch but object to $19+ parking for lunch.
Too expensive and the food was just ok. A little tasteless.
Great location with awesome views and decor, good attentive service without being intrusive. Good food but more Latino interpretations of Mexican food than true Mexican but very good if on the small side for a hungry party. Will be back with friends.
Beautiful views. Pretty decor. Food was just fine, too salty for our tastes, but nothing to write home about. Staff were all very pleasant but service was insistent. Eg, had to ask for a fork when we were seated, had to wait to get someone’s attention more than once, our table wasn’t given chips at the beginning. Parking was also a problem. It had been raining and the entrance had several, puddles. Stepped in puddle literally stepping out of car when we arrived. The electronic/text valet retrieval system was not working.
I have been a regular visitor to Miami for more than 12 years, and Catiina La Veinte is my absolute favorite restaurant to take my guests. We celebrated a wonderful birthday of two family members in the restaurant, and it was an experience they will never forget. The hostess, wait and management staff are amazing. Always! There is no better authentic, gourmet Mexican food in Miami. This stop is EVERYTHING fun about Miami life!
The Miami Spice menu was delicious, we had the ceviche and short ribs and both were great. The ambiance was also very nice.
Fantastic the service was great and the food always excellent
Review your check. They charged you more than you eat or drink Be careful
We love the place and the food was delicious!
Best service - great food - fantastic band!!!
Always consistently good. Smallish portions but tasty.
The ambience was great! We had a table outside by the water and the view was beautiful. It was my moms birthday so I wanted something more fun for dinner as I hear that they play mariachi there, what ended up happening that the mariachi only stayed inside so we didn’t see them perform when we were sitting outside! Service was terrible but what can you expect from Miami restaurants. The server never checked up on us about our entrees, the glasses of water were never refilled and when we ordered a happy birthday desert he never asked us if we wanted coffee or tea! Overall this place is OK. Food was good but I can’t say that this was an amazing Mexican I’ve ever had.
Always a pleasure to have lunch here. It doesn’t beat the Wednesday night party downstairs but the tuna toast and tacos are great. Tried the fried red snapper this time and it was a treat. Smelly hands, but that was fine.
Best service I ever had at a restaurant, food was great, tasty cocktails, but bring your Benjamin's. Overall it was worth it.
Food quality has significantly decreased. No fresh fish in sight, guac meh, and nothing exciting! Definitely not the place it once was
Everything was excellent and our waiter was amazing! The octopus was outstanding
Fabulous food, excellent service, wonderful menu, and impressive views.
The ambiance was amazing! The Brickell city view was right in back of us and the lights on the walls in the restaurant were beautiful. The food was great I loved the shrimp I ordered. There was music playing and NBA on the tv, which I love. The staff was always attentive and nice. I would totally recommend to a friend or family member.
Wait staff was great, but hostess can do better. Her only job is to greet, check in and show us the table. She seemed very annoyed to be distracted from her cell
Phone, and then I had to say ‘hi how are you?’ - rather than reply and ask me the same, her response was ‘can I help you?’
Why else would I walk into a restaurant and stop at the hostess stand?
Food was delicious and ambiance was great! Wait staff were perfect. It was a little slow in getting our food, and it felt like we were there for a little longer than expected, but overall happy and would return.
Horrible service, hostess was unable to communicate very odd requirements of the restaurant. After waiting almost 2 hours (with a reservation) hostess told us there was a table minimum, something which should’ve been told to us at the beginning.
Great food and cool spot! Love the langostino with white rice and the desserts were amazing!
The noise level was unusually high because a high level soccer match was on during our visit. This place never disappoints. I have visited Cantina La Viente with family and friends when I visit Brickell, and everyone always says this is their "favorite" stop. The food is always fresh with amazing selections, and the service is exceptional. The music and atmosphere make it a celebration every time. Looking forward to our next visit!
Heads up: No itemized receipt and I didn’t ask for it in front of business guests. Should have. This place has 18% gratuity included. In hindsight was clearly a planned scam by waiter. Too bad because the food is good but if restaurant doesn’t have the integrity to follow up on double gratuity charges they don’t deserve the business.
Things started bad fron the beginning as we had to wait about 40 minutes past the 9Pm reservation time we had.
Food was fine but service was horrible.
Very unfriendly and not a good experience.
They can't wait for you to order food as soon as you sit at the table .They rush you to eat quickly and get out ..turnover is the game
Loved our night here, the food was authentic and delicious, the margaritas very good and the atmosphere with mariachi band so nice. All in all it was a really wonderful night and we will be back!
Pricey but great ambiance and good food
The restaurant is amazing, the food, the ambiance, everything is nice and exquisite. The only bad episode of the night was the Valet parking, they never gave us the ticket, and charged us the fine for lost ticket. On top of that, they are cash only (fishy), every valet parking has a device for credit cards this days.
Best Mexican place in Miami
Outstanding food, good service, and awesome location!
I love the place, food was good, service ok, the server could be more friendly.
The reason I wont give the restaurant 5 starts review, is because they make me use the bathroom on the second floor .
Beautiful place, great food and super service vê staff
Muy poco mexicano. Las tortillas eran de trigo y no de maíz como decían.
Was my first time at the restaurant and really like the atmosphere, the food and the service was excellent, the only negative comment is about the valet parking (over priced) $20 .
Food was delicious same with service. We sat outside near the water and
Go after 8pm. Server seemed a bit disinterested in serving. The few times we did engage her, she responded with a little more care, but for the most part it felt like “please eat fast and leave”
