Food was quite good, but not quite what you'd expect at these prices. Music playing during dinner (sort of 80s soul make-out music) was definitely not what we wanted in an upscale restaurant (no music would be better). Setting is pretty in an austere modern way.

We had a great time at Campofiore, which makes it a little bittersweet that the food didn't quite keep pace. The cacio e pepe leaned more buttery than sharp, the pasta was a touch undercooked, and the spaghetti carbonara came out saltier than we'd have liked. The cheese board was another letdown: $18 for three small slices of cheese, a spoonful of apricot preserves, a truffle-infused honey that — while littered with truffle flakes — lacked any real truffle flavor, and two maraschino cherries, with nothing like crackers to bring it together (we ended up asking for extra bread). For the price, we expected a bit more. The saving grace was the service — Cesar and Stephanie went out of their way to accommodate us — along with the polpette ricotta, which was genuinely delicious. None of this is to write off Campofiore; there's plenty here worth enjoying. Just be a little mindful with your selections.

My 1st course and 2nd course went to a different table. I had to flag it to the waiter. Both courses came out at the same time. The entree came out immediately after they put the 1st/2nd on my table. There was no room on the table and we had just begun to eat. The waiter tried to make room on the table rather than simply taking the entree back to the kitchen. Food was rushed and rich. Too rich. I’ve been to this restaurant once before and absolutely love it. This experience makes me not want to go back.

Service was wonderful! Probably the best thing in my opinion was the service. What we ordered wasn’t our favorite but that’s ok.. would maybe still go back and try something else

We had a pasta dish and the tomato sauce was spicy (mildly hot) that was unexpected and led to our dissatisfaction with the meal. The spiciness should have been indicated on the menu.

I ate hair for the first time with a friend and we really enjoyed sitting outside on the patio. The service was unbelievable with constant check-in and refills of our sparkling water. We both loved our dishes, which came out piping hot and cooked to perfection. The portions are on the rather small side, though I would definitely recommend getting an appetizer or a salad, which I don’t usually do because I end up bringing half of my meal home, but in this case, we each had a pasta dish that was rather small.

Vibe of the place and drinks were great! Meatballs 10/10! Fritto misto eh. Carbonara too peppery and too al dente. Cauliflower lasagna not good. Lobster and short rib ravioli very good!
