First time in for dinner on a Friday night. Ordered the Veggie Bomb pizza as an appetizer. The crust was outstanding, loaded with toppings, and had great flavor. We odered pasta for dinner. Good flavor and came out hot which is sometimes not the case with pasta. Great prices. Giving a 3 because I was not overly impressed with the pasta. I would go back for the pizza and maybe try one of their sandwiches.
We went for my husband’s birthday dinner and everything was fabulous. The service and food was excellent. Everyone had a great time!
Love the food, its a beautiful little restaurant, the servers are always very nice and attentive.
I am a regular Camps Kitchen and Bar patron and the other night my husband and I were bringing a long-time friend there and it was Taco Tuesday, which we have gone to many times and enjoyed. This last Tues. the taco shells were like cardboard and the meat cold and obviously had sad for a long time before serving. It was a poor experience and a bit embarrassing because it was a birthday get together for an old friend.
We had table for 7 for Sunday brunch. Nice big windows behind us, lots of light. However, sun shining directly on us. Management was very accommodating, moving table around to get us in shade. However, you really should have closeable shades on those windows. That time of day when it's sunny, sun is coming from south directly in those windows. This could happen many times during lunch or Sunday brunch.
Awesome date night. Must do wine and pie night!
Great overall. Managers were involved with serving customers but not very friendly. Our waitress was the best.
Food and service were great. Staff was more than accommodating
We are from out of town and chose this place on a whim, and I’m so glad we did! The food was excellent! And, our server was polite and very knowledgeable about the menu. All of her recommendations were delicious!
Nice place to gather with friends. Reasonable prices, nice selection of food and wine. Also easy to dine with children.
Service was excellent. Food was good. Everyone enjoyed it.
Great date night pick
My family of three, two of which are ridiculously picky eaters, dined at Camps over the weekend. I was hellbent on trying a restaurant we hadn't been to yet in Atlanta that wasn't a chain. My experiment with this place paid off. We started off with deviled eggs and parmesan truffle fries for appetizers. Both were delicious but if I'm being objective the fries would've been perfect with just a bit more truffle oil. We tasted most of it when we got down to the bottom of the (TWO) orders of fries we had at the table. Our 6-yr old had the cheese pizza which she ate every bite of. That NEVER happens. After much deliberation I had fettuccine alfredo with grilled shrimp which was delicious and my partner had BBQ chicken pizza which he said was also delicious and tasted super fresh. He said they did something magical with the cheese because the way it all paired together was perfect. The inside of this place is a really cute and a bit dark but perfect ambiance. Could work for a family or for a romantic night out. Not too pretentious and our server was awesome. I cannot remember her name but she was a gorgeous naturalista w/ curly hair. We'll definitely be back!
Simple affordable menu with good drink options. Good service and the pizzas are great as well as the burgers.
We went to Camps with our three children (elementary, middle and high school aged) before a night at the Fox theater. We wanted a comfortable place with a nice atmosphere and quality food that wasn’t extravagant. Camps fit the bill perfectly. Everyone loved their meal and we had a great experience.
Best food ever! Will return
Lovely experience. Good food, wonderful deck on which to enjoy the mild weather!
Another fantastic experience at Camps! Greeted and seated promptly. Ambiance was wonderful as usual. Fast and friendly service from Sierra and the bar staff. I always feel comfortable recommending and bringing friends and family to this establishment.
Sunday brunch was delicious! Loved the atmosphere. Manager was helping replenish buffet and checking on all customers. We'll go back!
We live 10 seconds from Camps and loved Houcks for a million years so finally decided to try dinner and man were we impressed not just with the menu but our server Kim was exactly what one looks for when dining out , Kim was personable , friendly and very patient with our 90 year young mom and her menu questions ! Kudos Kim ... We will be back
Food made freshly with lots of flavor! Fries are sooo good!
Start to finish dinner was perfection! Tuesday Tacos and their margarita special are a great value best thing was the attentive service and their attention to detail. Example; Their non salted butter is served at the right temperature and is from Wholesome Farms. Great meal and first time experience at Camps
Good food and great prices. The Kale salad is one of the best. Fine dining at reasonable prices.
Hostess and bartender made us feel like we were bothering them. Don’t think we every received a smile.
A server for another table was more helpful than the person serving us.
The pretzel was great. Then we waited... I could see my wife’s burger ready, sitting in window. After a couple minutes I see cook grabbing bread and I wonder - is that my grilled cheese. Spoiler alert - it was. My food wasn’t started until my wife’s was done.
Wife’s burger was over cooked and salty. Lettuce, tomatoes, etc were hot on the plate. Grilled cheese should be called the capt crunch. Roof of my mouth is still cut up. The cheese wasn’t oooey goooey, barely melted. Tomato half off sandwich.
The ambiance was great. The have a great opportunity to be great. Better timing on food - be thankful for your customers. Quality!
Very limited menu. Worn out infrastructure.
Attentive waitress, excellent food and drinks.
Fantastic food and service as usual!
Perfect patio for this weather!
This is a great location for lunch with friends, date or even a drink after a hike
Great place. Good food, warm environment and pleasant service.
Great service. Nice atmosphere. We had the meatballs and chopped salad. Very good!
Nice menu and very good service. Great salads!
Everything was just perfect. Our waitress helped us out to pick the best dish. From appetizer to dessert via entree, we had a great experience
NICE. DEFINENTLY WOULD GO BACK AND BACK AND BACK. VERY GOOD ALL AROUND.
Brought some friends in and they loved it! Fast service from the bar to the patio kept the party going! Thanks for the great service!
The patio is incredibly beautiful! Cool even in July! The food was excellent!
We have been in East Cobb for 20 years and have eaten at the many institutions that have been in this location over the years. Camps is a really good casual dining spot; so far the best of the tenants that have graced the Paper Mill Village. It’s got a fun laid back vibe that invites you to lounge with a few drinks over a few hours and inevitably run into people that you know. The menu is unpretentious; food portions are generous and service is a little lax if you’re sitting outside, but just fine unless you’re in a big hurry. Will be there frequently I’m sure.
Camps is a great neighborhood restaurant. Prices are reasonable, outdoor dining is comfortable and service great.
Good food, great atmosphere and an overall good value.
I would recommend the restaurant but not the brunch. Eggs were over cooked and cold. Sausages were so over cooked they were crunchy. Not many choices. 100 dollars for four people for brunch ( 3 adults 1 child . Stick to the regular menu- it’s wonderful.
We had an enjoyable experience. Everyone was happy with their meal and variety they had on their menu. We sat next to the patio area and enjoy the natural light and view. The interior decor is cool for hanging out for dinner and nice lounge and bar area. Server was very attentive.
