Fabulous creative food. The new My menu courses were all delicious. Service was excellence with Aloha.
CanoeHouse was the BEST meal we had while visiting the island!! The service, staff, cocktails, food and overall experience were top notch!! Great way to end our final dinner!
Fantastic food and setting. Both fish entrees were excellent as were corn ribs 'pull apart bread. A go to place.
Beautiful, delicious, and elegant.
Amazing service, delicious food. Totally recommend
The setting, service, and food did not disappoint! We love Canoe House. It is the best restaurant on the island.
Overpriced. Food ok. Great setting.
Within the Mauna lani Auberge resort, this is my favorite restaurant on island. Best food and ambience. It’s always a great time
We loved the six course tasting and can’t wait to return and try more dishes. The view of the ocean was gorgeous and we were so glad to be there at sunset. Everyone was very friendly and every element of the meal was impeccable. We especially loved the panna cotta dessert.
One of the best dinners we’ve had on the island in a while.
Great food, service and ambiance. Prices are HIGH.
Great ambiance. Sunset at seaside, can’t beat that! Food was delicious and service was pretty good too.
Wonderful as always!
Beautiful restaurant, amazing food, incredibly rediculously expensive
Our favorite restaurant on the island! The food is fabulous, and the setting on the lanai is absolutely beautiful.
Amazing experience. We ordered a variety of dishes so we could taste as many as possible and loved everything!
Outside with incredible view , tables well spaced,
$22 mixed green salad and $16 bread! The prices are eye-popping for à la carte…and not entirely justified, even in this luxurious island destination. Service is sloooow and service quality appears to depend on who you are and which server you get (some seemed to always be around and very cheerful…ours never was around to check on us or put us in a better mood). My guess is you get more attention if you’re a regular or an Auberge guest. We were neither. Several cocktails and dishes are excellent (warayaki is a must!), and the atmosphere is downright enchanting. You’re paying to be at the golden dining spot of the Gold Coast. It’s a classic Auberge splurge…and a 50/50 chance of being magical, or one where you’re disappointed and leave wondering why you just spent $150-200 a person there.
Wonderful dining experience. Setting, menu, service, food were outstanding.
Absolutely stunning setting to enjoy a delicious meal. Sublime evening from start to finish.
Excellent food and service. Setting is stunning. Highly recommend.
Favorite meal experience on the Big Island. We had excellent service, the meal was fantastic, and then add the atmosphere. It was a perfect night.
I went with a vegan friend (I'm not vegan) and most of our dishes were from their vegan menu. We were very happy with the offerings we chose. We had the Kahuku Corn Ribs, Crispy Maitake Mushrooms, Tatsoi Oyster Mushroom Nabe, and Mushroom and Tofu Smoking Pot. They were all excellent. I did opt for a non-vegan dessert, Hawaii Island Goat Cheese Mousse. That was amazing. They also veganized their panna cotta dessert for my friend and she absolutely loved that as well. Beautiful ambiance, excellent and friendly service, and scrumptious yummies.
Lamb chop entrees and side order of vegetables were over seasoned and very salty. Could not eat. Sashimi and gyoza appetizers were great.
Excellent food. A little expensive. Overall was a very nice experience.
Was the best dining experience that we have had in years. The view was breath taking. Service was 5 star and food was exceptional. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Best restaurant on the big island. Go for the prix fix menu
Beautiful scenery, wonderful service. It’s expensive but for a special occasion or splurge, worth it.
The radish salad was excellent, kampachi not so much. I miss the old canoe house. Ambiance has been improved slightly but not the food. Their special fried rice in a sizzling dish was barely warm.
Beautiful oceanfront dining with outstanding food. Can't wait to go back!
We stumbled upped this restaurant inside the Mauna Lani hotel. The food was excellent! And the portion was surprisingly generous.
We ate there twice this week. It’s even more beautiful than it was be!ore.
The food is a teensy bit try hard, as was our waiter, but you can’t beat the experience.
Fantastic as always! The chefs special Ono was delicious. The oysters are the best I’ve ever had. We were rewarded with a breathtaking sunset as well!
The food, atmosphere and scenery... what you would expect from a great restaurant...
We ordered the fixed price menu. Everything was excellent except for the fish and meat course. The fish (ono) was dry as a result of being overcooked. The beef was a bit tough to chew. Would probably not return as there are better options for less money.
Everything was outstanding. Food superb and service was outstanding. Above what you would expect at a high end restaurant.
Can’t imagine a more special setting for a beautiful evening!
Best food around. But you pay for it.
Had a wonderful meal celebrating anniversary. Absolutely would return and recommend over and over.
