CANTINA 229 IS A SMALL, FARM & RESTAURANT SERVING CASUAL BUT INTENTIONAL FARE, DRINKS, AND FUN!

Cantina 229’s marriage of thoughtful, farm-to-table, world inspired menu options with casual location-inspired atmosphere make a kind of rural destination dining experience that can’t be compared to anything else in the Berkshires. True casual fine dining dining, lawn games, bonfires, wood stove, great bar, and choice of community style or private seating make this restaurant intriguing to many different people from diverse backgrounds and in any season.

Due to COVID-19, we are now taking reservations for outdoor dining under our beautiful tent, and offering to go food for pick up at the restaurant.

    Incredible experience from an innovative chef/restaurateur who has prevailed through the most difficult time for restaurants in our history. Beautiful outdoor deck, impeccable food and drink in a bucolic setting in the Berkshires. They just get better and better.

    Cantina 229 is one of my favorite restaurants on earth. Great food, great ambiance, great staff. The chef-owner Josh has created a special place--a true sanctuary for the local community and a home away from home.

    We LOVE cantina229. This was our second time to Taco Monday under the tent and it was fantastic. We brought our family this time and they loved how "safe" it felt to eat here, and how gorgeous the grounds are! Thank you so much for working so hard for us! The food is delicious, the setting is beautiful, and the staff is SO friendly and knowledgeable!

    They have a great open tent with social distance tables. The food was so very tasty and fresh. Can’t wait to go there again.

    We are ecstastic to be able to dine at Cantina again! The shorter menu is filled with excellent choices (delicious all) and the spacing outdoors feels very safe. Setting is just beautiful, and the service was indeed outstanding.
