Food and service were great! It’s a bit noisy, although that’s to be expected I think. The noise level wouldn’t keep me from going back or recommending Cannon Green to others.

This is such a gorgeous restaurant and the food is amazing! We enjoyed a fantastic Sunday brunch. The lemon blackberry pancakes were over the top good. The service was equally as good. We will be back!!
SO pleased with everything about my experience here. The food is delectable and the perfect culinary experience with appropriate portions, the service is outstanding, and the restaurant is gorgeous. We had my bachelorette dinner here and I couldn't be happier.

Went here to check out for a potential venue for my husband’s company meeting coming up. Well I may never have come here on my own because it wasn’t on my radar, but it was excellent. Small menu, but something for everyone. Service was great, food was excellent and innovative. Ambiance was modern, but with a touch of history, that’s all I’ll say. Would highly recommend Cannon Green when you’re visiting Charleston.
Good ambience and setting, it was quiet when we first got there. They have a brunch DJ and the decor is perfect. The food was very good but not so amazing to fit the price point. But still very good. I’d recommend trying out this place at least once.
In town for the weekend for a girls weekend. We enjoyed our experience so much! Delicious and a beautiful setting!
We had a lovely anniversary dinner. The food was delicious - interesting takes on traditional food. The restaurant itself is open and bright, beautifully decorated. And the service was excellent!

Brunch was way too noisy for our party of 6 to have a conversation - the DJ’s music was uncomfortably loud. We like music for ambience but the noise was more appropriate for a big party or a wedding!
The food was disappointing. The kids shared a burger but it was as plain as plain could be. No lettuce, tomato or onion is on offer so you get a plain, greasy burger with cheddar cheese on top. As for my dish of shrimp and grits, that was a miserable affair. If the menu had said deconstructed shrimp and grits, I maybe would have expected what I got. If you are after a silky dish of creamy grits smothered with a smoky bacon roux, topped with shrimp and green onions as a garnish, this is not for you. I had an insipid dish of bland grits, covered with some shrimp and heavily “garnished” with two of three tablespoons of chopped parsley and a few blushed cherry tomatoes as a chimichurri. The overall dish was bland and was only eaten to avoid wasting food.
Overall, this was not a restaurant I will return to. It seems like the food is an afterthought, all 6 of us were very disappointed for our Father’s Day lunch. The decor was nice, really the only thing going for it and our waiter was very good, but if you looking for great food, this is not the place.

Cannon Green was, as always, a delight. My wife and I were celebrating our one year anniversary and could not have been happier with the service and food.
We had an exceptional dinner from food to drink to service. Highest praise goes to the beef medallions that my husband ordered; the sides of eggplant and potatoes made for a most happy camper. The squash blossoms were a terrific surprise: great presentation and taste! There was a great offering of drinks, especially the Scotch sour (name escapes us). We wrapped with the ice cream sandwich du jour which was a wonderful end to the meal.
Enjoyed a birthday brunch at Cannon Green and we were not disappointed. From the food, to the service, to the ambiance, this place gets an A+! Will definitely be revisiting in the future!

This was a great dining location for our anniversary. The steak was cooked perfectly and the desert and drinks were also incredible. Our waiter was excellent at keeping up with us and the atmosphere of the restaurant is very calming and relaxing. Lots of greenery and fresh plants around, as well as a lovely bar in the back.

We made a special point to go to Cannon Green this year after a wonderful experience last year. This year my husband’s beef dish was served cold. The beef was drowned in soy sauce. My trout was just so-so. Neither dish was worthy of the restaurant’s ambiance or price.
The food was incredible!!! Our server forgot a lot, he forgot our coffees, bloody Mary’s and orange juice at three different times of ordering. Our food also took way longer then our neighboring tables, which were larger and arrived after us, so we assume he forgot that as well! But your food made up for that awful experience, my eggs Benedict was incredible! Thank you!
This was a mother's day brunch, and at $45 per person was not worth the price. Selections were limited and several items not done well. Service was spotty for a restaurant only half full.
We had done Mother's day brunch here before and enjoyed it--this year, not so much. Won't be back for another brunch.

Only criticism is that they had a DJ playing rather loud dance music that made it hard to have a conversation.
The food was so so. The atmosphere is the attraction. The waitress highly recommended the cabbage steak, saying it’s something she craves. It was terrible. Not only terible, but gave me excruciating gas I’m still dealing with days later. I’m pregnant so I am in major agony. Do not eat the cabbage steak! Unless you are a cabbage nut!

Exceptional service, great meal, beautiful setting.
Our wonderful dinner started at the door with valet parking. (It is the norm to have trouble finding parking on the Charleston peninsula.). We chose the tasting menu and were not disappointed. We started with an open face lobster roll, followed by a kale salad (it was delicious and we don’t really care for kale!). Our third course was a velvety smooth cauliflower soup topped with beef croutons. Next was ‘surf and turf’——seared scallop with celery root purée and beef tenderloin with chickpea purée—finished with a wine reduction. Our dinner was finished with a creme fresh ice cream sandwich. It was a great value for the price. The ambience was beautiful. As the night wore on the room became noisy.
We had a spectacular time at dinner! Would totally recommend the ribs and the octopus. The pasta was perfect. And the service was friendly, cheerful, and welcoming.
This had been my favorite of all the wonderful restaurants in Charleston. Unfortunately, the chef changed and with that the menu and food have gone from sublime to just mediocre. Example is the beet salad. Under the former chef this was one of the two best dishes I have eaten in my life and since I am a foodie that is saying a lot. Ingredients the same but the burata was grainy, beets instead of small and exquisite overpowered the other ingredients and the “everything bagel” sprinkles on the top were lacking. Supreme of citrus also on salad was buried and in pieces and only a few pomegranate seeds. Entrees ordered by the 4 in our party were unremarkable. Former chefs chicken was fabulous and there is not even a chicken dish on this menu.. so disappointing as we love Kelly who provided fabulous service and the space is beautiful. Sure hope food improves.

This is probably the most beutiful, extremely well designed space. Let’s just say that historic rustic fascade of a building as an interior focal point element is brilliant and sets a tone for an amazing experience. In my personal opinion the space of this caliber calls for a menu full of surprises. That being said Sunday brunch menu could use little extra dare I say - creativity. Hate that word, but shrimp and grits and eggs bennedict (wink wink for the addition of strawberry „jam”) could use extra fun. Both dishes in overall seemed too simple and straight forward. Charleston has so many great menus around, but space so beautiful and bright is a gem. Shout out to the host, who seemed to have everything under control, though the servers seemed a bit overwhelmed.
