We enjoyed our dinner out with friends in Camps Kitchen and Bar. We were a safe distance from other eaters and the service was friendly and timely! The food was as ordered and delicious and fresh. We felt comfortable and welcome and couldn't ask for more! The pizza and salads were fresh and yummy!
Nice local restaurant with good food. The patio was delightful. Service was fine and very gracious. Only moment of disappointment was the discovery that the grilled cheese sandwich is no longer on the menu! Please bring that back!
Food was excellent. Atmosphere was also excellent, I’d definitely go back.
We had a family get together celebrating one son’s birthday. It was a fairly slow night but whether we’ve been when busy or slow, we get awesome service and the menu is great-lots of choice. And...wine selections are really good. This place is a value and we’re glad to have it in the neighborhood!!
Great service and food, can’t complain about anything
We love their patio. It’s big and tables r spaced apart well. Love the tacos especially. Great burger. Reasonable wine by the glass.
Great food outdoor seats wonderful
Made reservation through Open Table and anticipating we’d be able to sit outside. We arrived and no outdoor seating was available. Very disappointed that I took the time to make a reservation and all the outdoor seats were taken. Will probably be a while before we revisit.
First time out since the virus shutdown. Had never been to Camps, but snagged a 5:45 PM reservation last Saturday night. I always note that a restaurant is sold out from 6-8 or 9 last minute as a good sign as was the case for our last minute decision to dine out at Camps.
Upon arrival, we had to push a bit to be seated outside on a large wood deck, where we were more comfortable, given the virus is still active. Our wish was granted. Tables were appropriately spaced. You do need to walk through the dining room but staff is appropriately masked and yet they were upbeat and friendly.
Ordered a Gyro and Salmon dish. Great veggies and rice with the Salmon. Both dishes were tasty and enjoyed the $3 house beer too.
We'll be back.
I was able to place reservations online. They have a good variety of dishes for reasonable prices. I ordered an unusual take on a dish that I enjoy - Ricotta gnocchi with shrimp in a hot tomato sauce. It was very good. The "side salads" were excellent and a great value. Everything was very fresh.
Great Service, good ambiance, reasonably priced meals
Nice staff. Love the pizza!!! Stick to simple drinks. Property Owner needs to pressure wash deck/pergola at this restaurant and adjoining Moxie Taco.
After 4 years of passing by that location, I finally decided to go into Camps for lunch. My favorite part was the canoe hanging from the ceiling in the main dining area. Rest of the experience was just ok all around. Pizzas at the table next to us looked better than what we ordered. (I had the philly, and my gluten-free friend ordered a salad). Glad I tried it, but I'm not in a hurry to go back.
Great food great service. We always enjoy ourselves.
Camps continues to be consistently good. They are good to their people and the servers are sharp! We love this place and Tiffany, our favorite server is awesome!!!
Food was outstanding. Amazing service. Well priced. Love this place.
I loved loved loved the restaurant.
Valentine’s Day and got a last minute reservation that day for 4.
They offered a price fixed menu of salad, lobster and cheesecake which was outstanding!
I put in comments it was my birthday. No mention from anyone about my birthday. Our server was very nice but they were short staffed and she was overworked. I was promised a table by the fireplace and then it was given away to another party. Food was great, value was very good, but they truly fell short for my special evening.
Awesome place for our lunch for 11. Camps server sis a great job with our large party. Great food and value too.
Love this restaurant and the staff is most accommodating!!!
We had a wonderful brunch at Camps today. The buffet is fabulous...the food is delicious! The service was excellent as well.
Wonderful food and exceptional customer service. This restaurant team truly cares about their customers’ experience and it shows. Highly recommended- will return!
Camps is a solid go-to for us. Owned by the Hearth folks, it has consistently delicious dishes, great drinks, friendly employees, attentive service, and comfortable environment. We just want the Brussels Sprouts on the menu!!
Service was excellent and we really liked the atmosphere. Food was good, not great but it was priced pretty reasonably and we would definitely go back.
Good food at reasonable prices
We shared a house salad, veggie pizza and bottle of wine. All three were excellent. The service was spotty (so unlike Camps in our previous visits). Our waitress seemed rushed and when she finally brought the bottle of wine to our table struggled to get it open. Once it was she just poured us each a glass and left the table, never pouring a taste or asking if it was okay. Since we were sharing our food order we asked for seperate plates, that never happened. Then she proceeded to come to our table every few minutes which got very annoying. I finally told her that we were trying to have a conversation which she was interrupting. She even removed my plate before I was finished eating. Never asked if we wanted dessert and gave us our bill way too early. The restaurant was not that busy and sure didn't need our table. We will be back BUT will not have her, if she is still there, wait on us. Like I said earlier it was so unlike Camps.
Good food at a fair price.
Very good service
Fried cauliflower, eggplant parmesan, yummy. Prices are reasonable, can't wait to try it out in warmer months, outside looks, nice.
Great food in a great environment. Tiffany was our server and she was amazing, would definitely ask to be at one of her tables next time.
Excellent place to dine with family and / or friends. The location is very convenient to East cobbers
Excellent service and good food
We enjoyed the Sunday brunch buffet for my fiancé’s birthday breakfast. We sat at the bar and the service was quick and accurate. We waited no more than a few minutes for drink refills. Highly recommend!
Nice variety on their menu. Good place for families. Nice atmosphere.
Great place! We will be back. good for families or just a night out.
We went for my husband’s birthday dinner and everything was fabulous. The service and food was excellent. Everyone had a great time!
First time in for dinner on a Friday night. Ordered the Veggie Bomb pizza as an appetizer. The crust was outstanding, loaded with toppings, and had great flavor. We odered pasta for dinner. Good flavor and came out hot which is sometimes not the case with pasta. Great prices. Giving a 3 because I was not overly impressed with the pasta. I would go back for the pizza and maybe try one of their sandwiches.
It’s so comfortable. Food is great.
