We've dined here many times and always enjoy. It's the best Mexican around by far. The food is always very consistent and they use quality ingredients. We love it.
Had a fantastic dinner at Canting Feliz!! The mushroom huarache is one of the best things I have ever eaten!! It hits all the flavor senses!! My husband and I also had tried the two tacos for the “taco madness tournament”. Both were delicious and so very different it’s hard to say which was better. The Korean BBQ Mahi was amazing bc I like spicy flavors, but I definitely enjoyed the freshness and milder flavor of the shrimp taco. You can’t go wrong:-)
We love the service and the food at Cantina! It truly is one of our favorite restaurants!!
Server gave us info on menu so we could make a great choice . Food was excellent, Ceviche was amazing. Guacamole exceptional. Had Carne Amada and it was delicious. Chicken with mole sauce was so tender you didn’t need a knife. Def can’t wait to go back!
Cantina Feliz has survived at the Ft. Washington location longer than any of its predecessors, no doubt because upscale Mexican food is in, their dishes are predictably good although not gourmet, the service is decent, the environment nice, and there is always a vibe.
Great food! Waiter was very nice. They were very busy at lunch but they kept the pace up.
Very fresh tasting tacos, deliscious corn soup & tortilla soup. Chicken enchiladas we're disappointing; very little chicken
Cantina Feliz is one of our favorite go-to restaurants. The food is always fresh and delicious, as are the margaritas and cocktails. Each and every time we go, which is often, we are left impressed and can't wait to go back.
Very authentic, cozy, nice atmosphere. Good service.
The food is outstanding. The Guac was perfect. The soup divine and the shrimp tacos magnificent. MMMM.
Had a nice dinner with my son! Good food, and great ambience!!
In overall everything was delicious no complains about it. Brisket tacos were out of this world and my sweet plantains were good. Fun place to definitelly will be back.
(I just wish that our waitress had been more attentive and probably noticed that I didn’t touch my drink and she would have offered something else instead, giving this opportunity that “was my birthday”, which I repeated it many times)
Great great place to be with friends. Very relaxed and lay back !
I just don't get why this Mexican Restaurant is so highly rated by Philadelphia Inquirer Food Critic Craig Laban. Hasn't he had Mexican food at other restaurants? It is good but nothing extraordinary that you couldn't get elsewhere including some better Mexican Chain Restaurants. Don't make a special trip but dine here if you are in the area. Watch the Happy Hour Specials when it comes time to paying the Bill. They have a habit of charging regular prices.
Great menu choices & every dish we've had was delicious. Service is great & it's the restaurant is priced right.
Loved it per usual. Attentive staff, go atmosphere, delicious food and sangria.
We had a delicious meal. The service was friendly and attentive. We will surely be back
best margaritas around and awesome food. love this place
Went here for Restaurant Week—the food was delicious and i recommend the fish tacos!!
We ate there Saturday night and the place was packed, but the way the rooms divide up the noise level was low. The Tuna guacamole was very good, I thought that the tuna was gilding the lily but my son loved it. I had the steak tacos they were self assemble and they were good, the portion size was large. I had the Corn side dish and my son had the refried beans which could have been a meal in themselves. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Over all a good place, I shall return.
Delicious options for Ambler Restaurant Week dinner. Great value for a 3 course meal. We will do this again!
Went to meet a friend for restaurant week. The menu was quite extensive, the service was above par, and the food came out very quickly. I had the ceviche which was very fresh and clean tasting. My friend had the crab fundida which was amazing. For the main course, I had the brisket tacos which were delicious. I had a couple traditional margeritas which were very tasty and had some kick to them. I would advise going during happy hour as there was about a $2 discount on the margeritas vs regular price, but definitely worth it.
Amazing food, drinks and food drink runners! Our server had An awful attitude stating when asked if she would like to take our dinner order said I can walk and chew gum at the same time! The food was amazing just wish we had a different server!
First of all, the entire staff was super friendly and helpful! The housemade guacamole and chips were an amazing starter!! While I thought it an interesting taco choice, the Mushroom Tacos with asparagus were very tasty. I really enjoyed the touch of cheese and the flavor of the mushrooms. The asparagus was a little crunchy but I did enjoy the added flavor. I would definitely get this dish again.
Great food! Awesome Margaritas!! Super kid friendly :)
We had such a great time here. Met up with some friends for restaurant week and so glad that this was our choice! 3 courses for only $24 and the servings were pretty sizable. The staff were a lot of fun, too - thanks for putting up with our tortilla chip obsession. We got a pitcher of sangria which was perfect for three people. It was pretty packed for a Tuesday, so I would imagine it's even busier on the weekends - I would recommend making a reservation. We will definitely be coming back!
Ambler Restaurant Week
We had a mini birthday party for a friend. The food, window seat, and service were all great. We had a fun, relaxing meal and celebration. Our server was friendly, attentive, but not intrusive which was the perfect balance of service. Thank you.
The guacamole and white sangria were delicious. But the service was rushed, the atmosphere on the porch where we were seated was bland and sterile, and the fish tacos were the worst I've ever eaten.
Excellent food, so many guacamole choices! Margaritas are exactly what you want.
Not the best for large group reservations, would recommend calling at least 1-2 weeks in advance for parties larger than 4.
Our server was first class. Polite, efficient and really good!
Great Mexican food that is clearly several notches above most other places in the area. Focus is on fresh ingredients and amazing subtlety in spices. Highly recommended!
Very good guacamole! And the bacon and Brussel Sprouts Huarache is excellent!
Great local place for mexican food. The food is consistently good. Best nachos I've ever eaten. The fish tacos were delicious, almost as good as the ones we had on the beach in Islamorada.
Great menu for drinks and food, even for folks with eating restrictions
Totally enjoyed ourselves! Siblings and spouses gathered to take our mother out. The atmosphere was fun. Food and drinks were great! Standouts were the Brisket Nachos, Chorizo Queso Fundido and the Bass special. Wish we had known about the pig...we SO would have ordered one (3 days in advance). Next time!
They really have the best guacamole (which is notably cheaper at lunch) and I love their chips. There are many types of tequilla although I am quite happy with their regular Margarita. They serve some creative entrees. We enjoyed the Bacon & Brussels Sprouts Huarache and Brisket Enchiladas. I previously had the fish tacos which were wonderful. The decor is bright and colorful.
We always love a fun dinnner at Cantina my family and I come regularly and enjoy it very much. Definitely get chip & guac for the table! The mushroom huarache is seriously one of the best things I have ever eaten...we get it everytime and love it!! The tuna cevich tacos are outstanding (my son actually gets 2 orders of them as his entree). The grilled chicken (that I alway add to the Chop salad and it comes with the El Carbon taco) is the most tender and delicious grilled chicken you will ever eat...not an exaggeration!!
We love Cantina! The food and service are always excellent.
Some places in the restaurant can get noisy. Food and service consistently excellent.
