Food was great!! Service was good!! Noise level was high and it was hard to have a conversation
Overall good. Food was tasty and prices were fine. Our server (Jonny) was friendly and attentive.
First time here and will be back to try the pizzas. Funky, urban atmosphere. Clean bathrooms. Definitely make reservations for weekend meals.
Only slight hitch was parking. Between construction nearby and a very active area, parking in pretty sparse.
It was great
Nice location and great pizza. Parking can be a little tough but worth it
First time to try this place. Very impressed. Delicious pizza - crust was thin, but had a great texture. Wasn't too crisp, and the edges were the right level of chewiness. The ingredients are all top notch, and were in the right portions. I hate when more artisan-style pizzas have barely any of the nice ingredients. Although we didn't try one, the sandwiches and salads looked great at a neighboring table. The desserts sounded great on the menu, but we were too full this time after all the pizza. Very reasonable wine prices too. Looking forward to coming back to Cane Rosso!
We usually love Cane Rosso but the last couple of times have been poor at best. The pizza was barely cooked, the chicken looked “precooked” and had no flavor and the salads were not fresh. There also seems to be a very loud and immature crowd frequenting the Carrollton location lately - super loud, foul language and hats on at the table. Not a place for family dining imho. The only saving grace was the excellent service we had.
We asked for a round table in the online request, they called to make sure we got it and confirm we wanted it, tell us how many people could comfortably sit, etc. our waitress was amazing! She made sure we had everything we needed and was happy to bring food out as we ordered so we could figure out how much to have. Great prices, great atmosphere. We will be back!
Hockey puck biscuits
Second time at this location. Excellent food and service.
Restaurant always seems to be hot, no matter if it's summer or winter. Guess that pizza oven is working hard. Service was slow but food was delicious! There were some bugs flying around that we kept having to swat away but other than that, it's always a good place to eat.
Food and waitstaff was terrific, as always. I always forget how loud it can be in the main dining area. If you want to be able to have a comfortable conversation with your tablemates ask to be seated in the back room or on the heated patio.
My son took some friends for his birthday. They were trying to make a high school basketball tournament after. They ordered immediately but it took 35 minutes. He said the to-go orders were taking priority. It wasn’t the best experience. They would have ordered 3 more pizzas but couldn’t because the first round took so long.
It was a great experience! Best pizza!!
Best pizza & salad in the DFW area!!
Great Pizza, some unique toppings available too. Great for lunch or casual dinner.
Four of us were together, and it as a bad night. Server was working two large tables nearby. Took us 40 minutes to get appetizers, no drink refills, and only half the entrees were delivered. We finally had to ask the manager where the other entrees were, and they had been forgotten. The worst part was that a table next to us had arrived 20 minutes after us, yet the people were done with their entrees before we even got our appetizers.
The manager apologized for the horrible service and comp'ed one of the entrees and appetizers, but we won't be back. The experience was so egregious that, even if it was a one-off thing, it permanently tainted our view of the restaurant.
Food was great as always but service was a little slow and spotty. They were busier than they expected for that night but still could have been better. The pizza is always great though.
The wait staff was flexible. Our outside table was dirty when we arrived, and they were quick to clean and bring the menus.. Pizza was great, spinach artichoke dip great. I would definitely come back...
It was fine
Loved the food as always. Little loud when we first got there, but got better once people
started to leave
Incredibly noisy. Will not eat at this location again unless there is seating available outside.
Unfortunately the pizza crust was thinner than a corn tortilla. It was very greasy and hard to eat . I was very disappointed. I have been to the Fort Worth location; the food was much better.
We went to Cane Rosso with our teen grandkids. Food was good, service was excellent, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We especially liked the appetizer calamari. The pizza is large enough to have some left to take home. Check this place out, what a treasure right here in Carrollton!
It's not my kind of place. I didn't care for the decor and didn't think my food was very good. My granddaughter's pizza was very good though. The pasta was undercooked and sausage had no flavor. We have so many other choices of places to eat and locations. I don't care for the old downtown Carrollton area. My granddaughter and I had ice cream and sat outside on a bench people watching. Her description was that several people were sketchy. I won't be going back.
Food was amazing and vibes on the patio were good.
Delicious, authentic Napoletana pizza! Best I have had outside of Italy. And the salads are amazing, too! Best of all, not only do they cater to pups on their patio, but they allot some of their pizza sales proceeds to help rescue dogs. Buon appetito!
We used to live near the White rock location and went weekly. We now live inRichardson so tried the Carrollton location. Best decision!!! My son loves the angioleti but taken off menu. When visiting the star location ( not a fan) they told us new menu. Too bad. Here in Carrollton they made them for us!!!!! ( fried crust basically) anyway, our server was friendly and made my sons night!! Pizza was fresh and how I remembered it from white rock. We found our new location!! We will be back.
The food was so good and our server Shawn was so nice! He was very informative he knew all the combinations, he also recommended the fan favorite and we fell in love! He was very attentive and made us feel like this was our regular spot
The food is incredible at very reasonable prices and the staff are wonderful!
Wonderful experience. Great service, great food, great atmosphere.
My son and I really enjoyed our meal. It was our first time at this location.
Stop construction during lunch hour!!
Very good pizza (Neapolitan) and salads! Cold, cheap Lone Stars. No wait like in Deep Ellum. .
Service was slow however as always pies are delicious!
I reserved a table. It was nice they gave me a call to make sure i was still coming. when I arrived I decided to sit at the bar because it is near the oven and it is fun to watch the process of the pies being made. The waitress was awesome as well. The food is superb!
We first had Cane Rosso At food tasting and I couldn’t wait to try more! All the food was great at Carrollton restaurant but since there are several locations we’ll try another one next time. Staff was not friendly, they weren’t able to offer suggestion on what to try and we felt rushed. At 9:30 (when restaurant closes at 10pm) they were removing our plates without asking if we were done and sweeping around tables that still had patrons. But the Banana pudding alone is enough to make me go back again and again...just at a different location or maybe takeout!
I'm a frequenter at the Deep Ellum location, but I had friends in town and took them to this location. We were able to try some new pizzas that aren't on the Dallas menu, so that was fun. It was the same service, food and quality that we've come to expect at the Dallas location. Highly recommend!
Spinach Dip was delicious and pizza was awesome. Nice job on the dough!
