Cantina La Veinte
With the leading role, we have our monumental bars along with one of the larges tequila and mezcal selection in town and our bar manager created delicious and sophisticate cocktails.
Every cantina is a cultural expression of the place where it is found.
Gastronomy-wise, we have an extensive menu of Mexican Cuisine dishes, offering representative dishes of each state of the country, with traditional techniques and recipes (handmade tortilla, sauces made in a molcajete ), along with avant-garde techniques such as vacuum cooking, spherification, foam, etc. We constantly update our menu and the chef’s recommendations with new and top quality ingredients.

The live music (the mariachis) was the main reason for us to go I we do not enjoy it, looks like was a cheep one because the did not even get close to us
Food came and was not too hot. A little pricey for what you get.
Service was a bit slow. Hard to get servers attention despite giving a pretty solid effort. Food was hit or miss. I couldn't justify the price for the food, but the ambiance is worth the price. Great drinks too! Mariachi band took a bit long to make their way downstairs but put in a great show once they did.
Birthday dinner with friends
Good gourmet style Mexican food.
Drinks are great!!!
Elizabeth at the bar is wonderful!
Very disappointing. Fixed lunch menu only, limited items.
The food is a real disaster, Mexican people please do not go
The restaurant is suppose to open at 12 noon on weekdays, so when i went there was 12:05 and when i walked in, a gentleman, i assume he was the manager, approached me and said the restaurant is still not open? wow really? well what are the hours? it clearly states the restaurant has to open daily at 12. So i had to wait till 12:10. The service was also very poor, as one server started to wait on me, and later he said that another server will continue without giving me further explanation why is that? which made me very unwelcomed. I felt very unwelcomed and uninvited there. Will not come back and please do not reply at all.
Food was exceptional. Noise level made conversation difficult but still a great experience
First year anniversary
It was an amazing night... the place just gives you energy.
This is a very nice Mexican style restaurant but it does have some drawbacks. To start with it’s very expensive. The food is good but not exceptional. Downstairs the room is very dark and the print on the menu time. Well we all have cell phones I suppose.
Service is ok but a bit unfriendly.
Waiter George was excellent. My vegan cilantro rice with vegetables was very tasty.
Also for vegans I recommend the beet salad.
I told George I was vegan and he did an excellent job making sure all my food was right.
Not happy with the place... I would send a private note to business owner
Good food, good music.
Loved the experience! Best Margaritas in town!!! Our waiter, Julio, was great giving us advice on what drinks and food to order. Definitely coming back!
Perfect like always. I never miss Cantina La 20 while visiting Miami.
El guacamole estuvo muy malo. Pedimos que nos lo cambiaran y el mesero no quiso hacerlo. La comida en general no estuvo rica.
Nos cobraron doble en la tarjeta de crédito.. nos dimos cuenta dos dias después.
Lunch menu is similar to Miami Spice where you choose 3 courses from a set list. Food is great, however this is NOT a good place for a quick lunch.
En realidad fue una cena familiar
Delish and very good service. Live music and good drinks
The service at brunch was terrible. I used to love eating here. I had made reservations for 3:45 not knowing that they only serve brunch (new thing) Thankfully I got there early because the KITCHEN closeses at 3:30. And the restaurant doesn't open till 6. So, how can they accept a reservation at 3:45 if they don't even have food to serve?! ANYWAYS, we ordered some food early but at 3:35 someone at my table wanted to order more food and drinks and the waiter said no. That the kitchen was closed... A heads up that the kitchen closed at 3:30 would have been appreciated because I left the restaurant hungry and very upset, had to then go to another restaurant to eat. So service was terrible. They should advertise when you make the reservation that you will only be receiving a brunch menu if you go before 6. Very upsetting.
No volveremos.
Beautiful decor and great view overlooking the water and Brickell Key . Lively atmosphere, good food, great service and live music. Very fun for a birthday celebration.
Went on Halloween and they had a huge party going on that night i was not aware of. They placed us next to the stairs and we requested to be moved. They put us at a table towards the water and it was great view and much better area. The server was great and very attentive. The food was wonderful and just as expected. Overall would go back again.
Great halloween decorations and ambiance. Great party and music
The waitstaff was absolutely horrendous. They rolled their eyes at us when we ordered appetizers only. We asked about the free margaritas which were served in the bar only, when we asked if we could order them in the bar and bring to our table she rudely replied no. We had a baby with us and the noise level was deafening even for an adult. I would come here only if you’re ready to party and don’t mind pretentious rude service. Won’t ever return.
Exceptional service! They went above and beyond to make our dinner special. It was my friend’s birthday and the amazing mariachi band sung happy birthday to him, and sang another song after! Amazing! Will be back, thank you.
Wonderful experience and food
Food was pricey for what you get. Service was ok. They messed up a few things and gave us bottled water even though we asked for tap and charged us $25 for it.
It’s a food experience!! I loved it. 100%
Excellent service and the margaritas are phenomenal !
They no longer have Mariachis for brunch. The tab for four was over $450. Although the food is OK, definitely not worth it without the Mariachi. Save your money, you can easily find brunch with a view and ambiance for half the money.
It can be a nightmare to get a table. Margaritas are great otherwise.
Wow. What a meal and what service. We decided to go “omakase” style which is not an option on the menu but was offered by our fantastic waiter. He brought us on a culinary journey through the best of from the menu, split into 4 equal portions for our group. Simply outstanding.
We love Cantina la 20 but the Margarita was truly disappointing. I always used to have my Margarita there...was so special... They used to be outstanding and I this time it wasn’t worth the price. The rest of the food and drinks were great as usual.
Mariachi band was a little obnoxious
