Really over exceeded expectations!! So delicious and waitstaff very friendly
We absolutely love Cane Rosso! They have the best Sicilian style pizza that I've found in Austin so far and their pasta dishes are just as delicious. You can't go wrong with the eggplant fries, either. The only downfall that we've found so far are their desserts. Nearly everything is in a jar and with the exception of the mud pie, which has ice cream and chocolate sauce, it's all super dry. Cannoli's and mud pies are fantastic, though!
Very nice birthday lunch with friends.
We went for Restaraunt Week. Had to ask for that menu. Waitress was nice but not super interested in service. It wasn't super crowded and service was on the slow side. This seems small but we asked for some extra salad dressing since the kale salad was a bit dry and they charged $1 extra for about 2 tablespoons of dressing. Good tasted fine. Good thing some $went as donation to food bank otherwise it
easy worth it.
Good just was not very good. Service was good. The $3 bloody and $1 mimosas for Brunch was good value. But the food was just not very good.
Food was good quality. The Eggplant Parm Fries and Fried Mozzerelka were yummy. Found out that Neopolitsn-style isn’t my favorite. Super thin and floppy crust. But it tasted fine. Service wasn’t that great. We had a table of 5 and our food came out at staggered times and some items were forgotten. They also don’t serve ranch - because “it would mess up their certification” (for the Neopolitan-style I guess). Which is okay but came off as pretentious. But the place is fine. Cool interior.
The wait staff is always pleasant but service is always slow. It takes too long between the time you are seated and greeted. And too long to get your drinks after you place your order. The food is fantastic. I love this place.
Square pizza is really square bread
Excellent food everything I tried... appetizers pizza pasta... loced it all
Our waitress was superb! Really a good mix of being there when we needed her and leaving us alone, plus she was very kind to give me tastes of two wines and was clever and cool. I loved the taste of my pizza (margherita with eggplant added) but the texture of the pizza was strange- really soft and did not hold up. Also, my leftovers at home were too soggy and weird to eat- and I love pizza left over. The rose I had was good, and the ambience was nice. Just wouldn't return for that pizza, I have to say.
Excellent, fresh food. Great drinks. Consistently fun and reasonably priced.
Brunch is freaking good, try the chicken and waffles! And $1 mimosas!
The waiter was not as attentive as we would have like..we began to sit an wait more than to enjoy the meals as something was always missing or delayed. The food was not as enjoyable. The waiter did not explain the dessert options well.
Go during brunch and get the chicken and waffles with $1 mimosas!
Poor service, poor quality food. Not worth the money way better places in Austin.
Favorite pizza in Austin! The staff was wonderful and accommodating.
We celebrated Mother’s Day here and had a fabulous experience! Everybody enjoyed what they ordered and our server was very attentive. We went during brunch so they had both the regular and the brunch menus available which was a great selection. We will definitely be back!
You might not expect a pizzeria to serve brunch. However, Cane Rosso has a brunch menu with creative options. Can't beat $1 mimosas! The food was delicious, the service was great and the atmosphere of the restaurant was upbeat.
Cane Rosso is a fun place for good NY style pizza. The fried artichokes are a great appetizer as are the mozerella. Best of all the place is filled with fun star wars decor. Fun place to take older kids for pizza.
The food is decent, management has a big problem figuring out how to target an audience due to the location. Management is completely missing. Rude hostess’, many people standing around doing nothing, best beer product hit and miss. Sorry, but we see a huge waste of money in what otherwise has potential. Simply poorly managed.
This was a family birthday gathering. We got a big corner booth which seated all of us comfortably, including space for multiple pizzas. We ordered and shared the pizzas and had several slices leftover. Service was prompt and attentive. The only challenge was getting glasses and plates from far side of table to server for pickup or water refill, but it didn’t interrupt the experience.
I went on a brunch date and everything about brunch was amazing. We ordered the chicken n waffles and the breakfast taco pizza. The chicken n waffles was out of this world (highly, highly recommend). The pizza was a lot of food (we ended up taking half of it home) and it tasted alright, not bad but not amazing. I think it's trying to be too much so the flavors are a little strange. The best thing of the whole brunch was the amazing drink deals... $1 mimosas and $5 carafes! I will definitely be going back for brunch and taking friends. The ambiance was nice and the service was good (our food came out really fast). Just remember, in Texas, they can't serve alcohol before noon without food on the table. For us, we were almost done eating by the time we got our drinks.
The dress code indicted casual elegant but forget the elegant when there are no table cloths on the table and the wait staff wear T shirts. The food is very good, the Pizzas look great although we didn't have any. It is a nice but very casual place, lends it's self more to Beer and Pizzas. There is ample seating and a nice patio with retractable plastic curtains for inclement weather. Great service.
The prix fixe for Valentine's day was pretty expensive. The quantity and quality of food was poor. My steak tasted ok, but I can make better at home. I'm not a chef and would pay $37.50 for something I've prepared. The service was ok, but I often felt like the waiter didn't really care about my questions or requests. He seemed like he was bored with us, and maybe had other places to be. The atmosphere felt like a boring Chili's.
Was not the best experience. Food was cold when served, wasn't that busy at 1:30 Sunday but still felt ignored.
Food was ok, felt it was lacking in flavor and seasoning. Drinks were great and service was great also
Good, a little hectic and slow
Slow kitchen, service is Ok . Waitress was distracted. Guy who brought the food was rude when he brought the wrong dish. Not sure why anyone would eat at this place.
I'm really glad we made a reservation through Open Table -- the place was packed. The pizza was good -- especially liked the flavor of the crust. I do wish they offered a choice of more toppings.
2 of our group were vegetarians. While there are some menu choices, the waitstaff noted that anything could be done vegetarian - just leave meat off/out. I had the Brussells Sprouts appetizer done vegetarian - excellent! Also enjoyed the Elote casserole. Rest of group had pizzas and salad. All very good. WIll go back. Have already told others.
Good food, unique and tasty culinary creations using good ingredients. The service was impeccable.
The food was good but even in an almost empty restaurant we had to go searching for our server a few times to order food. Their mimosa deal was good value but not enough to bring us back. If you are going to shell out $50 for brunch, the service should match the price tag.
We loved everything...Brussels sprouts, rigatoni and pizza!!!
I’ve been here many times. The food never disappoints but our server was pretty absent most of the dinner. I ended up finally getting up to pour myself water from a pitcher. I also asked for a side of Calabrian Aioli with my appetizer - which never came - so I asked for it with the pizza - and it still never came. I ended up flagging down another server (because ours was nowhere to be found) and she brought it.
All in all, good pizza, ok service.
The pizza was great . Also great happy hour options
Caesar salad wasn’t as good as it has been in the past. Lots of brown lettuce stems and not enough dressing.
Great food and service!
We LOVED our dinner! We got the High Roller, which is a giant pizza with 3 kinds of pizza off the menu. It fed 6 of us and each one was delicious! The waiter was prompt and great with refilling drinks. We sat outside and loved the lighting and feel of the seating and area. Definitely coming back as soon as possible!
We enjoyed our meal. The food was good. We had a strange experience with getting a beer. The waitress brought it half full and said the bartender said that’s how they fill it. We asked the manager and she said, no that’s right. I also noticed a weird odor near our table, but no one else smelled it. I would go back. Food was delicious.
