Camps Kitchen & Bar
After 4 years of passing by that location, I finally decided to go into Camps for lunch. My favorite part was the canoe hanging from the ceiling in the main dining area. Rest of the experience was just ok all around. Pizzas at the table next to us looked better than what we ordered. (I had the philly, and my gluten-free friend ordered a salad). Glad I tried it, but I'm not in a hurry to go back.
Great food great service. We always enjoy ourselves.
Camps continues to be consistently good. They are good to their people and the servers are sharp! We love this place and Tiffany, our favorite server is awesome!!!
Food was outstanding. Amazing service. Well priced. Love this place.
I loved loved loved the restaurant.
Valentine’s Day and got a last minute reservation that day for 4.
They offered a price fixed menu of salad, lobster and cheesecake which was outstanding!
I put in comments it was my birthday. No mention from anyone about my birthday. Our server was very nice but they were short staffed and she was overworked. I was promised a table by the fireplace and then it was given away to another party. Food was great, value was very good, but they truly fell short for my special evening.
Awesome place for our lunch for 11. Camps server sis a great job with our large party. Great food and value too.
Love this restaurant and the staff is most accommodating!!!
We had a wonderful brunch at Camps today. The buffet is fabulous...the food is delicious! The service was excellent as well.
Wonderful food and exceptional customer service. This restaurant team truly cares about their customers’ experience and it shows. Highly recommended- will return!
Camps is a solid go-to for us. Owned by the Hearth folks, it has consistently delicious dishes, great drinks, friendly employees, attentive service, and comfortable environment. We just want the Brussels Sprouts on the menu!!
Service was excellent and we really liked the atmosphere. Food was good, not great but it was priced pretty reasonably and we would definitely go back.
Good food at reasonable prices
We shared a house salad, veggie pizza and bottle of wine. All three were excellent. The service was spotty (so unlike Camps in our previous visits). Our waitress seemed rushed and when she finally brought the bottle of wine to our table struggled to get it open. Once it was she just poured us each a glass and left the table, never pouring a taste or asking if it was okay. Since we were sharing our food order we asked for seperate plates, that never happened. Then she proceeded to come to our table every few minutes which got very annoying. I finally told her that we were trying to have a conversation which she was interrupting. She even removed my plate before I was finished eating. Never asked if we wanted dessert and gave us our bill way too early. The restaurant was not that busy and sure didn't need our table. We will be back BUT will not have her, if she is still there, wait on us. Like I said earlier it was so unlike Camps.
Good food at a fair price.
Very good service
Fried cauliflower, eggplant parmesan, yummy. Prices are reasonable, can't wait to try it out in warmer months, outside looks, nice.
Great food in a great environment. Tiffany was our server and she was amazing, would definitely ask to be at one of her tables next time.
Excellent place to dine with family and / or friends. The location is very convenient to East cobbers
Excellent service and good food
We enjoyed the Sunday brunch buffet for my fiancé’s birthday breakfast. We sat at the bar and the service was quick and accurate. We waited no more than a few minutes for drink refills. Highly recommend!
Nice variety on their menu. Good place for families. Nice atmosphere.
Great place! We will be back. good for families or just a night out.
First time in for dinner on a Friday night. Ordered the Veggie Bomb pizza as an appetizer. The crust was outstanding, loaded with toppings, and had great flavor. We odered pasta for dinner. Good flavor and came out hot which is sometimes not the case with pasta. Great prices. Giving a 3 because I was not overly impressed with the pasta. I would go back for the pizza and maybe try one of their sandwiches.
We went for my husband’s birthday dinner and everything was fabulous. The service and food was excellent. Everyone had a great time!
It’s so comfortable. Food is great.
Love the food, its a beautiful little restaurant, the servers are always very nice and attentive.
I am a regular Camps Kitchen and Bar patron and the other night my husband and I were bringing a long-time friend there and it was Taco Tuesday, which we have gone to many times and enjoyed. This last Tues. the taco shells were like cardboard and the meat cold and obviously had sad for a long time before serving. It was a poor experience and a bit embarrassing because it was a birthday get together for an old friend.
We had table for 7 for Sunday brunch. Nice big windows behind us, lots of light. However, sun shining directly on us. Management was very accommodating, moving table around to get us in shade. However, you really should have closeable shades on those windows. That time of day when it's sunny, sun is coming from south directly in those windows. This could happen many times during lunch or Sunday brunch.
Awesome date night. Must do wine and pie night!
Great overall. Managers were involved with serving customers but not very friendly. Our waitress was the best.
Food and service were great. Staff was more than accommodating
We are from out of town and chose this place on a whim, and I’m so glad we did! The food was excellent! And, our server was polite and very knowledgeable about the menu. All of her recommendations were delicious!
Nice place to gather with friends. Reasonable prices, nice selection of food and wine. Also easy to dine with children.
Service was excellent. Food was good. Everyone enjoyed it.
Great date night pick
My family of three, two of which are ridiculously picky eaters, dined at Camps over the weekend. I was hellbent on trying a restaurant we hadn't been to yet in Atlanta that wasn't a chain. My experiment with this place paid off. We started off with deviled eggs and parmesan truffle fries for appetizers. Both were delicious but if I'm being objective the fries would've been perfect with just a bit more truffle oil. We tasted most of it when we got down to the bottom of the (TWO) orders of fries we had at the table. Our 6-yr old had the cheese pizza which she ate every bite of. That NEVER happens. After much deliberation I had fettuccine alfredo with grilled shrimp which was delicious and my partner had BBQ chicken pizza which he said was also delicious and tasted super fresh. He said they did something magical with the cheese because the way it all paired together was perfect. The inside of this place is a really cute and a bit dark but perfect ambiance. Could work for a family or for a romantic night out. Not too pretentious and our server was awesome. I cannot remember her name but she was a gorgeous naturalista w/ curly hair. We'll definitely be back!
Always a great experience for family dining or date. One of our local go to spots.
Simple affordable menu with good drink options. Good service and the pizzas are great as well as the burgers.
We went to Camps with our three children (elementary, middle and high school aged) before a night at the Fox theater. We wanted a comfortable place with a nice atmosphere and quality food that wasn’t extravagant. Camps fit the bill perfectly. Everyone loved their meal and we had a great experience.
