We love eating here! This is one of our favorite neighborhood go-to restaurants. We always receive great service and the food is fantastic no matter what we order.
Very nice dinner-priced so you can eat there often. Pizza & Blackened Fish sandwich were terrific! Can get a little loud-but not enough to get points off. We’ll be going back!
The food was good, especially the garlic knots. Our server was nice and attentive. The outdoor seating was cool.
This was easily the worst dining experience I’ve had in a long while. Inexcusable really. It was a birthday celebration that was ruined by extreme noise, slow service, and mediocre food served to our party at intervals.
DO NOT take a large party to this establishment. We were seated in the lowest part of the restaurant with other large parties, and we were unable to have a conversation or hear our waitress. We had to request that she remove her mask so we might read her lips.
Our entrees took a long time to arrive, and when they did, 2 out of our 7 guests remained without their meals for about 15 minutes.
Our birthday guest never got his “free dessert’” The wait was just too long and the noise level unbearable. We ordered another dessert which did not arrive until after multiple requests and a conversation with the manager. Everyone we spoke to blamed someone else for not bringing it.
I will say that the 15 minute late pizza was taken off the bill. And our server was apologetic. I did appreciate these gestures, but they did not make up for the terrible experience.
Better management and more staff are needed if this restaurant is going to be viable. We will not be returning. Very disappointed and embarrassed that I chose Camps for our celebration.
Very good meal, meatball pizza was great and the patty melt was fantastic
Great service! Love the patio! We will be back soon!
Great Valentine’s dinner. Thanks!
Our server was exceptional especially considering we had a toddler with us. Hostess was a little short with the “Do you have a reservation?’ when we just entered the restaurant. Yes we did but it irritates me when there isn’t a more appropriate greeting. Drinks and food were good and substantial.
Thoroughly enjoyed the wine and appetizers--didn't purchase an entire dinner. Have been to CKB many times and it's always delicious.
I loved this place it was a warm welcome. The waitress was so great and the food was good. Don’t leave without dessert bread pudding is good . I will be back
We eat at Camps about once a month. This was a disappointing experience - the calamari was overcooked - almost not edible, the salmon entree had an unusally small piece of salmon which was overcooked and there was very little rice with the entree. It also took a very long time to get our meal. On the positive side, our server kept our drinks full while we waited.
Although we have enjoyed meals here before, the last several times the service has been terrible. This time we had a dinner reservation at 7 and we left at 9. We had to ask for a server to come to our table after we had been seated for over 15 minutes with no water or drinks. The food took well over 45 minutes once we ordered and the steak was well done when my husband ordered rare. Even reordering it still took a very long time to come out but by that time the rest of the family had eaten. A few very loud tables in a not at all crowded restaurants also really ruined the atmosphere. They offered free dessert but by the time we had waited so long for each course we didn’t even want it and they have delicious desserts. The restaurant was NOT crowded with people dining at tables.
Good food and outdoor dining. A few more heaters would be ideal.
Service was too slow. Brought wrong order. Drinks took too long
We had the best time at Camps celebrating an 18th birthday. Lakita was an amazing, attentive and just all around happy server. We will be back soon.
Always a great time here. Highly underrated! Bar is great!
Overall an incredible experience. Highly recommend
Ted behind the bar is wonderful!
Storoganoff was great!
Skylar was a fabulous waitress. Staff was wearing masks. Caesar salad was fresh and tasty. We had two pasta dishes and they were great. Highly recommend.
Garlic knots weren't fully cooked.
First off I made a very last minute reservation on open table which happened to be a glitch in the system. We walked in right before they closed and were met with smiles and overwhelming kindness. We were going to head out but they happily said they would honor the reservation. Our server and everyone who helped were so friendly and treated us no different than if we had walked in there when they had opened. I know they had to be tired but they worked hard and went over and above. The food was delicious as always. We have always enjoyed Camps, but this set them over the top. They are totally worth going and enjoying a meal. This extra mile made our little ballerinas after their recital feel so special...their parents too!
Love the outdoor patio! A great option for feeling "normal" in this not-so-normal time.
The food is excellent. It was my favorite part of the dining experience. The server was good and attentive. The drinks took a while to come out, but they were made well. The table was a little wobbly, which caused one drink to spill. I'm glad they have an outdoor patio.
Always great food!
Great food, and we enjoyed the outdoor area.
Service was a bit slow but it was also busy. E had a nice table outside so it was great.
Went for family dinner on Halloween. We ordered chicken dish called penne bosca was real good delicious chicken and penne pasta dish with a real nice sauce. Also had mahi sandwich delicious too along w burger and pizza. Everything good service real friendly and attentive.
This restaurant was closed when we arrived
Loved this place. The food was excellent and so was the service. We tried a few different thing the steak tacos, truffle fries, sweet potato fries, and the Bee me up Scotty pizza. Everything was fantastic and you couldn't beat the price. Will return
We went last night and enjoyed a wonderful meal on the outside deck! I had the Mahi Mahi sandwich and it was delicious! We took a to go Bread Pudding home and it was also delicious! The inside fireplace was so inviting so we will be back to enjoy when the weather turns cooler. Definitely recommend especially it you are looking to dine outdoors due to Covid! They have heaters for when needed. However last night the 8 of us had great weather and a fun evening!!
This was our first time dining at Camps. The service was exceptional. The drinks were well made and the food was delicious! Will definitely go again!
We had a reservation and were seated promptly when we arrived. We ate out on the patio and the tables were situated a good distance apart so very acceptable with the Covid environment. The service was outstanding, with our waitress Tara very engaging. We were out to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the restaurant provided us with a free dessert. Overall we had a very, very nice experience, and I highly recommend.
Enjoyable from arrival to departure. Service, food, ambiance were delightful.
I had the fish and chips. The breading was a little heavy for me but very good flavor. The fries were hand-cut and tasty. Loved the tartar sauce. We had a great sever - very friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable.
Love Camp's! Sarah is a wonderful server, we've been lucky to have her at our table both times we've gone to Camp's in the last two months. Food is always delicious, this place is a new favorite for our family.
The food at Camps is excellent and a great value. Also, the drinks are very good, especially the specialty cocktails. Has a great outdoor seating area.
I loved the rustic vibe and prices were very reasonable. I will be back for sure. Glad I discovered this gem.
We loved the atmosphere and the food was great! The outdoor patio was very spacious and cozy. We definitely plan on dining here again and would recommend as a great little neighborhood spot!
