   Excellent service. We ordered a variety of tapas and the squid ink paella. Everything was delicious. Will definitely return on our next visit to Fort Lauderdale.

   We went to Candela's many years ago when it first opened and returned another time. It was great both times. That was about 4-5 years ago. However, it has changed. It has turned into a Cuban cafe (as advertised on a sign) that plays Reggaeton and Columbian music. The sangria was basically melted ice. When they attempted to fix it, they just added bad wine. I ordered a glass of Ribera Del Duero red wine, which was OK. I asked for another one and they brought me a completely different red wine. I didn't finish it. They got one of our tapas orders wrong. The fish croquets were basically mush, with no bacalao, zero. We had to ask for condiments such as olive oil and vinegar. We were never asked if we needed anything or if everything was fine. The service was ambivalent. They were not busy and we can see why. The decor is dated and dusty. We will not go back.

   This is a great Spanish restaurant. Whether tapas or entrees, the food is fresh and well- prepared; portions generous enough to share or take home. Prices very reasonable. The staff is warm and attentive; service is excellent. Don't be put off by the "hole in the wall" exterior. There's a gem inside!

   The sea bass with seafood risotto was perfectly seasoned and served hot and delicious. As usual the cod croquettas were heavenly. Everything is well prepared and beautifully served. The staff is extremely polite, friendly, and helpful. The restaurant has gone to a great deal of trouble creating a very charming and authentic Spanish ambiance. Definitely one of the nicest places in Broward county.

   Great service! And Amazing food ! Recommend for romantic dinners, friends to get together or family reunions. Un lugar especial donde el servicio y la comida están buenísimo.

   I was very disappointed since I made the reservation to celebrate my husband’s birthday . I requested that . When we got to the restaurant the waitress wanted to seat us in an empty room , not nice . Then we requested a table in the nice part , she wasn’t happy giving us that table . I told her : times we were celebrating my husband birthday. The guys next table were also celebrating a birthday , they got a cake with candle and singing by all the people in the restaurant. When we finished dinner I reminded her , but unfortunately she did nothing about . I had to order a dessert without candle and without singing. Not nice at all .

   Great food… good selection of wines .. veggie paella and paella mixta are delicious.. the skit steak is an excellent choice as well
