They didn’t do a great job on vegetarian meal. Took too long to get a glass of wine and the service was just mediocre for the price. Not sure I need to go back.

Clayton, our server was incredible. The restaurant was slammed, but he made us feel that we were the only people there. He is such an attribute to Canoe. As always, the food was exceptional. This is such a special place to share a Sunday brunch. Taylor, the hostess, is always so sweet and professional in welcoming us. The entire staff is always on point. Don’t miss an opportunity to experience this very special opportunity.

Booked for brunch to celebrate 51st anniversary. We ordered a pastry basket and 1 Riverside and 2 crispy shrimp salads. We felt rushed because the bread basket arrived and as we prepared to sample it, the waiter arrived with our entrees. The Riverside was served on a platter with the scrambled eggs, hash browns, French toast and bacon laying on top. What a messy and unappetizing presentation! The shrimp salad was on a bed of very wet and spicy slaw. We told the waiter that it was too spicy and he said he would let the chef. I tried their signature dessert - popcorn ice cream sunday. My husband had the sorbet. Both desserts were no big deal. Canoe is living off its location and beautiful grounds.

Being able close to nature while enjoying your food, then this is the place to be! Their pecan sticky bun has that perfect combination of crusty outside and soft inside and whipped honey butter added that extra yumminess!

The restaurant setting is amazing. Sited on the river with a garden full of flowers, birds, and charming paths. It’s a beautiful location that is idyllic. Unfortunately the food is just ok. We were a party of three. I had the Chicken Cobb Salad. The salad part was delicious. But the chicken was so dry, tough, and tasteless that I didn’t eat it. I had to ask for dressing because it was forgotten. Another person ordered the hamburger. It was large with beautiful lettuce, tomato, onion on the side. It was so overcooked that less than half was eaten. The third person ordered the daily special of Halibut. A nice large piece of fish with a semi sweet citrus sauce. It was good. The service was excellent. We had a waiter and a waiter in training so we really lucked out in service. Impeccable service. The takeaway from our experience was fair. The setting is beautiful. Excellent service. Food mediocre.

Dinner was excellent. Fantastic suggestions, one of which has been on the menu since Canoe was founded almost 30 years ago and we saw why! Services was stellar and was pleasantly surprised at the overall experience.
