This is a cute place with a bit of a gourmet take on Trini food. Most of our dishes were very good. The pelau and escoveitch fish were the real stars. The jerk was perfectly spiced but a little overcooked. The oxtail was well spiced, had some crispiness and bite to it and served more like short rib . Although not traditional, very tasty. The drinks were excellent. The only disappointment was the crispy kale recommended by our server. Next time, I'm definitely trying the cabbage instead.

The food was delicious! We went for lunch and had the wings, beef patty, jerk wing bowl, and chicken parathi (I think). We also tried the rum punch. Everything was wonderful. Lots of flavor and cooked well. I enjoyed the fact that the rum punch wasn’t sickly sweet and went well with the food. I’ll absolutely be back to try other things on the menu and also for dinner.

Went for a work dinner and it was amazing! Our clients couldn’t stop talking about the food and my boss (who grew up in Jamaica) said it was the best food he’s had outside of Jamaica.

My party had a tremendous time celebrating our guest of honor's high school graduation. Delicious food and attentive but unobtrusive service!

Cane is a solid choice for having a casual but classy lunch or dinner date. The food came remarkably fast and was outstanding. The cocktails were delicious as well. It is very small so make sure to make a reservation but during the early dinner (Happy Hour) time it was not crowded. I've been twice and won't mind going back again and again when I am in the mood for tasty carribean dishes.
