   Excellent service, tremendous food, comfortable ambiance…had the hummus starter and garlicky shrimp then the striped bass entree, outstanding flavors and healthy portions.

   Staff was amazing and the food was spectacular! Everyone from the front staff to the busser was so friendly and made my daughter’s birthday so memorable! And the foooood!!!! Absolutely perfect

   We got stuck in San Juan after missing our connecting flight! We we looking for a place to have dinner and ended up at CAñA. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and chose a table outside overlooking the pool. Our server was Felix and he walked thru the drink menu as well as the dinner menu. We had the pork bite for an appetizer and they were delicious! My wife chose the pork chop. It was breaded and deep fried. A little different but good. I had the whole snapper. It was delicious. We ended with the brownie dessert. Wonderful! We would definitely eat here again!

   Very expensive relative to food quality and level of interest though the homemade hot sauce was a nice touch re: local/interesting. Service was very good and friendly and the resort is very nice and good views etc.

   Arrived for dinner with my cousin and found ourselves in this Beautiful ambiance as always. This is the sixth time I’ve dined at Cana and the octopus appetizer was great but the Alcapuria appetizer left us disappointed. I dined on the fried chillo which had absolutely no flavor and he had the prawn and crab rice which is lacked seasoning. I had told him that the food in the past was very good. This time it was fair to so-so!

    The food was okay except the blue crab rice and shrimp, it was not good at all. The rice was so fishy and salty that we didn’t eat it and the shrimp was mushy. We told the waiter and he said I’m so sorry but then charged us for that horrible meal. The restaurant was VERY over priced. The one nice thing was the bass with coconut curry sauce. Super salty but tasty.

    March 2-23 we make reservations to surprise our daughter for her birthday The terrace is absolutely beautiful. The waitress was so nice and professional. She even make an amazing job surprising with a piece of cake for my daughter. Kelly and Sheila recommend us a few plates that were great and sooo good To be honest, above our expectations. The food was amazingly good And the camaraderie and the good vibes of all waiters make a very good night dinner to remember We will come back Thank Juliana

    great spot for lunch and R&R off the cruise ship and while waiting for a late afternoon flight home. Good food. Expensive but generous portions at Cano. Nice setting overlooking the pools, with beach just beyond. They also checked our luggage for free while we were there.

    From the moment we walked into CAÑA the experience was flawless. The hostess managed to accommodate our outdoor request - corner patio breeze overlooking the under lit pool. Felix made our night with menu recommendations, personally making my husband’s special request cocktail, pacing the meal perfectly. When they ran out of grilled octopus appetizer we switched to the Khushho oysters chilled in passion fruit micro cilantro sauce. We had the striped sea bass, pork loin and filet mignon each with interesting complements like celery root purée or roasted vegetables. Completed with a twist on the brownie sundae not too sweet with a tangy compote drizzle and surprise peanut brittle chunks on the plate. Jasmine green tea. Felix gave us inside tips on things to see and filled us in on the last five years on Isla Verde. What a wonderful finish to a wonderful day!

    Celebrated my wife birthday at Cana Reservations at 8:00, arrived at 7:45 there were plenty of tables available . Were told couldn’t be sat until 8:00. We could wait at bar!! We already spent over $100 at another bar in hotel. At 8:00 we were sat at a table that was empty when we arrived 15 mins earlier!! The waitress came over, very nice, friendly. We could tell they were understaffed as she looked overwhelmed. She got our wine and took our order no problems. Our apps came out, very good, tasty. Meanwhile our waitress was running all over really trying to keep up, working very hard. Before our app were cleared the runner came out with our entrees. Our waitress saw that and came over to clear. The food was very good. We finished ordered one dessert. It was also very good but took about a half hour to come out. I know in PR they are on manuna time and staffing is hard but I expected more in this class of hotel and restaurant

    Awsome food and great ambiance, the waiters are great but the kitchen is shortstaff or overwhelmed with work. It seems they are also supplying food for other areas of the hotel delaying the food to the restaurant itself.

    We went for brunch and the menu was delicious! The customer service so nice and very attendant. Mimosa was perfect, sounds and views so relaxed. Value Ok because include pool pass.

    Ambience and vibe was good, very nice decor, right at the pool at the resort. Menu sounds great and I think everything was cooked well but maybe not quite as good as it sounds. The pork bites were lacking either a sauce or something else. The pigeon pea hummus was fine, but the chicharrones might have been from a bag and not made in house. The whole fried snapper was not as expected. I’ve cooked whole snappers myself, and this was unlike any I’vehad before. The bulk of the meet was removed and it was like snapper nuggets nestled in between the rest of the fish, tail and head that were also fried. Thought it tasted fine and was cooked well, it was not as expected and lacking the salsa that it was supposed to come with. There was maybe a teaspoon of that on top. So overall a good concept restaurant, but based on my experience it was not worth the price.

    Wonderful experience. Our server, Felix, was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The tuna tartare appetizer and hummus appetizer were fresh and the portions were generous. The snapper entrée and striped bass entrée were good, not great, but we still finished everything. The coconut brulée dessert was fantastic also. I would definitely choose this restaurant again!

    The view from the restaurant and the ambiance and service were excellent but the food was not great. We expected amazing food for the price and reputation of the restaurant but were left disappointed. We started with the root vegetable fritters with crab on top- the taste was good but two of the three fritters had crab shell pieces on them. Then we had the octopus salad on tostones. The salad was very good but the tostones were so hard and chewy you could hardly bite them and were not a good vehicle for the salad. We ordered two entrees- the fried whole snapper and the mushroom risotto. The snapper had good flavor and presentation but was nothing amazing in texture for what you'd want out of fish at such a fine restaurant. It also had nothing along with it, just the fish and it was supposed to be an entree. The risotto said it had broccolini in it, but instead of broccolini which I've also known to be called broccoli raab, which would have been delicious, it just had a huge hunk of a steamed broccoli crown sitting on top of the risotto. The risotto was nothing spectacular either. The crown of the meal however was the coconut custard dessert. I have no negative comment on that, it was excellent. Also, the ginger meets vodka mixed drink was great.
