Cantina La Veinte
With the leading role, we have our monumental bars along with one of the larges tequila and mezcal selection in town and our bar manager created delicious and sophisticate cocktails.
Every cantina is a cultural expression of the place where it is found.
Gastronomy-wise, we have an extensive menu of Mexican Cuisine dishes, offering representative dishes of each state of the country, with traditional techniques and recipes (handmade tortilla, sauces made in a molcajete ), along with avant-garde techniques such as vacuum cooking, spherification, foam, etc. We constantly update our menu and the chef’s recommendations with new and top quality ingredients.

It’s a food experience!! I loved it. 100%
Excellent service and the margaritas are phenomenal !
They no longer have Mariachis for brunch. The tab for four was over $450. Although the food is OK, definitely not worth it without the Mariachi. Save your money, you can easily find brunch with a view and ambiance for half the money.
It can be a nightmare to get a table. Margaritas are great otherwise.
Wow. What a meal and what service. We decided to go “omakase” style which is not an option on the menu but was offered by our fantastic waiter. He brought us on a culinary journey through the best of from the menu, split into 4 equal portions for our group. Simply outstanding.
We love Cantina la 20 but the Margarita was truly disappointing. I always used to have my Margarita there...was so special... They used to be outstanding and I this time it wasn’t worth the price. The rest of the food and drinks were great as usual.
Mariachi band was a little obnoxious
Great as always !!!
We ha a wonderful time! The service was on point. The food, decor and Mariachis transported me to Mexico
Everything was top notch, loved it. Would expand craft cocktail menu but a 10 in my book!
Cantina la veinte is always a good choice for brunch, lunch or dinner. Every time I have been there it is great food and service. They also have a life Mariachi band.
Great food and beautiful restaurant but the service was not good at all. We asked for plain water they brought sparkling. Our appetizers and main courses all came at the same time so our main dish got cold while we had the salad and appetizer. Nobody ever asked if we wanted a second drink. Just not good service at all, not nearly up to the standard of the decor or the food.
Dj is boring I was falling sleep and this place needs urgently new bartenders
Food was very good. Menu was a bit unusual but interesting. It is definitely not a Tex-Mex place. Decor and ambience were excellent. Would definitely recommend it.
Pricing is very high.....def pay for the waterfront. Not enticing for happy hour on a Friday.
The food is a very good expression of the Mexican cultures
Prepare to be underwhelmed. If you're looking for the Cheesecake Factory of Mexican food at 3 times the price and half the quality, Cantina La Veinte is for you. Start off by entering a world where reservations are an aspiration - even if you have one, you'll be warmly welcomed by a trio of rude, stressed out hostesses that will remind you that even though you have a reservation it doesn't mean you should expect to be seated within the next 30 minutes. When you finally do sit down, most likely with an industrial strength fan blowing in your face, indulge in the world's most basic $21 guacamole or maybe check out the cilantro rice with "grilled" vegetables (in a world where grilled means raw). As a bonus, allow the completely incompetent staff to go 0/3 on your beverage order and then blame the mistake on their colleagues. I'll be telling everyone I know who lives in the area to never go here.
Great, fun atmosphere with the mariachis playing around the tables. Suggestion to order a few apps for the table to start as some the entrees are a bit small if you are hungry. LoL. Overall a fun place but can also be romantic with a date or a loved one.
Too expensive for the quality of food. You can dine at a much better rest. For same or less money
The food,fresh and delicious!!
The service needs improvement, first the hostess was too busy to care that we were standing in front of her for about five minutes before she acknowledged us, our waitress Thalia with her attitude make us feel unwelcome as well.
Food was ok, 2 out of 4 foods we ordered didn't like to much.
Cantina always guarantees you a fun time! The food is fun and exciting and the entertainment is top notch. The mariachis are fantastic. I take one star off for service because the hostess gave me a bad attitude about being 15 min late, despite my sincerest upfront apologies. She told me my table was no longer available. and didn't ask if I wanted to wait for another. You should always treat your customer with kindness and respect.
We made a reservation but they offered us a table outside, it was super hot and the noise was too loud. the waiter was overwhelmed and in the end the check was charging 2 extra drinks. experience was not so good :(
It's not the first time that we went, last time everything was much better.
Overall good but we order first the apetizers and then the entres and they brought one entre at the beginning so we return it and instead of making a new one they gave us the old that was sitting ther for a while and tasted awfull.
My husband and I went for 7:15 dinner with another couple. The dress code said Miami chic. Well, there were trashy looking people in cut offs and bathing suits. Too expensive for the loud music and noise. We couldn’t hear our selves speak. Okay for a lively bar, but no one well dressed there.... food was good, but overpriced.
The ladies (hostess) definetly need to learn a thing or two. They tried sitting us in the bottom floor where they was no one. We said absolutely not. So when we went back upstairs they were so rude. The hostess said they had 200 reservation and they could not sit us. I said i have reservations. She said i needed to specify where to sit. After all this agony another lady came and told us that we could sit but only for a 2 and half hour window because they had another party coming. We said yes. At the end there was empty tables and we were never rushed. I still wonder what was this all about and the unessafy rudeness.
Not to crazy about the food of the brunch. I would of preferred to have ordered from the menu.
Drinks were great only if made at the bar. Service was poor as they did not feel like serving you - they wanted you out as soon as you got in. Food over priced - not that great considering its such a huge kitchen and have some experienced chefs.
Best Mexican restaurant I have ever ate at. Highly recommend the ribeye. Nothing less than amazing.
Booked a table for a birthday celebration. The service is always OK but the food is mediocre, just ridiculous for two vegetables to pay $30. We went there only to wait for the mariachi, who are AMAZING!!!!!!
They start at 9 pm till 11. I hated to pay for the disgusting food but I loved the mariachi who sang songs for my birthday boy. So, in general don't go there hungry because you will not get ANYTHING tasty or unique but the mariachi, the ambiance, the crowd is worth it...for a special occasion.
Very good ambience, live music, lot of nice people
Mariachis experience should be just 1 or 2 songs. You can even talk with the one in front of you because of the noise.
Excessively loud, but it’s fun and vibrant. Great food. Guard your drinks, though ... staff is quick to clear them before they’re empty and then ask if you want another. We left wondering if it was strategic.
Excellent services and mariachis group.
The food was very good too.
Drinks are terrible, mostly. The Marg
The service was very poor. We had to ask 3 times for chips. It was almost as if they could
Care less and didn’t want us there
I went for my birthday so I thought it would be special. However, the service was absolutely terrible and ruined the experience. As excellent as the food was, I feel bad for the chef. You could see how much effort the cook staff placed versus the hosting/wait staff. Loved the food but I won’t be back.
