Great food! Cool ambiance. Really enjoyed the place - will def go back.
The appetizers were fabulous and the pizza was probably one of the best we've had. We definitely plan to return!
Saw Diners Drive-ins and Dives—thought worth checking out as passing thru their Houston location. First very easy to find, great parking, family friendly bright interior with bar to other side and AMAZING pizza and salads. This restaurant is well worth planning a stop for!! We have moved to Waco and will make plans to visit their other locations. We cant wait. PLEASE come to Waco??????
The restaurant was laid out like a warehouse, we went at 730 on a Saturday night- very very loud, and there were so many unattended kids, running around, screaming, it was unbearable
Service was slow and waiter was not attentive. They brought the pizza out 15 minutes before the pasta
It was amazing
We really enjoyed the food when it came. The problem was the server was new, so he had some issues. I ordered an appetizer for my meal, and it came out as the appetizer for the table. Then the appetizer for the table became my meal.
There were 4 of us, and one person didn't get their meal until after everyone else had finished eating!
The manager was very good and worked hard to make things right, including assurance of better training and discounting our meals.
We actually enjoyed the whole experience and will come back for the food.
Some of the best pizza in Houston! Just make sure they mark you “present” for your reservation because they forgot to do ours.
There was only one young man working the entire restaurant. He did an amazing job, as much as he could do, but the service was super slow. Not sure where other staff was but this made the experience not as great I was expect. Food and drinks didn’t come out in a timely manner.
The service was awful. It 25 minutes after being seated to be acknowledged, another 10 to get (incorrect) drinks. We had dirty plates and no silverware. Pizza was decent , but a bit burned. It took another 10 to get bill after we were finished.
Service not as good as usual this time and very noisy. But, we LOVE their pizza!
Waitress was terrible— slow, inattentive, brought us the wrong food. TV sound was on— very annoying. Food is always good, but the service is mediocre to bad.
The pizzas are very good. The meatballs are great. Wine list ok. The value for what you get is excellent. I would return again.
Drinks were great, pizza was good but crust was soggy in middle, and spaghetti pasta texture was like ramen noodles-weird. Not what i expected for price.
great variety of pizzas, thin crust, nice ambiance, good selection of beers
Out of house wine? And we had to wait for wine glasses to come out of dishwasher.
Servicer kept rushing us although restaurant wasn’t crowded. Salad out after pizza’s. Out of cookies for the desert. And then we we did need service she was tending bar.
Brussel sprouts were amazing!
Below par & not worth the drive. Pizza just so-so...
Disappointed. Pizza crust was soggy. Picked up slice it was limp and everything wanted to slide off. Ordered calamari and husband liked it but it was way over deep fried. Hard to eat and calamari was like chewing rubber. Will not return
It appeared there was only one server available on Monday night so the service was a bit slow.
Enjoyed the ambiance and the food.
Server was attentive, and drinks were good. But pizza took over 35 minutes to get, due to “Uber Eats orders”. Somehow, Uber Eats orders jumped every order in our section. And when we finally got our pizza, the crust was soggy. Taste was good, just soggy. Probably won’t return, too many pizzas in Houston that were better, and not have to wait for Uber Eats orders to get filled.
The food and drinks were outstanding. If you like brussel sprouts, be sure to order the appetizer.
Food was good but service was awful even though restaurant was almost empty.
The food was delicious but the service was pitiful. Our server did not check back on us once the food had been delivered until he came to clear the plates away. At that point, he did not ask if we needed anything else or even how the food had been. We waited at least 10 minutes and finally had to ask the manager to get our check for us because there was no sign of our server at all. This was only our second time here and the first time the service had been great. We may come back in the future because the food is so tasty but if the service hasn't improved that will probably be our last time.
Awesome place, food and staff!
Good value for money
Although the pizza was excellent, there was not much prosciutto on the pie. The salads were also excellent.
Great all the way around!
Fantastic service and food. Great pizza!
Great pizza, fresh toppings. I'll be back again and again
Excellent food and service.
Very casual, almost hipster, environment. GREAT food, wonderful service. We will be back again.
Food was just OK. The pizza crust is very thin and soggy in the middle. The outer crust is great though. The service was very slow and slow to give refills. Parking is HORRIBLE. The price is steep for what you get. There are better places for pizza. Not bad, but nothing special.
The food was pretty good. However the service was a bit lacking. After being seated it was over 5 min before the server came to the table. A manager was there however his attention to detail was lacking also. Would go back in hopes they read these reviews.
The pizzas are fantastic, but the fresh made pasta is a hidden star of the menu. The variety of appetizers is also impressive particularly compared with some of the other Cane Rosso locations. The kids menu is an exceptional value as well - the pizzas are nearly as large as the standard fare. The service was also very good. We were seated immediately and the food was out very quickly. The only possible down side is limited parking, but we got lucky enough for one of the few spots facing the storefront on a Saturday night.
For a VPN certified pizza joint this was the worst. 3 of 4 pizzas undercooked and luke warm. I was hoping for the best being from the northeast (who have the best pizza in the usa) but not to be born. B-A-D.
Floppy, salty thin crust pizza meets zero effort concrete interiors for a noisy and ultimately unsatisfying night out.
Food is great; however, the service is seriously lacking. Having to ask multiple times for the same thing is not ideal or acceptable in my book.
On of our favorite dinner or happy hour spots.. easy Friday night with a great vibe.
Great pizza, however the service didn’t match the food.
The food and service are both very good. Parking can be a problem sometimes but other than that,
it's a great place to eat. And the drinks are good.
