Terrible service, poured soda water in our coke when asked for a refill, sat us next to another couple when we were the only two tables in the entire restaurant and we asked for a little space they said no. Asked for hot sauce for the burger that never came. Ordered fries with the burger that came at the end of the meal after everything else was finished. Overall felt the staff would rather hangout and talk than help us even though there were 4 people in the restaurant.

Amazing experience. The duck was astounding. The chicken wings heavenly. The sliders were to die for. Everything about this dinner was off the charts. Busy and loud, but worth it. Ivan our server did a great job suggesting great items. We will be back.

Words cannot do justice to what I just experience. Sliders were delightful. Absolute perfect bite in the dumpling, literally one of the best bites I have ever had. The salad was amazing, entrees were fantastic. If there was a critical piece of feedback to be had it would be that the hollandaise sauce could have benefitted from more lemon - I still licked the plate!

Our dinner was pretty good. I've been hearing about Canard for years, so maybe my expectations were too high. It wasn't bad by any means, it was just kind of...fine. There was at least one flaw on every dish that took it down a notch. Like the potato salad...the gribiche was stunning, super flavorful and bright when eaten by itself. But the potatoes were completely unseasoned and it was difficult to get enough sauce with each bite to offset the potatoes' blandness, plus the fried component (onion or garlic?) was texturally too hard and its flavor overwhelmed the sauce. Likewise the steam burger's actual burger component was fantastic, beautifully seasoned and cooked, but the bun-to-burger ratio was way off, and there was too much cheese as well, so you barely tasted the excellent burger underneath. The dashi that came with the foie gras dumplings was glorious, but the inclusion of yuzu (normally one of my favorite ingredients) on top of the dumplings obliterated the other more delicate flavors. I will say that the service was excellent, attentive but not overbearing. We most likely won't be back though, there are too many incredible restaurants in Portland to go back to one that's just okay.

The hype is no lie, Canard is all that and a bag of chips! My non-foodie husband loved the little burgers. The Paris-Brest dessert was out of this world delicious (and we are not dessert people). Ordered the asparagus, foie gras dumplings, oeufs en mayonnaise and tartar as well. Everything was delicious, interesting and the right size for sharing. Service was perfectly timed, the staff is lovely and helpful and the atmosphere is cozy. I can’t wait to return!

Delicious small shareable plates. We were a group of three and had six plates + one dessert. Each was tasty, but the eggs were my favorite. Ask for a little bread to enjoy the extra saucy goodness!

Intimate restaurant with some unique twists on familiar ingredients. We would have liked to try more things. We had a very pleasant experience with excellent food and very attentive service.
