Candela Cucina is an upscale Italian restaurant from Servedwell Hospitality in the historic Candleworks building. Candela Cucina is not just another Italian American restaurant, Candela is an authentic Italian restaurant. Candela’s menu ranges from classic Italian dishes to innovative contemporary creations, all crafted with the finest ingredients.

This new concept from Servedwell Hospitality is in partnership with Peter Biondi. Pete has opened other Servedwell concepts and has worked at several NYC Michelin-starred restaurants. The menu is crafted and overseen by Chef Josh Riazi. Josh has been overseeing all Servedwell’s culinary development and operations since 2018. Josh has worked in several highly acclaimed restaurants; most notably, Josh was Executive Chef at Al Forno in Providence, RI. Josh is assisted by Chef Joe Melo, a Servedwell alum, who will oversee daily culinary operations at Candela.

Great experience overall ! Every dish prepared beautifully and served hot ! Service was perfect ..Only recommendation would be a broader selection of medium priced red wines $45-65 range.

We had seen advertisements for Sunday brunch, but had never been, had only eaten lunch and dinner. We decided to try it at the last minute since the menu looked extensive and the price looked great! We were not disappointed! The selection of food was both breakfast and lunch options, all delicious. The desserts were too numerous to try everything, again delicious options. We will definitely go again and would encourage our friends to join us!

Had a great meal here on Thursday night. From being seated through apps, dinner & dessert… it was a great time. The host was extremely polite and professional upon arrival and Cason, our waiter was attentive and hospitable throughout, in spite of having several larger parties around us. I attended the Wine Dinner here a couple of weeks back (fantastic!) -the menu was crafted for the night so I was interested in trying the house menu which did not disappoint. Will definitely be back!

The Brunch was OK. If you are going for the eggs, not so good. There was a ham station, ribs, green beans, & bacon we're very good. Chicken and salmon were OK depending on which pieces you chose. There was plenty of delicious pastries and desserts! I expected an omlet station, but there was none. The wait staff were awesome and very accommodating!

Food was excellent, busy Sat night, waiter forgot the wine for my guests (embarrassing), and took quite a while to have it served.
