Chef owner works very hard alone in the kitchen, yet finds time to interact with customers. A seat at the counter let’s you watch her doing her magic.

Have dined here several times now. Great french food and just always looking for an excuse to return. Tiny basement of a place, a hole in the wall gem as they say. You will not be disappointed. Noise level varies depending if you get some loud locals after work but otherwise, fantastic food and have sent many friends there with the same results--delicious and authentic french cuisine.

数年ぶりにカナルに伺いました。新宿もずいぶんかわってしまい、すぐ近くのゴールデン街も観光名所になってしまいましたけど、花園神社の近くのビルの脇にある地下への通路・・・そんな秘密基地っぽい雰囲気が大好き。カジュアルだけどちゃんとしたフレンチ、テーブルは小さいけど、その距離感が不思議に会話がはずむ、激安ではないけどお手頃なフレンチワイン、あっという間に時間がすぎてしまう・・・昔と変わらない雰囲気がいつまでもつづいてほしいと思います。
