Cantina La Veinte
With the leading role, we have our monumental bars along with one of the larges tequila and mezcal selection in town and our bar manager created delicious and sophisticate cocktails.
Every cantina is a cultural expression of the place where it is found.
Gastronomy-wise, we have an extensive menu of Mexican Cuisine dishes, offering representative dishes of each state of the country, with traditional techniques and recipes (handmade tortilla, sauces made in a molcajete ), along with avant-garde techniques such as vacuum cooking, spherification, foam, etc. We constantly update our menu and the chef’s recommendations with new and top quality ingredients.
ONLY our Brunch Menu served Sundays between 12:30PM-4PM

Loved it!! Moshie was an incredible server. The food was so delicious we admittedly left a bit uncomfortably full... amazing vibes!
The food was delicious and the menu had many options to chose from. The drinks are huge and the mariachi band was a nice touch as well! The restaurant is right on the water which was beautiful.
Excelente atención! La comida deliciosa. El lugar con buena vibra, gran decoración y música. No el típico restaurante mexicano.
Food, drinks, ambience, view, decor.....all top notch!
Steak wasn't cooked well
Food was excellent upscale Mexican food, creative and ample portions. Service was impeccable. Good selection of tequilas and margaritas. Of course, you pay for the quality so don't be expecting the prices of other Mexican restaurants. Be prepared to pay a pretty steep price per hour for valet as well... But we definitely enjoyed our meal.
great meal. great seevice
loved the Mariachi band too. made my wife's evening.
We had been here before and really enjoyed and that was why we came back. The menu has changed and the prices have increased significantly. The food quality was done, but not for the prices charged. And the service was incredibly slow. We waited more than 20 minutes after being seated before anyone took our drink order. And we waited well over 30 minute es before we were able to get someone’s attention to ask for the check. We will it be returning.
Great food and nice restaurant
Restaurant. Was. SPECTACULAR !
Food. Was. SPECTACULAR. . !!
Looking forward to returning .
LOVED. EVERYTHING . Our new. Favorite restaurant
Birthday celebration, excellent service, great food. For me, all 5 stars except “value” I rated 4 stars based solely on the wine selections. We are not unfamiliar with expensive wine selections in restaurants such as this, however struggled with the selection not quite justifying the expense.
Excelente lugar con ambiente y comida mexicana.
Brunch is understaffed, long waits, not prepared to handle the load.
The location is excellent, but the food, and service has room for improvenment....prices are high and the music during brunch on Sunday is too loud..
Just awful. Couldn’t even get someone to help us. Waited around 20 minutes and just left. Should have just went to Cipriani.
Excellent service and the food was great.
Beautiful place with excellent food and service.
We had a fabulous time
The food and service was excellent
We will be back to try out all the other dishes we missed out on
Friendly and efficient waitress: Paola. She was very good at suggesting combinations we enjoyed such as the arroz caldoso, tuna tacos and Três leches desert. Ambience, decor and river view were great!
El restaurant es muy bueno, pero para estacionamiento solo se utiiliza el valet (Car one) el cual es PESIMO, pues el personal es irresponsable en el cuidado de la llave del vehiculo, y el restaurant se deslinda del problema
Service was attentive- food was decent but then giant screens lowered and blasted Latin MTV videos. Driver going home said it's a wild party on weekends. Crazy experience for sure.
Gorgeous setting. Upscale Mex. Vg cocktails. Tried for lunch. Will return for dinner. Great view.
The soup was cold. The food did not have seasoning.
This is one of the best restaurants in Miami for sure. I saw Bobby Flay there which means its good.
Food excellent but we have to wait 50 min to be seated
Great food, but service was a bit slow overall. Took 20 mins to get menus and didn’t get our drinks till about 40 mins after we were seated. The mariachi band was great but got to be very very loud and annoying as they were table to table playing and busking. Overall good experience.
Excellent, fabulous will go again
We are Miami Beach residents and stopped in this new place for lunch and a walk to explore this part of downtown. Lunch proved an excellent way to try out Cantina. For $25, diners get an appetizer, entree and dessert, all of reasonable portions. And $5 margaritas! (But a tiny glass of ice tea was also $5, and when we were asked if we'd like another, we were charged another $5. Bad form, imho). Each category was a difficult choice because many interesting choices were listed. We ended up with roasted cauliflower with beautiful seasonings and a tiny queso fondue with tortillas for appetizers; and grilled octopus with crispy kale and cochinita pibil (slow-roasted pork) with achiote spices; and pistachio cake with ice cream and (recommended with good reason by our server) tiny rolled crepes with an exquisite cajeta sauce (goat's milk caramel sauce). We also ended up with churros by mistake, and they were excellent too. Everything just shouted authentic. The restaurant itself looks out on the water. But it's filled with Mexican art to admire, including a life-size bullfighting uniform in a frame. (And don't miss the beautiful wooden Art Deco host station.) At lunch it was only a third full and nicely quiet. Our server was helpful and accommodating. The only negative: Parking for the building is $11 for an hour and a half (not enough time) and $19 for up to 4 hours, with no discount for being a patron of the restaurant.
Cantina La Veinte is one of the best spots in Miami for a special occasion. The food is outstanding and creative, and the service is the best I've ever experienced -- really!!
The entire experience was great ❤️ The food and service was excellent!
The decor was beautiful and we had a seat looking over the water. The jumbo prawns were delicious. The fish wasn’t worth what it costed. They had a live mariachi band playing. Good food but it was a bit too pricey.
Sensationell gutes mexikanisches Essen und tolles Ambiente
Loved this restaurant located right on the Miami River in Brickell. The food was really great, the view nice, and our server, Mario, especially great. We had a few small plates: the queso fundido, the chicken sopes (made just like what we love in Mexico!), the shrimp & pork sopes, and yummy guacamole. The tortillas and chips were just like those we get in Mexico as well. We would definitely go back!
The restaurant was closed. The one employee on site did not care that we made reservations. Horrible service from both the restaurant and Open Table (which I use a lot) to allow reservations on dates that the restaurant is closed
I arrived in time, having made a reservation at 9:30 PM, the place was packed. The hostess informed us that they don’t have my table ready and that it will take one hour and a half on average to sit us, which I found unprofessional and rude. Our whole party wait at the bar for maybe an hour and we were debating wether staying, so I asked again. This time they got us a table, but a table downstairs at a corner by some kitchen counter, looked like a cafe area: very dark, very noisy, clearly improvised. I complained and just then they moved us to a better table. They could accommodate my friend request for his dinner choice, he is vegetarian. I found this place needs to stop taking reservations and not honoring them.
Muy rica la comida y la atención excelente
Great atmosphere if you’re looking to have a dinner that ends in a night of dancing. Wednesday ladies night: Free margaritas (at the bar) from 6-10 pm. Expect a large crowd, loud environment, and an overall solid time. Highly recommend!
Great food, fun atmosphere. Pleasantly surprised.
Awesome food and fun
